  1. In smaller vehicles the distance shouldn't be an issue but larger vehicles where there is more space in the vehicle I could see it playing a larger role like the GLS or Nav. But it's just an idea..
  2. Yeah we did not play very well but Allen was a monster in net. A lot of those saves were easy, long, slow shots but 52 is still nuts. Huge win on the road w/ OT though!
  3. I think one reason they're doing the screens separate like they are now is in part so distance to touch it. That screen above looks like it is quite the reach compared so something an inch or so closer. I'd like to talk to one of the designers about that.
  4. I guarantee they will not allow you to do everything while driving. I know I cannot pair a new phone to my car while the car is in D so I doubt they will let you fiddle with seat controls from a screen while moving either. If they do.. it sounds like they're lining themselves up for lawsuits.
  5. Demon, no way. It will likely get the same 200ish range the Tesla gets with that power and I'm assuming a very short rear gear as well because of what it is. Hellcat, easily a good road trip car to be honest. It wouldn't be my first choice if we're getting 70k to spend on a road trip car but that's another story. Uhhh I heard in the past year they expanded their charging stations from like 177 to 355(or somewhere in those ball park numbers). I know they've strategically placed them to make LA to NY trips, if I'm not wrong. I do agree that where I live charging stations make EV not a truly viable option. If I'm buying something like that a Volt is what I'd realistically need.
  6. Those look so terrible... And you'd road trip the Demon?!?! Tesla has a service built in to find their supercharger stations. If you decide to stray that far away from them, that's your own fault. A drag strip special(while insane in its own way) is more of a one trick pony than a family sedan.
  7. Sadly, I have seen that. Very corny video. lol The car is way cooler than that video was.
  8. your point was charge times. I got that. That's a ridiculous comparison.
  9. Definitely! The complete opposite of what I just read about this morning.. 2.0T Jag F-Type. Beautiful car.. but a 2.0T????? Yeah I think it would be cool if they made something that was track-like but because of the platform still kept to its roots of muscle car in one of the following years. It just sucks that they're to handicapped by the weight of this thing.
  10. I didn't even know it had a real definition...lol I haven't liked the new hood or the flares since pictures showed up a month or two ago. I understand they're functional and that part is awesome but they just don't look good to me. The Hellcat's hood looks perfect on that car, IMO.
  11. well, there probably is something illegal about it... I wish the look alone was illegal too though!
  12. My bad, I read lateral acceleration and my brain read lateral grip(weird that they're two very different measurements).
  13. Hahaha WTF kind of race is that? Let's find one that a Challenger will win? That's pathetic if the only race the Challenger will win over a Tesla is a cross country race(Pre-Demon) +1 (Ran out of upvotes already) The Demon? The Veyron? Neither of those are world class in that category.
  14. It's going to be insane. I talked to somebody who was around them dyno-testing it and they had it over 1050whp but they were still breaking things so they were going to have to dial it back. That's freakin' nuts!
  15. This is easy for me as it's kind of the end of an era as cars quickly became electronic this and that. This car wasn't yet. It has traction control, but it sucked. You had to WANT to gain traction for it to really work. 2003-2004 Mustang "Terminator" Cobra Choice number 2 would be easy as well.. C5Z.
  16. I completely agree. I could understand being less knowledgeable about smaller purchases but when we're talking about financing tens of thousands of dollars for YEARS I feel like a salesman who knows what they're actually selling is a very big deal. This isn't a $300 water heater.
  17. Hmmmmm I thought it was an LT1 which is why it was funny but maybe it wasn't. I just remember it being incredibly slow so I guess it couldn't have been the LT1.
  18. That's just not going to happen. They will know 707hp and then spit out rumors of other things like salesmen tend to do as if they're facts. Salesmen are the worst kind of people. A good friend of mine had a 90's Buick Roadmaster with the LT1 as well. That thing wa such a dog for having an LT1. That engine shouldn't have been given the name "LT1" with how underpowered it felt.
  19. I guess with them requiring you to be paying attention at all times... what's the point?
  20. I feel ya on the moving closer.. I'm more thinking of finding a job closer to home. My commute isn't terrible but nearly an hour each way gets old and that time adds up. Similar to you, 10 hours a week just commuting... that sucks.
  21. Ahhhhhh, yeah that'll do it. I live 35 miles from work but 30 of that I'm on a bus.
