  1. Probably a decent amount more.. Thank the EPA for all of that as it makes them more slippery.
  2. The new one looks sooooo much better!
  3. I noticed you only picked a part of that sentence to use.. If you used it all it would make more sense. "Polestar 1 bridges today’s technology with the future, offering the perfect drivetrain for a Grand Touring Coupé that's likely to be used over longer distances as well as shorter, faster, enjoyable journeys,”" I think this concept looks great. I'm also a huge fan of the hybrid powertrain. Sounds like it could be a pretty gnarly car while wearing a suit, unlike the above ZL1 which does it with cut off sleeves and tattoos sticking out.
  4. Seems like a fairly conservative tune as it seems to be a "canned" tune but a simple air filter and tube change and a cat-back exhaust had some pretty awesome gains. 37whp and 46wtq gains along with 2.66mpg increase. http://www.trucktrend.com/how-to/expert-advice/2014-2016-ram-1500-ecodiesel-power-and-mpg-upgrades/
  5. What kind of gains can be had with an aftermarket tune on these guys? With it being a turbo diesel I assume there are some pretty stupid gains. I bet a tuned Ram 1500 diesel is a pretty kick ass daily driver.
  6. I'd seriously consider a GLI, again. Especially if it grows a tad, like most every car does these days from generation to generation.
  7. I think either IL or MO enacted an "E-DUI" recently that covers distracted driving from phones or whatnot. I actually really like the new setting on my iPhone that it senses when I'm in a car and it won't alert me of anything. I can turn it off or open it, then confirm I'm not driving, to use it if I have to or if I'm not the one driving though. Then all of my calls and texts can go through my car anyway. Okay, I guess I was wrong and it is Washington that has the E-DUI. I guess Illinois is considering it though.
  8. Awesome! What do you have? After my accident and getting lucky I had a witness I was like "Damn, this could have easily been a he-said, she-said situation" had one guy not stopped and said he saw everything. I definitely bought it for my own insurance and at $100 it was cheap insurance. There are definitely cheaper(and way more pricey) out there.
  9. I'd highly suggest a dash cam so you have proof. I didn't realize my time stamp was off until I loaded that video. I'd hate for something like that to bite me in the ass. You never know if anybody is willing to stop and tell the officer what happened. But absolutely, I don't see it THIS bad very often at all. I may sound like a cranky old man but it's tempting to send it to my local PD. I'm not sure if they could or even would do anything about it but when it's this blatantly obvious it pisses me off, big time.
  10. Oh definitely! I don't mind ppl going through while it changes.. it happens. It's HOW LATE he was that pissed me off. After my accident I tend to pay a little more attention to the left and right traffic for this exact thing. Had that silver truck started driving when the light turned green, or myself, there would have almost guaranteed been an accident. I also drive a Focus.. I can't be too fast off the line. Hahaha
  11. Ever encounter one of these asshats? I hate'm. 2017_0730_102511_846-1.mp4
  12. $34.15/hr to work on an assembly line? Reason number 1 I don't like unions.
  13. Yeah welcome to modern n/a V6's... That's basically just what they're like in comparison to turbo 4s and V8s, let alone tubo V8s.
  14. I wonder if/when the Tacoma will take over these power numbers with that 8spd. it could desperately use both that hp/tq tune and 8spd(although more tq would be better yet). Heck, even the hybrid system would be great for it. I wonder who will be the first to throw a hybrid system in their mid size trucks.
  15. That's why I asked if it was intercooled. That should be keeping intake temperatures in check.
  16. If it benefited that much from 91+ octane they would put that as the requirement, or 89. It's about timing and with programming these days the computer will pull and retard timing as required regardless. Is there no intercooler?
  17. To waste money..lol
  18. ERRMAHHGERRRDDD Hank got $4 worth of electricity and I didn't get anything! Give me more things! Sounds more like the employees are a bunch of whiny bitches. If they have a problem with somebody else driving an EV and getting EV benefits..go by a damn EV. If an EV doesn't suit your requirements then deal with it. Bingo. All their "fairness" only hurts the harder working individuals. Working hard doesn't get rewarded but doing minimum requirements gets overpaid.
  19. It's brand new though so a product cycle of close to 10 years is pretty possible.. But I agree that they'll be looking to GTFO of there.
  20. All of those and the Silverado isn't built here? THE volume model.
  21. The original CLS is still the prettiest and set a stage for almost every mid-size sedan on the market with the coupe-sedan body style. MB literally built a new class with this car. I know even know what that class really is as it's in the middle of an E and S Class(A6 and A8, 5 Series and 7 Series). I honestly only care how this car looks because i know it'll be as badass as the E Class performance variants.
  22. Those new anniversary editions look AWESOME!
  23. I think you might have missed that I did say they aren't practical for everybody. I didn't say they weren't practical for everybody. Some people, they're great. Some, not so much.
