BUT THE INTERIORS ON THE EUROPEANS!! ...wait... ?

I'll link it one more time to show you the Navigator topped the GLS and X7. https://www.motortrend.com/reviews/2020-bmw-x7-2021-cadillac-escalade-lincoln-navigator-mercedes-benz-gls-class-3-row-luxury-suv-comparison-test-review/ "Despite some positives, the BMW X7 just doesn't outride, outdrive, or out-luxe the established players in this segment. It's a good first effort but unfortunately not a great one." "Despite its lack of the premium leathers, woods, and headliners of the rest of the field, the GLS' as-tested price was a group-high $108,135. " "Compared to the BMW, Cadillac, and Lincoln, the Mercedes had the least impressive interior of the lot. Ignoring the aging design—an issue the BMW suffers from, as well—materials on our supposedly luxurious GLS580 left us wanting for more."

Crazy, it topped the comparison test here in 2021. Yeah, it doesn't have the newest offerings as the Grand Wagoneer just came out. I'm sure they'll compare all three when they get an opportunity. The Lexus and Infiniti are easily behind all three American-made ones. https://www.motortrend.com/reviews/2020-bmw-x7-2021-cadillac-escalade-lincoln-navigator-mercedes-benz-gls-class-3-row-luxury-suv-comparison-test-review/ Two of the four offer plug-in hybrids. The Nautilus is being replaced with an EV and I'm surprised they didn't drop-in the hybrid powertrain from the F150 in the Navigator yet.

The Edge fits in pretty much the same role/size as the JGC, Blazer, Acadia, Passport, Venza, etc... large two-row SUVs. All of those companies have 3-row SUVs above these and compact SUVs below these. I'm sure Hyundai/Kia have vehicles in this category as well.

I was just trying to keep it semi-realistic. Daily for me and wife then one toy. You could easily slash 50k off each of these for a lesser model, I was just dreamin' some. Panamera has always been one of the ugliest yet highest praised vehicles to me. I would never own one simply based on how ugly they are.
-
Porsche is just one of those companies that I could get behind. You almost never hear about quality issues, only extremely high praise for their quality. They just seem to make great products. If I had the money, I could see myself being a Porsche-only household. They just don't seem to make anything that's mediocre or middle of the pack, EVER. The only "real" downside(assuming I had the money) would be, I'd want a V8 in my sports car, simply for the sounds. I'd be thrilled to have a Taycan Cross Tourismo, Cayenne, and a manual 911 Targa in the garage. It's only like half a mil worth of vehicles though..? ~150k for a Targa 4S ~150k for a Taycan GTS Cross Tourismo ~170k for a Cayenne Turbo S E-Hybrid

Hasn't it been known the Nautilus/Edge are being replaced with something electric? I'm assuming you're talking strictly sales numbers, not praise the vehicles themselves actually get? They get plenty of praise from automotive journalists but their sales aren't very good. I've said it many times, it takes time to overcome what they did in the 90's-2015ish. They built in such bad brand recognition that it just takes time to overcome that(assuming the products are actually very good - which they are now).
-
1: They have the Navigator to get into the 100k range 2: Lincoln doesn't have the brand equity to ask 180k for anything right now. They're taking much-needed steps towards gaining brand recognition and making actually really good products again. BUT, they dug themselves a hole from like the 90's through about 2015, then they started to differentiate themselves from Ford products.
-
And I don't mind. If they want me to wear a mask, I'll just wear the mask. That was never near the issue that people made it out to be.

Chevrolet News:All-Electric Chevrolet Equinox @$30,000 Starting Price

That's why they'll sell you a Blazer... -
We're pretty much wide open here. The only place still requiring me to wear a mask is the public bus.

At least Tesla has had physical vehicles to walk around. Not saying Ram won't beat them, that's up in the air. I'm just saying that video was 100% CGI and they don't currently have anything to show of it.
-
It's 100% vaporware, I wouldn't put much stock in a video like that saying it'll look better than *name any product*.

I think the ONLY really bad thing about the iD4 that I've read/watched is the trip planner that coordinates the charging stops along your route. It's atrocious. It has you stopping at absurd locations with HOURS to charge because it automatically picks weirdly slow chargers. Which, if you're buying an EV, you already should have an app or apps on your phone to do this planning anyway. So, it isn't a major issue, just a really weird one, especially because it doesn't pick up their own VW-built Electrify America chargers.
-
Heck, it's pretty damn beautiful even in this condition.

A big differentiator between hackers and salespeople are one is supposedly working to sell to all people and their sales also benefit quite a few people up the line, hackers are either individuals benefitting only themselves (not profiting) for personal reasons or benefitting a small few who're paying them. I have great doubt any of these hackers are working for any company and if they're paid, it's most certainly under the table.
-
Oh no, it's possible to get a square deal from any salesperson. The issue is the BS they'll put you through, mentioned earlier.
-
I'd wager a very high percentage of dealerships have at least one complete scumbag salesperson. What complaints, prior to this situation, have there been about the Rivian 'dealer' ?
-
We do and it all went south with dealerships being scummy as fck. If they weren't scumbags, there never would have been complaints.
-
No, they're not spamming email, pressuring me to purchase, pressuring to buy add-ons, and they're probably not completely ignorant about the products they're selling. If they were actually selling their products, they could 100% answer questions about their vehicles without some weird runaround. Exactly what I said, but those aren't competitors to Balth, for some reason.
-
AND they also don't have to deal with scumbag salespeople.
