Cadillac News: 2019 Cadillac ATS To Only Be Offered As Coupe, CT6 to Drop 2.0T
Yeah, I'm not saying this is any better. That looks like sh!t too. The Escalade just screams blingy to me though.

This is close enough to call it a chrome mirror.. This was what I saw the other day. It wasn't the ESV but chrome pieces everywhere. I dig the new illuminated handles! And, that GLS handle doesn't look like chrome but satin like the new Escalade handle. F*****G chrome mirrors. Personally, I hate those. Body color all day, every day. Black is good as long as it is painted black and not just unpainted plastic. Chrome just looks so cheap to me. Granted, when they're kept minty clean they don't look terrible but more often than not they just look like dirty mirrors.

The door handles throw it way over the top. The grille and wheels isn't terrible. Oh, I also cannot stand the mirror covers that come stock on some of those GMs.

I saw a bone stock blinged out Escalade today. Chrome wheels, chrome grille, chrome door handles.. all stock.

Well why would we go from talking about a 2018 BMW to referencing 1980's Cadillac interiors? Explain the logic behind that, please. Unless it is simply to troll smk, it doesn't make any sense.

e39 M5 Vs Chevy SS
I'd agree outside of 6.2L AMGs, but those aren't in production anymore.. well.. neither is the SS..

That's 30 ears ago. I'd wager there's <1% of workers at either company that's been with them since the 80's. Nobody working at Mercedes is bench marking a Cadillac interior right now or the last 15 years, minimum.

e39 M5 Vs Chevy SS
I'm not sure if I worded that correctly. I like the E46 and E90. I didn't like the 5 Series until the generation following the op, E60.

E46 and E90 and the 5 Series didn't do anything for me until the next generation from the op, E60.

lol I don't think Mercedes bench marked Cadillac interiors..

e39 M5 Vs Chevy SS
That's pretty easy for me. I'd take the SS all day. I just never found that generation of BMWs to be very attractive.

See, I just don't like the rear overhang on wagons. If they were cut short by just a foot(or even like 8 inches) and they looked more like a "conventional" hatchback, I would love them. Instead, the added length just looks boring and unattractive.- Detroit Preview: 2018 BMW X2: Comments

What can I say, I love hot hatches!- Detroit Preview: 2018 BMW X2: Comments
Right?!?! I couldn't believe the review I read that said it was like 39XX lbs. I'll try and find it again. That was easy... C/D X1 xDrive 35i test- Detroit Preview: 2018 BMW X2: Comments
Yeahhhh.. but it's a tiny CUV which is just odd to me. I either want car-like or at least a little larger CUV. X1's are small. Something even smaller than that is ridiculous. This all came to mind two weeks ago when an X1 passed me on the interstate and I was amazed at how tall it WASN'T. Then I looked them up and it is only 3 inches taller than my Focus hatch. So if I lowered it a bit.. boom, hot hatch! It'd be a tad larger, more power, great chassis.. but they weigh like 3900lbs LOL.- Detroit Preview: 2018 BMW X2: Comments
This is pretty random of myself but lately I've been wanting an X1 xDrive35i and to lower it. It would basically be a hot hatch with 300hp and AWD working on the last great 3 Series chassis, E90.- Cadillac News: 2019 Cadillac ATS To Only Be Offered As Coupe, CT6 to Drop 2.0T
They sure can pass those other two up. They just have to start with the small things. Start by making the most reliable vehicle, hands down. Do what Toyota and Honda have done and build a reputation for being indestructible. They can then go from there. They know how to make a car handle with the best, if not THE best. They have engines to hang with the best, albeit their middle tier isn't really the greatest in comparison but they're getting there with the 3.0TT. They have the money and resources to make the best interiors, they just haven't yet. If they're going to price their stuff along side the Germans they better do everything at the very least, as good as the Germans. Get rid of the old man XTS also. That rental car doesn't help their image at all.- Chevy Camaro, EV, Hybrid, What do you think? Discuss!
I'd prefer ICE only but that isn't exactly the most realistic thing to ask. As for adding electricity to its propulsion.. I think a full on EV would be best. Do it like a Tesla and make it performance oriented. Don't do it for efficiency's sake. If they're going to put electricity into a sports car the best way to get the point to the people that electricity rocks is to make it quick as sh!t.- Chevrolet News:Chevrolet Unveils the 2019 Chevrolet Silverado
Better than the Chevy but worse than their current Sierra. That's also just some rendering, right? That's not official? - Detroit Preview: 2018 BMW X2: Comments
