  1. The Ranger starts at $24,820 so it would have to be significantly below that to be worth it and that is a SuperCab so you already have a small 4 door option with the 2.3T. $28,675 if you want 4WD.
  2. So much more bed with 6 and 7.5ft options compared to that weak-sauce 4.5ft bed Rivian may have.
  3. https://www.roadandtrack.com/news/a35809318/check-out-every-luxurious-detail-of-the-2022-jeep-grand-wagoneer/ Seems like its not-so-luxurious vs luxury, IMO.
  4. isn't the "Grand" one the luxury one and the non-Grand the one to compete with the Tahoe/Expy? Or is the "Grand" the extended version ala Suburban/Max? I could be completely wrong. I haven't done much reading on it at all, mostly just looked at pictures of it.
  5. Aren't these to compete with Tahoes/Suburbans/Yukons/XL, Expeditions/Max, Escalades, and Navigators though? Tahoe starts at 49k - Suburban starts at 51k Yukon starts at 51k - XL starts at 60k Escalade starts at 76k - ESV starts at 80k Navigator starts at 76k - L starts at 85k Yeah, after breaking it down it does seem considerably higher than its closest competition. Have you not paid attention to the truck segment for the last 20 years? They one-up each other almost yearly on payload capacity and towing capacity along with added off-road models.
  6. Then why didn't you have it open for the driver's seat? Good luck with that. You already made it public you DON'T fit as well as you explained. They better be able to fold flat if ICE vehicles can fold their 2nd and 3rd rows flat. How many times per year do they change their prices? I swear it's 2-3 times per year they're raising and/or lowering prices on one of their four vehicles.
  7. Yep, botched that. Driver's door closed and rear door open*
  8. That's why the driver's seat picture had the door open and the back seat had the door open...
  9. Right? His leg is outside the vehicle and his head is tilted forward. Zero possibility he can convince be he is remotely comfortable with the door closed in that thing. His knee is 4-6 inches above his hip, that's called "cramped". I walked past one the other day in a parking lot and was surprised how small they really are.
  10. Nobody sells a 4.5ft bed and I've criticized the possible tiny bed the Maverick may have. I think the 5.5ft beds that are in 90% of half tons is on the small side. If I can't fit a single yard of dirt, rock, mulch, cut down tree, etc, I don't want it. That's TOO SMALL. I've certainly borrowed my dad's Taco(6ft bed) for plenty of things and know a 4.5ft bed would not get the job done on pretty much all of those jobs except renting equipment. Next time I use my dad's Taco and utilize the entire 6ft bed, I'll be sure to take a picture just for you, sweetie.
  11. 4.5ft bed is a joke. Trying to defend that because "personal vs commercial" is equally a joke.
  12. ^ now that makes more sense. There's no way Tesla could lose 100% market share. Well, they could. They'd be out of business.
  13. If you would have shown a picture of the Bronco Sport off-roading, you woulda had something...
  14. You obviously didn't even read the review I posted so here are some snippets for you that you've clearly missed. There is ONE engine available. I'll give it to him that you can drive the piss out of it and not break any laws! ?
  15. Lincoln doesn't hide their not-so-sportyness
  16. This has nothing to do with the relevant agility and speed testing. Guaranteed. There is zero doubt David will defend everything GM the same way smk defends Mercedes. But, it isn't luxurious either...
  17. Welcome! Feel free to start a new thread anytime!
  18. Feels relevant here... "Buick's new second-gen Envision is attractive and less expensive than other compact luxury SUVs, but it's more of a premium pretender than actually premium. It's not that the completely redesigned, second-generation Envision isn't visually appealing or packed with popular features. That's true on both counts. But beyond those basic prerequisites, the Envision lacks the driving joy and truly upscale traits that might help it transcend its position as a compact luxury SUV poseur." https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/a35606676/2021-buick-envision-by-the-numbers/
  19. Garbage, greedy unions.
  20. That's a very good question @ykX, I'm leaning more towards what the better end product is. I think, in this scenario, I would be more likely to support the MDX with American workers but foreign corporation. A big part of the equation is that I'm not a fan of the union jobs the D3 suffer through but also the fact that they moved the jobs overseas to avoid those crappy unions, they themselves are admitting they don't like them either.
  21. Maybe they should recalculate their numbers with what average drivers actually drive...
  22. I'm curious if there is an "expected return" on this investment. Like, do they think in 20, 25, 30, etc. years this move will save them money compared to continuing to repair the current fleet?
  23. Oh, oh I know. I would only assume they certain locations where EV-only would make sense, they would provide those locations with their EV.
  24. ^ That's a good question. I'd like to know that as well. For $10,000, I can't imagine it's too high.
