  1. Oh no, I've seen it. Your head leaning forward and your leg outside of the driver's seat, which certainly looks like the door cannot shut with your leg in that position. Yeah, Porsche builds their vehicles for those gosh darn tiny Germans!
  2. Down another 10% thus far today! $20.30 as of this writing. I'd like to get it on it shortly. I actually wanted IPO prices but since this tumble, I'm keeping an eye out for it and going to read up on where it "should" bottom out around. I have faith in the company and it would definitely be a long-term play because I don't see them getting out of this production hole anytime soon.
  3. The one measurement you gave me for was a completely different car = useless. Also, we're talking about the rear, not the front. That's where his complaints always are.
  4. Nonsense, the Bolt is small and it's a ridiculous claim that he can fit in the back of one when the driver's seat is set for a 6'6" driver(himself). I know he can't fit in a Macan. They're pretty small themselves.
  5. @Davidwill not fit in a Macan. lol But he claims he can fit "comfortably" in a Bolt.. ?
  6. What else was there to cover? It drove extremely stiff and harsh.
  7. Rivian's stock has gotten beat to sh!t since it's IPO. It's IPO price was $78/share, it spiked up to $179/share in the first week and has since fallen extremely hard, down to ~$21/share as of right now and still falling.
  8. "Around the C/D handling loop, the SS proved flat, stable, able. All the stock TrailBlazer's squirming body motions have been erased, ditto the squirmy steering. And when we asked for straight ahead-another talent the standard TrailBlazer lacks-we got it. The downside is just what you'd expect. A very firm ride. The suspension doesn't transmit small displacement jitters, but if the front wheels catch a frost heave at the same moment, prepare to be snapped to attention. The condition of your local roads may well determine whether you can live with an SS." https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/a18202350/chevrolet-trailblazer-ss-mini-test-road-test/
  9. Almost nobody around here is acting like we're still in a pandemic. Everything is open, no masks being mandated anywhere, and they finally stopped us from having to wear them on the bus a few weeks ago. It's open season in the Mid West! lol
  10. COVID is still a thing? I thought we were finally passed all of that. It's not an election year, right?
  11. Exactly, 14+ inches taller and a half inch higher off the ground, that's A LOT higher center of gravity than a Chevy SS sedan. There's a zero percent chance that if these are driven back to back there will be no noticeable difference.
  12. My reason for wanting to sit higher has nothing to do with safety or visibility, it's the ingress and egress of getting in and out of something where the seat height is almost identical to "my seat height" (lol).
  13. They're nowhere near as bad as enthusiasts make them out to be. Yes, you can get a really bland and super appliance grade crossover, but there are plenty that aren't that grade out there.
  14. Hahaha, i just took a screenshot from the NHL's website. Yeah, game 1 doesn't make the series but it's nice to jump out to a lead. Boston had just struggled with Carolina all year.
  15. Didn't these have the 2.0T as an option? If so, that'd be a fun little sleeper car. Just looked it up, Yes, it can be had with the 2.0T but also a MANUAL TRANSMISSION!
  16. Well, we knew it was coming but I don't know if we thought it would be quite so soon. I'm not in the market for something like this but it's still pretty exciting.
  17. EXACTLY what I was thinking! I couldn't imagine the concentration level, skills, and experience needed to accomplish any of those.
  18. Those are some skilled pilots!
  19. Funny enough, the thumbnail they used on my phone was an F1 car and a windmill. I'm not sure if you watched the video or not, but it's actually neat to see where else F1 technology has been utilized.
  20. Even if it isn't the turbo-4 and it's the 5.3, that's still only 355hp/383tq. I guess I never really realized until now that they are all down a little on power/torque. I still think the plug-in hybrid would be a great way to get people into electric vehicles, but I'm not the one in charge of these decisions hahaha.
  21. Some or more of you may hate Donut but this was pretty interesting to see some unconventional places F1 technology has spread to. David will definitely hate it because they talk about Mercedes technological advancements, hahaha.
  22. Sorry, you mentioned Hybrid which is significantly more powerful at 438hp/583tq. I am a little surprised GM hasn't hybridized their truck engines at all yet.
  23. Tundra: 389hp/479tq GM 6.2: 420hp/460tq What "big power advantage" do you speak of?
