  1. They don't want a near sub compact car at all. What's wrong with the Clarity to refer to it as a "nightmare"?
  2. I'm intrigued with how it drives. My dad is very interested in it(function over form) as both him and my mom's work commutes are very short so the whole plug-in would be great for them.
  3. I like that idea as well but what do they do with things that already have the same engine, which is pretty much everything else?
  4. Its proportions are the worst in the business. It looks soooo bad.
  5. I test drove a Hyundai Elantra GT a couple months ago as Hyundai was giving $40 amazon gift cards away with any test drive and the guy I dealt with was really cool and we just BS'd the whole time but I get a call 2-3 times a week since then from their manager or whoever asking me about it.. It's always while I'm working so I never answer but good lord.. They have to have called me no less than 10 times at this point. Edit: Probably more like a month and a half ago..
  6. They had horse "fill-up" stations in the 1900's?
  7. And 15 years ago flip phones were a thing.. Once they get their foot in the door things can advance extremely quick.
  8. Why would they want that when they're trying to keep Jeep a more premium brand? The vehicle in this article isn't going to be made for this market so I'm kind of confused on all of the hoopla over it in general. The Grand Wagoneer is what we will get and that'll be a big 7 seater.
  9. FWD platforms but not necessarily "car" platforms. The Grand Cherokee and Wrangler are on RWD platforms... if that's what they do now, why change? ?
  10. Yeah that's not the Jeep way. If they offer a Trailhawk version in the baby Renegade..They'll have one in their range topper as well.
  11. Yeah it's a hard pass on full EVs for awhile yet. And this is an infrastructure in CALIFORNIA which probably has the most EVs on their roads!
  12. Exactly! There just seem to be way more sacrifices than there should be in a $40,000 vehicle.
  13. It's a good read about a pretty short road trip that sounds very inconveniently planned due to their ride being an EV. http://www.motortrend.com/cars/chevrolet/bolt-ev/2017/2017-chevrolet-bolt-ev-review-long-term-update-7/ I know @ocnblu will appreciate this. ?
  14. I cannot comment on the sales threads.. This is what the bottom of my page looks like. There is no text box.
  15. Why was this? Testing purposes..?
  16. No, we went to Disney Thursday through Sunday and the cruise was Monday through Friday out of Port Canaveral, Florida.
  17. That's how I felt/feel as well. They just don't excite me really.
  18. The Disney(Dream is what we were on) ship was impressively nice, as it should be for 2-4 times the price. We were docked next to a Carnival boat at one place and that just looked like a dump i comparison. Just looking at the Carnival boat made me never want to go on one.
  19. Most cruise ships are in the 2500-3500 passengers range. You'd be surprised how not cramped that is on a boat that massive. The world's largest hold 5800 people.
  20. I said I'd never do a cruise either until the gf's parents took us all last November. I still don't think I'd ever pay for one myself but it was an overall very enjoyable experience. Ours was a Disney cruise and it surprisingly wasn't overly kid oriented like I was afraid of. I mean most of it was geared towards kids but they still had adult only areas and MOST parents didn't let their kids just be sh!theads.
  21. Remember when Ford got flak for this? Pepperidge Farms does.
  22. Yeah... sadly they have a massive economy out there. Aren't they in the top 10 in the world, just California?
  23. I think it's a smart move but I'm not sure if they should bring down the Range Rover name any further than the Evoque. That's already a fairly weak entry for the brand.
  24. BUT IT'S THE SAME!
