  1. Our weather has been all over the place as well the past week. Luckily, not as cold as yours though.
  2. ..Jeez I hate the Impala so much.. The whole "Large mainstream sedan" segment just blows. They're all old and hideous compared to the rest of their respective lineups. Yes. Because there's another Audi on there.
  3. That's what I thought I read as well.
  4. Haha so sell the truck and keep the Bug!
  5. I think he's saying that they SHOULD be more like the VW lineup though.
  6. Just think, "it's all for the ZR2".
  7. Is this a possible reality? Where'd you hear this from?
  8. Understandable. I usually enjoy the low end grunt but the diesel in this case is pretty damn slow. I bet it would be pretty whoop ass of road though, the diesel.
  9. ZR2 would be bad-ass! If money weren't a thing, would you want the diesel or 3.6?
  10. Why's thaaaaat?
  11. Same thing though. If they produced 1000 less units the 100 that got marked down because they didn't sell never would have gotten marked down. (throwing out example numbers). Supply vs Demand. They over supplied the market OR they overpriced their supply OR any combination in between those two.
  12. Sometimes people just want a little niche vehicle in their lives. If they're done correctly and people find value in them, they're worth it. Just like the C AMG Black and the last Z/28(while they must have overproduced those some as last I knew you could find a few brand new/unsold ones yet).
  13. That's 4 or 5 people who got duped into buying them.. What a POS car. Ford needs to update/get rid of that(if it costs them more than they make on it). Then they also need to update/get rid of the MKT. WTF is that vehicle?!? When can we get a decent looking Aviator? How many work vans did your "luxury" brand sell?
  14. I built one to over 101k checking all the boxes but none of those "MB logo center cap"-like crap. Real options. Well, they've built 125k C Classes. WTF, man? And ya know what? They sold because they were great. This ZL1 would very likely spank that C AMG Black in every performance metric as well, for half the price.
  15. That's absolutely one of mah dream cars.
  16. Damn, I completely read over that after I read DOHC and 4v/cyl. I'd credit you with a nice catch but it was more me just being an asshat w/ poor reading skills LOL
  17. Flat Plane Crank? Where'd you hear this...? Or are you trolling...?
  18. Doesn't the C Class start in the 30's ad run over 100,000 and they've had Black Series and "S" models to the AMGs which add tens of thousands on top. The Black Series in 2012 MSRP'd for 125k. Go on about the peasant model adding ridiculous shet to raise the price over 100k. Personally, I dig the G Wagen because of its off-road capability is pretty insane for a factory vehicle. As long as you can deal with wind noise, it's great.
  19. I guess I just don't see the brand as a whole as luxury or mid luxury because they still sell basic work trucks and their low tier Acadias and Terrains still get cloth seating. Now the Danalis are a whole 'nother story. Those are like the Platinum Fords and are very luxurious. Depends what you value in a vehicle to say if they're overpriced. Size, space, quietness over speed and athleticism? I will be glad when they finally change over their switchgear to Lincoln only switchgear like they did in the Continental. I think that will make the brand stand a lone much better.
  20. I think you're forgetting that they make this gloriously American muscle car called the Hellcat.
  21. Not everything SHOULD require training though. If you're buying an EV and don't know how to use the internet... you likely shouldn't be buying an EV as you likely will not grasp some of the concepts regardless of an hour training session from a salesman.
  22. GMC isn't luxury though. Denali is.
  23. They, unlike you and I, get a opportunity to use every system on the market and often. One shouldn't need training on how to use their car. You don't get training how to use your phone or computer, right? Because their design is much better, they make more sense.
  24. I've never been all googly-eyed over MFT because...it wasn't that great. It was extremely laggy in comparison to others. So if you can find me going all googly eyed over MFT I'd like to know where that was. CUE is better than MFT but it isn't better than Sync3. If I hadn't had an opportunity to use CUE first hand I wouldn't have knocked it or continue to knock how I have. I think fake buttons where real buttons should be just sucks. I don't like that. Most people don't like it apparently. When have I ever knocked CUE when talking performance? I don't bring up CUE out of nowhere. You may call me a fanboy but I'm way less biased than you are. I at least can admit when Ford doesn't do something right or something they make blows. Maybe you're little biased self doesn't remember but I PRAISED the Cadillac on the 24hr win, I was excited when they announced that CADILLAC was going to be the racing brand in the Daytona Prototype class this year. I've also expressed my experience with the CT6 here as well. I fckn loved it. I thought it was great. I thought the way you could navigate the touch screen without having to reach and touch it with the "laptop pad" was awesome. But you wouldn't remember that because I praised it. I find it quite telling of your lack of character when you have to tell somebody to kill themselves because they don't think one aspect of a GM car is up to par, because it isn't. Pathetic.
