  1. The vehicles themselves have received fantastic updates both inside and under the hoods but they pulled a Toyota and made drastic styling changes just to make styling changes, I feel. i don't feel like they added "character" as much as just making absurd lines and cuts that don't mesh with..anything..
  2. Yeah, I agree. But if we're no longer their largest market for the car, it's understandable. If they're pumping them out for the Asian market it makes more sense to make it there and import it here.
  3. I didn't click the link but I have a feeling that's the Tacoma being pulled back by the FJ? I'm no off-road specialist but I'm not sure why he was still being pulled AND I read that he shouldn't have had his rear end locked at that point.
  4. Wow, that's impressive that they plan to have vehicles on the road here in a year from now.
  5. I don't know what's going on over at Chevy but everything they've released looks worse than what they have out right now. The Malibu and Cruze less so but the Silverado and Camaro look so much worse. What the hell, Chevy?!? I'm almost always in favor of the newest versions of things but these Chevys aren't doing it for me.
  6. It's slated to be built in China. 2019 Ford Focus Reveal
  7. Hmmm interesting... I didn't realize that about the Trax. I never really looked at any of these super tiny CUVs other than a glace, really. I just thought they were all about the same. Agreed with the Tahoe/Suburban/Expedition. I don't think I'd really care and it is easily close enough to require a test drive comparison. The Bolt/3 I can't argue with you. I just don't like the Bolt's C-Max style body that isn't car nor CUV and is stuck in purgatory. But it being a Chevy over a Tesla really would have a MUCH better dealership/company backing. Hahaha How'd I forget the Camaro on the day the 2019 is shown?!?! Yeah the 2019 looks much worse than the 2016-2018 so that'd be an easy Mustang for me. The current gens are much close and are again a tossup like the Tahoe/Expedition. You can't go wrong with either.
  8. I'm actually going to go through their lineup and see what I'd buy over their stuff without thinking too much... Spark - What is a super sub compact? If I'm driving one of these there is no choice to buy anything else... Sonic - Sonic Cruze - Golf/Mazda 3 Malibu - Accord Impala - Avalon Trax - CX-3 Equinox - CX-5 Traverse - Edge/JGC Tahoe - This would be a good comparison to drive back to back with the Expedition. I really don't know which I'd prefer in this class of 2. Suburban - Same as above. Volt - Volt Bolt - Model 3..? Corvette - At it's entry price it seems like a bargain and I'd take it but as a loaded up 100k Z06 I think I'd prefer something else like an F-Type Coupe, 911, or entry AMG GT. But I guess when I stop and think of a 60k base Vette I'd prefer a ZL1 or whatever comparable Shelby is out there too.
  9. My GM purchase would definitely be a truck. Nothing else really does it for me over the competition. I enjoy Caddys a lot but I don't think I'd buy one over a Mercedes if I were actually spending my own cash.
  10. The one I saw was on a Facebook group and it was the SS, not the above pictured one. I'll try and save it and post it here. This is what I was talking about, @Drew Dowdell
  11. I do know that, personally, I'd rather the 2.0T than the V6. I just think it would be a little more fun modifying the small turbo motor.
  12. Hard to believe there is that much demand for this trim with this engine but I guess if they can just drop the 2.0T in the v6 1LE and charge more for something they already have the engineering done for, why not?
  13. This just looks so much worse than what they currently have... I've already seen a photoshop job where they used body color for the black grille area and it looks much better. The bow tie on the bumper instead of the grille looks turrible.
  14. 2019 Camaro refresh is out and it looks worse, imo.
  15. Motorcycles are a wonderful thing. It might sound cliche but there is no other feeling of freedom than when you're just riding along on a motorcycle out on some open roads.
  16. Luckily there's an easy fix.. Don't buy a Malibu with the 1.5 next time. Also, make sure you take it for a good test drive because that also would have prevented this.
  17. The CVT thing is a little confusing to me as they already have development costs wrapped up into a 9spd.
  18. Naked sport bikes are the sweet spot in the motorcycle world. I absolutely LOVE them. There are so many of them now too. It used to just be a Ducati Monster or a Triumph Speed Triple. Not each brand has at least 1 or 2 and Ducati's entire lineup is naked sport bikes! Depends. Some people, like myself, feel more at home on a bike like that. I feel completely out of control on a typical cruiser with my feet out front. I'm also shorter to my on a crotch rocket isn't all cramped up like you would be on the same bike. The sweet spot, imo, is the naked sport bikes. They have actual handle bars and no clip ons and you sit up a little higher and they usually have foot controls a little lower as well so your legs are stretched out a little more as well.
  19. Nine R T? Or something along those lines? I love it. I finally convinced my dad to buy a BMW. He's wanted one all his life and last year he was just throwing the idea of a new bike(he had been on a Honda ST1300 since 05) and I said what about the BMW you've always wanted. Without even looking he said it cost too much blah blah blah.. I just grabbed my phone and checked some prices real quick and showed him and it peaked his interest like "No way? That's not out of reason at all". I told him to just finall buy exactly what you want because if you don't, you'll still always say "I want a BMW motorcycle some day". Two or three weeks later he test drove one and a week after he picked up his BMW F800 GT. It isn't the prettiest thing to me but he loves it. I think he puts around 5000 miles a year on his bikes as he commutes on it in the summer(only a 6 mile round trip to work). His doesn't have the center bag, yet. I'm sure he will eventually get one if my mom wants to ride on the back again.
  20. WEEEEEAAAKKK!!! They're built to ride not trailer! lol What kind of bike do you have anyway?
  21. Volt powertrain should be in like 5 vehicles at this point. I hated the first gen too though.. just something about it. Actually, exactly what Drew said about it is why.
  22. Sadly, I think that's just a sign of the times now... Modern crash standards and styling leave massive blind spots and sadly(again) blind spot monitors or the little extra angled mirrors within the mirror are almost necessary. My escape had a terrible blind spot because the size of the tiny furthest window and most of the CUVs are like that.
  23. Yeah, that's a significant amount of weight. Thanks!
  24. CT6. Just carry the family in class. Find a used one for like 35-45k... Don't worry about the motorcycle just drive it everywhere lol CT6 V6 AWD CT6 3.0TT AWD
