  1. Yeah.. that part sucks because its basically an E90, which is awesome, but you lose a lot of the newer technology.
  2. Most employees at Tesla worked at car companies as well and they still have issues. Less range, same money. Why would that be considered then?
  3. There's just as much chrome on the new ones. I took pictures of one in our garage at work yesterday and everything that isn't body color is chrome. No, thank you.
  4. I'd want this if they kept it as a hatch. Tiny sedan? Pass.
  5. Yeah, I'm not saying this is any better. That looks like sh!t too. The Escalade just screams blingy to me though.
  6. This is close enough to call it a chrome mirror.. This was what I saw the other day. It wasn't the ESV but chrome pieces everywhere. I dig the new illuminated handles! And, that GLS handle doesn't look like chrome but satin like the new Escalade handle. F*****G chrome mirrors. Personally, I hate those. Body color all day, every day. Black is good as long as it is painted black and not just unpainted plastic. Chrome just looks so cheap to me. Granted, when they're kept minty clean they don't look terrible but more often than not they just look like dirty mirrors.
  7. The door handles throw it way over the top. The grille and wheels isn't terrible. Oh, I also cannot stand the mirror covers that come stock on some of those GMs.
  8. I saw a bone stock blinged out Escalade today. Chrome wheels, chrome grille, chrome door handles.. all stock.
  9. Well why would we go from talking about a 2018 BMW to referencing 1980's Cadillac interiors? Explain the logic behind that, please. Unless it is simply to troll smk, it doesn't make any sense.

I'd agree outside of 6.2L AMGs, but those aren't in production anymore.. well.. neither is the SS..
  11. That's 30 ears ago. I'd wager there's <1% of workers at either company that's been with them since the 80's. Nobody working at Mercedes is bench marking a Cadillac interior right now or the last 15 years, minimum.
  12. 100 and 300 mile ranges? I don't think they're exactly going after the same market as the 500 mile range Tesla. I'd also assume Tesla has a much larger support network across the country for both service and charging. Depending on their prices, I'd take the Tesla pretty easily.

I'm not sure if I worded that correctly. I like the E46 and E90. I didn't like the 5 Series until the generation following the op, E60.

E46 and E90 and the 5 Series didn't do anything for me until the next generation from the op, E60.
  15. lol I don't think Mercedes bench marked Cadillac interiors..

That's pretty easy for me. I'd take the SS all day. I just never found that generation of BMWs to be very attractive.
  17. See, I just don't like the rear overhang on wagons. If they were cut short by just a foot(or even like 8 inches) and they looked more like a "conventional" hatchback, I would love them. Instead, the added length just looks boring and unattractive.
  18. Right?!?! I couldn't believe the review I read that said it was like 39XX lbs. I'll try and find it again. That was easy... C/D X1 xDrive 35i test
  19. Yeahhhh.. but it's a tiny CUV which is just odd to me. I either want car-like or at least a little larger CUV. X1's are small. Something even smaller than that is ridiculous. This all came to mind two weeks ago when an X1 passed me on the interstate and I was amazed at how tall it WASN'T. Then I looked them up and it is only 3 inches taller than my Focus hatch. So if I lowered it a bit.. boom, hot hatch! It'd be a tad larger, more power, great chassis.. but they weigh like 3900lbs LOL.
  20. This is pretty random of myself but lately I've been wanting an X1 xDrive35i and to lower it. It would basically be a hot hatch with 300hp and AWD working on the last great 3 Series chassis, E90.
