Wouldn't it be more Cherokee..? Yes, this is Cherokee sized wow, the photo makes it look smaller than the Cherokee. Cool info, Thanks Yeah, I thought it was larger because the current one is the smallest of the escape/crv/cx5/etc... and it said it grew a little so it is probably much more comparable now, not that it was that much smaller before.

Yes, I know he isn't the cleanest player in the league. I acknowledged that already, nor was the hit. And unless you show something that is more clear than the picture and slow motion video showing the majority of the blow was shoulder to Brown's head then you're wrong... Show some clearer proof of helmet to helmet. Seriously, I'm not trying to be a dick. I just don't see the helmet to helmet hit. If I'm missing something I'll say you're right but just saying I am wrong isn't proof that he hit him with the crown of his helmet like the Ryan Shazier hit.
-
Look at that picture, you can clearly see they are staggered. It is very much debatable unless you have a picture that shows the helmet to helmet contact, which, I'm not saying didn't happen. I'm saying the serious blow to the head came from his shoulder. http://www.cougarboard.com/board/message.html?id=15272432 The link on that page has it slowed down..somewhat.. Not as much as I'd like but I'm having a tough time finding one really slowed down.
-
It was WAAAAAAY more shoulder than helmet. I don't think Burfict's helmet actually made contact with Brown. Okay, looking at replays it's super tough to tell but he didn't lower the crown of his helmet into Brown, dirty, yes. I still don't think it is AS dirty as the hit on Bernard. That's just my opinion on it though. You can see that if there was helmet to helmet contact it was a scrape and not a crown of the helmet to the receiver. It was nearly all shoulder that did the damage, still illegal. I just want to clarify that I know it is an illegal hit but I think the other play was actually dirtier.
-
I hope you're not talking about this hit. http://www.si.com/nfl/2016/01/09/giovani-bernard-hard-hit-steelers-bengals-video Leading with the crown of your helmet is not legal. This didn't get called as it was a RB not a WR but it was still a penalty that was not called and as dirty(dirtier - IMO) of a hit as the Burfict play. Burfict didn't lead with his helmet to hit Brown.

Saw my first wild Tacoma! I couldn't get a frontal pic as I started moving...

Sorry for your loss, bud.

For 20k you get a supercharger and intercooler.. and a keyshain? I understand a warranty comes with it but that's a lot of coin for a supercharger and an intercooler.

It's "okay" looking to me. 400hp, yes please. There is just something that isn't "killin' it" for me and I'm not sure what it is. Maybe it's that it still just looks too concept-like to me and not like something that we would actually see on the roads.

Looks good, for a mini van. LOVE that they will have a plug-in hybrid! I feel like this class of vehicles needs it as much as any in order to keep people buying them. Because people who buy large SUVs realistically would be suited better in a van with and with a good mpg advantage this should help them steal some SUV sales. Up to a 30 mile range sounds fantastic! Why leave the Town and Country name after all these years?

Industry News: BMW Takes the Luxury Crown For 2015 in the U.S.

And premium trimmed Ford cars, trucks and SUV's outsell Buick and GMC combined. Easily.Congrats to BMW. Well deserved. Titanium/Platinum as a trim does not necessarily a premium trim make. On the F150s and Explorer, yes. On the Fusion, Focus, Escape, and Edge etc, the distinction is far far less clear. Its translucent... No.. Opaque. Put a Titanium Fusion, hell put a Fusion made of titanium next to a normal Fusion, and I'd be hard pressed to tell yourself why U spent the extra coin. Buick? There is a level of cache attached to it. Ford Titanium? Not at all.I agree that the name Titanium has no cache at all but place a titanium fusion next to a base fusion and it's very obvious. I do feel like they are watering down the name "titanium". For instance, 2013 Escape titaniums pretty much came with everything including the largest wheels and engine. Get a titanium, get the big engine and wheels standard along with all sorts of other options. Jump ahead and the 19's and 2.0t are options on Titanium trimmed Escapes. I don't like that. -
2016 Chevrolet Malibu 1LT 1.5 (update 2) HYBRID, 2.0 2LT

That's an off-site. Trifecta is http://www.wot-tuning.com/forums/page/index.html TRIFECTA: +44 WHP and +51 ft-lbs on Chevrolet Cruze 1.4T MY2011-2015 Considered them for my Impala and then decided that I had enough power on tap to get me into trouble. Specifications of the TRIFECTA Performance Chevrolet Impala MY2014+ 3.6 LFX ECM software reprogramming: -Gains of +14 ft-lbs and +20 WHP under the curve (and +14 ft-lbs and +16 WHP peak on 91 octane) -Powertrain calibration has been tested and validated for various environments, such as cold/heat, elevation, and variations in fuel quality -Power feels linear and immediately responsive (improved drivability and throttle attentiveness) -Retains all GM OE diagnostics and ECM functionality -Retains all OE error code reporting and functionality -Emissions readiness checks are present; emissions compliant -Maintains functionality of ABS and TC systems -Knock detection mechanisms and OE engine knock detection sensitivity is retained -The TRIFECTA flash loader and Transparency featureset does not increment the ECM write counter or increment entries in the flash history -Return to stock functionality included with flash loader Can the gains for the Regal 2.0 be expected on the Verano 2.0 as well? I couldn't find any numbers for the Verano but if that were the case the Verano Turbo would be one dang quick car. The Verano uses the first gen 2.0T, so it's a different tune, but yes, the Verano can make 300+ hp and torque. There's something about that car that I really like. I'd need to see one in person to actually grasp the size. I'm afraid it would be a little too small for my liking. But, I dig the classy yet sporty-ness of it. So that has the same engine my friend's HHR SS has then, right? -

A tuner called Trifecta has tunes for every engine of the Malibu from 2008 through 2015 (except for the hybrids). I'm sure they're already trying to get their hands on a new Malibu to be first on the market. They also tune the Sonic and Cruze. Do you have a link to that? The ones I'm finding in google only support the Cadillacs. That's an off-site. Bugatti Chiron Rumored To Be Expensive. Also, Fast.

True, I guess I also threw in SUVs up to suburban/expedition size in my head. I probably should have clarified that. -

ccap41 replied to regfootball's topic in Reader Reviews
No it does not yet have aftermarket goodies, but it's inevitable. Every other GM turbo has brand name tunes available and an unlocked ECU for private tuners. I bet the performance goodies will blow up once it's in the Cruze and other vehicles. Just one regular family sedan won't have too many aftermarket complained with knocks on their door asking for exhaust or intakes.. But it's inevitable that they will use the 1.5 in a handful of vehicles. If people get lucky it could be the performance SS option in the Sonic. That's help the aftermarket option! -

An easy way to justify the cost of a brand new one would be "investment". I have to believe a car like this would appreciate in value if you only drive it a few times a year to make sure it gets driven and parts moved. But what car over 300hp ISN'T overkill? Once you pass 300hp everything is overkill. Even up to 300hp isn't necessary. -

It's still a prestigious thing to hold the fastest production top speed mark. Can other auto makers do it? Yup. Can they so it with the class the Veryon has? Doubtful. I mean the next closest cars are all race cars with everything stripped from them. That is what really impresses me. Is that they kept a full interior with all leather and aluminum not rock hard carbon buckets, a tach, and a momo steering wheel. I agree that most are chasing a magical lap time, as if anybody can match that who buys most of the cars anyway, but the best at that are also stripped out street cars that sacrifice interiors for lap times. No other car close to this performance level can touch this interior. Yes there is the P1, 918, and LaFerrari but those are brand new and north of $1,000,000 as well and if you look at pics of those 3 none of them look like they can hold a candle to the Veyron's interior as well. Getting a 4600lb car to 260mph is "excellence in engineering" at its finest. Personal opinion is it is still ugly from any angle to me. So I would save the money and buy something I find much better looking even if it has less performance. See, I can understand that. Looks are one thing but to say it is irrelevant with that the car has brought to the car-game just doesn't seem accurate to me. Yes, the comment was directed towards top speed but what brings a vehicle top speed has a lot to do with load bearing materials, flexing, and aero study out the ass. All stuff that goes into other track cars. The aero work that goes into a car attempting 290 mph will have more an effect on our daily drivers(in the long run) than a chassis that's so rigid that you can pull 1.5g sustained from the factory and tires that are designed to last less than 5000 miles. The Veyron is very much still relevant. That's why there have been companies who've targeted it. I 100% agree on the look of the car. They're "okay" at best to me. It's never been a huge looker in my books but the numbers surrounding this car are outstanding and still haven't been touched by other OEMs 11 years later!! I agree 100%, the engineering is very much relevant, even though 99.99999% of the people can never drive their auto or even this one at 290mph. Absolutely correct. I just want to go 200mph one day in something in my control. No clue where or when or anything but that is one thing I want to do one day..drive something 200mph. -

I sat in the new CX-9 in LA and it is every bit as good as these press photos suggest. Drew, is that nav screen move up and down into the dash? Looks like it could. Reply back from Mazda - The NAV screen does not retract into the dash. Bummer that would give is a very clean look when the end user did not want the nav / screen use. Much appreciated on getting an answer. Thanks Drew. I assume it would always be in use, though, with the radio on. It would look very clean down but realistically, I don't see a time when it would be down other than when you turn the car off and it would just be adding weight and complexity to have it move up and down.
