No but there are easily ways around it.. I drank when I wasn't 21, very easily. Yeah I'll play fantasy football and the daily stuff but I tried a fantasy baseball league once.. that was waaaaaay too time consuming. I can do football as I only need to set a lineup for once a week. Baseball having games 7 days a week was ridiculous. I'd spend like an hour+ once a week just trying to set a lineup where players were playing every day without even trying to look at match ups.It was fun at the beginning but halfway through it was overwhelming. I'll dab into NASCAR a little as well. I've never tried F1. It can't be too difficult, the same 2 teams are in the front every week..lol

Yeah when the gf and I went to Vegas last spring we gambled a bit.. probably lost about $100 between the two of us in 7 days. Machines just aren't my thing. They're boring and you can lose too much too quickly for my taste. I've never played cards or roulette either, mostly because they're $10+ minimum bets and also too easily to blow $50 in 5 minutes, not my thing. I mostly like making lineups for fantasy sports. I don't think I'd do much with the legalization here but I'd make a few more on things like preseason bets on the Cardinals, Blues, and Cowboys all winning their respective championships. I'm not really sure how much I'd do weekly at all.

Uhhh how many real adults? That's a pretty small number, eh?
-
Well I don't think there are too many who "watch gambling". Odd comparison considering you place a bet then check back later. I do Draft Kings with some friends and we basically just toss each others' money around and occasionally win on other lineups. I assume you're against the sale of alcohol as well then? I'm very confident that ruins way more lives than gambling. I know people get addicted to gambling but you're grouping everybody who gambles into the addicted party.
-
It isn't an addiction for 99% of people, like alcohol. Not everybody that gambles is addicted to it just like not everybody who drinks is an alcoholic. It will bring in a lot of money per state. IL estimates it bringing in roughly $100 million a year. I assume you're not much into watching sports then either?

Anybody else excited about the legalization of sports gambling?

Ehhhh not with the Viper. The rest, pretty much. That Lincoln truck(Blackwood?) was so close to being good but they made it not even a truck and screwed themselves. I've talked to a couple people with them and they absolutely love them. Great space like a minivan but looks of more an "SUV". They could be had with the 3.5EB as well, which was probably a pretty dang quick vehicle.

Why would they be cleaner? Also, it seems like a wash because the fuel will cost more to get better fuel economy.. they should just make a standard octane for everything. I feel like they were saying with economies of scale with 91 octane that the price would come down some.. okay so I'm assuming it would be priced like mid grade is now.. seems fair enough. So we'll pay $0.15-0.20/gallon more and get up to 11% gains in economy? I'm not seeing the benefit to any party other than the engineers themselves getting to play around more. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- I did a little math for my car and over the course of the 15,587 miles I've driven if I got 11% better fuel economy and fuel cost me $0.20/gallon more I would have saved exactly $26.93. $26.93

Woot Woot, ILLINOIS! We know how to drink.

Yeah the whole coupe style sedan that's also FWD gives off some odd proportions and angles. Sadly, I don't think they have the balls to make a performance variant. I think almost every enthusiast with GM would have put out a Cruze SS YEARS AGO. They've had fantastic 2.0T's for a decade+ just hanging around waiting for it.

Industry News: Pedestrian Deaths in Car Crashes Are Rising
ccap41 replied to William Maley's topic in Industry News
That sucks for most enthusiasts who pay attention and don't want to even pay $600 for something like that, let alone even more. If they're packaging it into the starting price it might not look like we're paying for it, but we are. -
Remember, he's also said the Bolt is extremely roomy Didn't diesel pumps have to change their nozzle for non-commercial vehicles? Do you know when this was? Weren't they huge to pump fuel at an incredible rate but they were too big for "regular" vehicles?

I truly believe there will be an excuse why not for the next 10-15 years.. 'There's just none that I want.' 'None fill my needs.' Apparently the Bolt does everything PERFECTLY..??♂️ I think they have that pre-packaged for you already.

That's actually the only thing that looks wrong about it, to me. I think the rest looks satisfactory for a smaller car. For better or worse, it puts off a little CLA vibe in its overall shape.

Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 Review
ccap41 replied to cp-the-nerd's topic in Product Questions and Reviews
^ That is what replaced my Extreme Contact DW's. I like the grip of the DW's but they are not a very quiet tire. They are very noticeably louder than the OE ContiProContacts.- 9 replies

They aren't because they have a minimum they "need" to spend. Tax payers should care about the money though. I'd rather the money go towards equipment or gear that they'd use rather than tri-zome climate control and trailer sway control along with the V8 over the V6(which is more than $100). And that's fine. I'm not asking for crank windows but 2 things that just seem incredibly wasteful to pay for are the V8 and tri-zone climate control. I know there will always be vents in all three rows but I guess the way that's worded it feel like they can each be controlled individually. -

Oh boy, what did they ever do before having tri-zone climate control...? ? -

Makes sense for Dodge but less so for the people buying them who don't need those additional costs. -

Those all sound so got damn unnecessary in a vehicle like this. Also, as a tax payer, I think the 5.7 needs to not be in this. They can't and aren't chasing people anymore and it's a 3 row SUV, there's no need for the extra power when 300hp in the V6 isn't weak. 295hp,18/25mpg 360hp, 14/22mpg ? -

Ballin' is exactly what this is. Also, HUGE! I never would have guessed this is actually longer than a Navigator.
