  1. With a post-purchase modification. From GM or not. That's like saying the EcoBoost Mustangs are 335hp and 390 lb-ft with the Ford Performance tune for only $699. Depending what you want to believe from Ford... They're still only FWD, right? They already probably have some trick system to get power down but upping that more they're going to have to re-configure that out too.
  2. CLA45? 355hp/332 lb-ft. Everything else you said is probably spot on but there is no simpler engines being made anymore. Everything is more and more complex.. you even mentioned the ability to run on 2cyl..lol
  3. I think it's been a few years at this point too. They just haven't changed anything in a long time. Even their fun/toy cars are pretty "meh".
  4. I like it the most of the 3.
  5. Pretty awesome it will have variable compression. That sounds pretty high tech! I still don't think it looks very good...
  6. I guess, where do the Taco and Canyonado stand in regards to that as well? Ehhhh I guess the taillights do but they just seem way more appropriate on a car or SUV and not a truck where they’re supposed to be durable and I don’t see a light strip like that taking much abuse. The Charger/Durango pull it off perfect, IMO.
  7. This is 5 inches longer than the shortest f150 so it really isn’t that far off of the full size crowd
  8. I'm very impressed with how it looks considering it isn't BOF. When i first saw it, and it didn't have goofy proportions, I assumed it was BOF. That means it would actually drive and handle pretty damn well too.
  9. I'm totally okay with the way the bed and cab are joined. I think it works for a truck. I sure hope that goes away for any form of production vehicle(LED lighting).
  10. I pretty much love everything about it except the ridiculous cross-body LED lighting front and rear. Simplify that and it'd be golden.
  11. Why would they update already if sales are that great? Why not hold off a year or two(or even 3!) and just rake in the cash to put towards other development because they sell so damn well.
  12. They have the Nautilus/Edge as a 2-row, 5 passenger above the MKC and below the Navigator and this will be the Explorer to the Expedition in the Lincoln lineup.
  13. Hahaha i barely read this one at all because I read something elsewhere.. They probably said it there as well that I managed to read over.
  14. Vehicle looks great. It's exciting to hear about a plug-in hybrid, because that's my current favorite hybrid/EV design. Did I hear that correctly? REAR WHEEL DRIVE??? @Drew Dowdell is this a new platform or...? I guess while i tagged you and speaking of platforms.. any idea when the new Ford modular platform is supposed to be a thing? CD8, I think?
  15. Right???? Seems a little odd. I mean I can visually see a little difference in rear seat leg room(assuming both front seats have the same space as well).
  16. If Drew can see over the roof easily and there are less cargo capacity than a Golf it's hard to believe it's any larger than an MKC. I mean I know the dimensions are larger it just seems odd.
  17. Wow, that's definitely smaller than I would have thought. I originally thought this was more Edge/JGC-sized but I guess that's what the XT5 is.
  18. After reading what you guys have said, is this like MKC-sized then? It seems priced about that way.
  19. Good looking vehicle! I just wish they didn't show it in burnt orange, lol. I don't understand the angle of the infotainment screen though. that looks like it would be atrocious on a sunny day.
  20. Yeah because most people aren't stopping who saw what happened so it's to easy to turn into a sloppy he-said she-said affair. I got lucky with my accident that somebody stopped and said they saw everything that happened otherwise she could ave easily just said I blew the red light.
  21. I use one and so does @cp-the-nerd. We both have the Spytec A119. Yeah that's pretty much why I bought min, cheap insurance.
  22. WTF is wrong with us? Aren't we supposed to hate Korean "junk" cars?!? (I'd gladly trade my Focus hatch for the Elantra GT Hatch or whatever that trim/model is called with the 201hp and 7spd)
  23. I can honestly say, I think Hyundai might make the most attractive lineup from top to bottom. None of them are the most pretty but I think none of them are near the bottom of their respective classes.
  24. And when I receive great service even if I'm not making a purchase that day, I recommend that place and/or person. I did it just a few months ago when looking at kitchen appliances the gf and I received remarkable service even though we told him up front we aren't quite ready but we need to know a ballpark number we're going to spend and what we want out of said appliances. The gentleman treated us incredibly well and when a friend of mine was shopping for a refrigerator I told him about the place we went and how helpful the guy was(Dean) and they went there and bought a refrigerator from them. People can be too short sighted to realize how far customer service can go even when a purchase isn't going to be made that day. Hamburger, every time.
