Why was this? Testing purposes..?
-
No, we went to Disney Thursday through Sunday and the cruise was Monday through Friday out of Port Canaveral, Florida.
-
That's how I felt/feel as well. They just don't excite me really.
-
The Disney(Dream is what we were on) ship was impressively nice, as it should be for 2-4 times the price. We were docked next to a Carnival boat at one place and that just looked like a dump i comparison. Just looking at the Carnival boat made me never want to go on one.

Most cruise ships are in the 2500-3500 passengers range. You'd be surprised how not cramped that is on a boat that massive. The world's largest hold 5800 people.

I said I'd never do a cruise either until the gf's parents took us all last November. I still don't think I'd ever pay for one myself but it was an overall very enjoyable experience. Ours was a Disney cruise and it surprisingly wasn't overly kid oriented like I was afraid of. I mean most of it was geared towards kids but they still had adult only areas and MOST parents didn't let their kids just be sh!theads.

Yeah... sadly they have a massive economy out there. Aren't they in the top 10 in the world, just California?- 42 replies

Land Rover News: Rumorpile: Land Rover's Entry-Level Plan
ccap41 replied to William Maley's topic in Land Rover
I think it's a smart move but I'm not sure if they should bring down the Range Rover name any further than the Evoque. That's already a fairly weak entry for the brand.- 6 replies

ev cuv Camaro or Mustang EV CUV?
ccap41 replied to G. David Felt's topic in Electric Vehicles and Alternative Fuels
Probably sitting in your EV Camaro SUV.. Hasn't Ford hinted at a Mach 1 branded EV CUV? I hate that they're using that name for a CUV and not a Mustang trim. -
Industry News: Bosch Claims A New Breakthrough Can Save Diesel
ccap41 replied to William Maley's topic in Industry News
I don't think it is living with the past just because the fuel source is old. The technology is brand spanking new on gas and diesel. I don't think it means people are living in the past just because they want liquid fuel. Until you have an EV, you're living in the past just as much as ocn and the rest of us. More so handing big oil even more. -
CRAAAAZY how a car can look very similar and not the exact same because you change the bumpers and wheels. Does a Focus RS look exactly like a Focus SE? ? Or perhaps it looks "very similar".

I've only seen a few of the new Genesis branded vehicles in person(not sure if they were G80 or G90s) and they are damn good looking vehicles. I would absolutely drive a Genesis and feel no shame, unlike driving a Hyundai 10+ years ago.

Holy sht that's pricey out there. When I went past a gas station today I saw regulat 2.79 and diesel 3.04. They didn't have premium on the sign.- 42 replies

That's a fairly attractive automobile.

Yeah, let's trust Bosch to clean up diesel... They're the ones who made whatever components for VW to "pass" emissions.

2019 Lexus ES Grows In Size, Adds F-Sport : Comments

I'd upvote you but I have maxed that out apparently. So, here's this: ?? -
So should be Silverados stalling out in 100 degree weather or using breaks if you turn the steering wheel all the way. Let's criticize them then for not recalling and only making TSBs for it. You can find any specific circumstance for any part failure to become an injury if you want to. Nah. You can find and post if you'd like though.
-
I never insinuated they were the top dog. Just that everybody has them so it isn't something you should hold over one company that much more than another. Not really. You said GM recalls more and Toyota avoids things like this with TSBs while GM is also using TSBs. I completely agree with everybody that they(truck tailgates) should be able to handle a substantial amount of weight but I don't think it should be a SAFETY recall.
-
As little as 150lbs isn't a small amount, imo. That just doesn't seem like the kind of thing for a safety recall, imo. Standing on the tailgate probably already has warnings and such saying you probably shouldn't be doing it anyway. This sounds equally as dangerous as a tailgate falling off. It's for the 2017 Silverado. Honestly, the seat bolt potentially coming lose is more serious than anything with a tailgate. Brake like seems more serious but if you're in an accident and you get rear ended at least your seat belt is working. Recall vs TSB
