  1. So nothing under like...70-80k..? And I bet the C, 3/4, and ATS are way too small for a 6'6" human so now we're talking 100k+ for an E, 5/6, CTS in their respective performance variants. So.. yes,, we're all impressed with 100k cars. Haha Nope. I haven't seen one at my local GM store... They're probably a fairly tough sell still here where I'm at. On the other side of the river(STL) they probably do much better as the overall infrastructure is better than southern IL.
  2. Have you driven any car and been impressed with them that aren't EVs?
  3. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but I tried to build a Corolla and I picked the highest trim package and there was almost nothing of substance other than adding things like a cargo net, different floor mats, etc. and it's under 23k. It is pretty cool they offer some TRD stuff for it so I'd assume that'd all be covered under warranty. They offer lowering springs, high flow air filter(K&N-like), exhaust, and a sway bar. That's pretty cool, if I'm being honest.
  4. First person who says "yes"(or any variation) gets my downvote for the day. You're welcome.
  5. I'm mostly surprised MB didn't make the cut somewhere.
  6. Damn, she's wound up pretty tight then! 4.10's is definitely shorter than you'd want cruising. Personally, I'm not sure if I'd want to go as tall as 2.73 but it all depends what your goals with the car are. It's obviously a toy to economy aren't a concern. What RPM is it when cruising at 70mph? Also, looking at what you and balty were talking about(tire sizes) it looks like your 275/40R17 rear tires are a good bit shorter than the stock 205/75R15's. That's gearing you down even more. So really, your speedo is just a guestimate right now..hahaha. 27.1inches stock vs 25.6 inches @ 275/40R17. That's significant. She looks absolutely beautiful though!
  7. Even if it is average German parts cost more and its more difficult finding a place to work on them.
  8. I would risk buying the German(known for iffy or at least very pricey repairs) made GTI over the Si(Hondas are known for their reliability - lol ).
  9. If they just axed Fiat and Alfa and placed those vehicles into Dodge and Chrysler(because I think Chrysler could be Buick-like or if given the right resources Lincoln/Acura/Infiniti/Cadillac/etc fighter. because they have RWD and SUV platforms). I also don't think Ram needed to branch off. Ram could have stayed a Dodge Rams and I don't see the point of that. Literally nothing on the vehicles would have to change other than the VIN probably. I feel like that was a waste of money and unnecessary.
  10. Yeah, I know people do this but if they're stupid enough to do that they deserve their $h! to break when they're constantly reaching up there because they're dirty humans. There isn't one single vehicle with stuff on the dash that is also clean.
  11. It would help if the company as a whole didn't blow asshole. I don't want Dodge to go anywhere but they're just not making anything worth buying. The Challenger has a couple high end trims that are gnarly but largely uncompetitive with anything else on the market, the Ram has fallen behind and doesn't it have another year or two until it gets a new model? And the Charger is in the same boat as the Impala that they're in the quickest dying market. FCA needs to consolidate brands some how because having a total of only like 20 vehicles across 5 brands(I'll leave Jeep out of it as they just dominate their market) is hurting them.
  12. lol well if they're that stupid to put stuff behind it they deserve to break their own stuff and be inconvenienced. Who puts things on their dash????
  13. For what it's worth whomever can read this. Fleet sales - March 2017 FCA 23% sales are fleet The other two don't give simple numbers like that. They break it down more and to be honest.. F figuring that out. And the Charger was absolutely NOT purpose built for the police forces. It was later outfitted for that duty because it worked so well. Same reason the old Crown Vics(when they were new and not strictly police cars) were used. They suited the job well enough.
  14. No question I would risk German reliability over the Si.
  15. Yeah that's why a Volt would be about perfect for me. Even the 53 miles of range would leave me using gasoline once a week maaaaybe twice with my commute.
  16. If I'm on an actually long road trip I just want to get there ASAP though. Healthy or not... get me to my damn destination! Ehhhhh.... In the fastest shrinking segment.
  17. Tesla is the only one that charges at extremely fast rates though. All of those other ones double to triple our time waiting. No bueno. Buuuuuut in my real world scenario, I wouldn't need to charge outside of my own home unless I was road tripping. I can't remember the last time I drove more than 200 miles in a single day. I think when I bought my Focus was actually the last time and that was about 95 miles in each direction but I obviously drove more than just there that day.
  18. Coupla things... Yes they're sparce in areas but they've made it a point to be able to cross the country which it appears there are a handful of ways to do that from the map. It isn't perfect but they're adding on every day and expanding their network. According to C/D's year with their P85D the range was much lower than rated, for what it's worth. At least on the interstate only trips. Time isn't all that bad as every couple of hours of driving getting out for 30-45 minutes to charge isn't the worst. But like C/D said, a trip that involves 2-3 stops is fine but any more than that and it gets tedious and that sounds about accurate.
  19. Are people closed fist punching them? How would somebody break them off without trying?
