I like that there is a little more body color and a little less crappy plastic.

So they "theoretically" beat them even though they haven't actually done it..

GMC News: 2019 GMC Sierra Gains More Style With Elevation

I don't like the name but it's a good looking truck. -
It seems stupid for every company NOT to be investing like this. Most every new platform should have this level of engineering because it has to pay off being that flexible. I guess I just assumed with a new Gorgio platform that it would have been similarly flexible. That's interesting to know...

BMW News: 2019 BMW X5 Gains A Bigger Grille, Slightly Larger
ccap41 replied to William Maley's topic in BMW
I'd drive this. Yet they've evolved it just enough to look modern the entire time. ?? -
Regardless of all of that, that still covers the JGC-sized vehicle and down to Golfs.

Doesn't VW use the same platform for a very wide range of vehicle sizes?

This is the best looking "coupe" SUV, so far...because it doesn't look like a "coupe" in a good way.

Oh nooooo we're no longer the good guy trying to help everybody out? ?

I know you didn't but I think that was in the press release that it was too small for a Charger/300 sized vehicle.

Okay, yeah that's quite a big difference in size then. Thanks! It sucks the Guilia platform can't be stretched like Alpha can over at GM for ATS to CTS. CTS seems like a pretty large car that would be great size-wise for a Charger.

Is it really that much smaller of a car? I didn't realize how small the Guilia was.

If the source wasn't Jalopnik, probably.

I'm still rocking a 6(non-s). I have had my battery replaced twice now for ~$50 each time(2nd one they replaced for free because they saw it was their battery but regardless I was willing to pay it) and it makes it a brand new phone again. It was definitely worth it to buy some time until you want to drop the cash on a new phone.

Fiat News: FCA's 5-Year Briefing To Not Feature Chrysler, Dodge, or Fiat
ccap41 replied to William Maley's topic in Fiat
Personally, I'd keep Alfa around and if they can't also keep Maserati around then move Alfa onto those platforms as higher end cars as well. Then Alfa could be a full luxury line from the Giulia to whatever high end Maserati is out. I think having a luxury line will help them once they really sort things out. As much as some don't really like Alfa Romeo they're a good brand to keep as a whole for a luxury line with the Giula getting great compliments from professional reviewers.- 17 replies

If they are priced the same, I think I'd only really want the Charger because I would see myself with some aftermarket exhaust and a louder 300 seems trashy but an equally loud Charger seems to fit. FWIW, I wouldn't do anything obnoxious, likely a Borla/Flowmaster/Magnaflow cat-back.

To me, the threat of ban sounds more like he is trying to get our tariff lowered as opposed to raising theirs. IMO, because everybody raising prices doesn't really help but if ours got lowered from 10% to match theirs at 2.5%..1: they would still sell here which is a good thing and 2: our sales to them would likely increase as prices to consumers over there would decrease with a lower tax which would still help our overall economy.

I'd love a 5.7 300 or Charger. I think it would be difficult to buy a 300 over a Charger though. There doesn't seem to be a large enough gap in "niceness" for a 300.

I know a flat/regular panel isn't that bad but we'd be talking about all this curvature and fitment that goes into a body panel. I know $10,000 was an exaggeration but I'd still have to believe they'd be hella more expensive than a steel or aluminum body panel. Or even carbon fiber. Yeah, that's stupid.
-
Solar panel body... sounds like a fender bender would total that thing out. Door ding, loses 18% of range and costs $10,000 to replace.
