  1. I do like that they tried to keep it somewhat squared off instead of all coupe-like to maximize aerodynamic efficiency. The windshield has a crazy rake to it but he rest is pretty square and I appreciate that. I don't like the wheels but that's relatively minor and "easy" to change(assuming they're smart enough to use the same lug pattern as some other manufacturer).
  2. What's everybody's thoughts on Ford or GM's(mostly Ford because GM doesn't seem to have the nuts to enter the segment...?) rebuttal to the TRX?
  3. The Durango is not a body on frame SUV. It is a uni-body architecture, like the othe CUVs. It is just RWD based instead of FWD based.
  4. I don't factually know this, but, I have to assume crash standards have changed quite a bit in the last 10 years. i also think the exact 5.3 from the Silverado would be one bada$$ engine in the Colorado. 355hp/375tq(or so..I don't remember the exact numbers).
  5. I mean, almost everything is at this point. The only ones I can think of that aren't are the V8's and 3.3 V6(base F-150 engine). I think the last n/a 4-banger is the hybrid engine in the Escape and I think everything else has turbos.
  6. I think there have been a few overvalued companies go under in the past.. *cough* Enron *cough*. I think Tesla is going to survive but they're definitely a future-prediction based stock price still. I don't think Chevy even needs to put a V8 in the Colorado(not sure if they can with those dang crumple zones). They already have turbo v6's(3.0 & 3.6) in-house they could drop in there. Oh yeah, and the new 2.7T that needs to be in there ASAP! I'm genuinely curious what Ford is thinking upon this release. I wonder if they're going to go all diesel-one-upping each other and actually throw something bada$$ under the hood or are they doing to try and keep the same formula and cross their fingers. They certainly have some time as the 2021 F150 won't have a new Raptor anyway but I bet they're scrambling to figure something out. I can't imagine them having the balls to use the supercharged 5.2 but, ya never know. They don't like to be behind in their bread and butter segment, trucks. I wonder how much they can turn the wick up on the 3.5. Either way, even if they did pump 800hp out of it, it'll still sound like a wet fart. Raptors have possibly the most disappointing exhaust note on the market. If you put aftermarket exhaust on them they sound absolutely terrible(and any 3.5T in the F150 and I'm going to safely assume the 2.7T as well).
  7. This is so BAD-A$$. If you don't love this, you don't love America. I mean they've had the Powerwagon 2500 if you want gnarly crawling capabilities. They don't even need the ZR1's engine. The ZL1/Z06/CTS-V's ~650hp would suffice. The Ram is only like 2 years old.
  8. Well, something to fit David "comfortably", to him, we're talking FEET longer, FEET wider and FEET taller. ? I get what you're saying but something he considers comfortable(which would be more along the Grand Touring-style cars, imo) would certainly be a good amount larger and I can't imagine it being a comparable weight. But, that's just my point of view.
  9. We are so far beyond that though. We're already talking about vehicles weighing virtually as light as possible already..and then making them larger. I'm not saying something larger would weigh 1000 lbs. more. But, 50 lbs. is 50 lbs and engineers don't want that.
  10. All things being equal, because we're talking about the highest of high performing road cars, yes, it'll weigh more. We're talking about million dollar cars with carbon fiber everywhere already.
  11. if it's larger, it weighs more. It HAS to weigh more. You know the struggles of high performance with additional weight. All three hyper cars I posted are hybrids, if you didn't know.
  12. I gotta ask, what's funny about this @David?
  13. These aren't anywhere near gaudy, like the XP-1.
  14. "estimated time" GTFO with that. It's like a 13 mile track with 3000 turns. There's way too many variables to estimate a time like that.
  15. @ykX
  16. I didn't realize it was $80,000. I thought the number was lower. I knew or heard they were losing money on the lower trimmed ones but $80,000 isn't too low of a trim/package. Didn't they just release 2021 pricing and it didn't change at all? I'll have to check that. https://media.chevrolet.com/media/us/en/chevrolet/home.detail.html/content/Pages/news/us/en/2020/jul/0708-2021-corvette.html#:~:text=DETROIT — Corvette has always represented, and %2467%2C495 for the convertible. "DETROIT — Corvette has always represented iconic American design, performance, technical ingenuity and attainability. The 2021 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray retains carryover pricing – the same as the introductory model – with MSRP starting at $59,995 for the coupe and $67,495 for the convertible. Both models include destination freight charge."
  17. That's one gaudy Hyperion XP-1. I certainly do not think the Lucid looks better but it'll probably be a better vehicle, as it should because it's like 10 years newer.
  18. Whoa, glad to see you back Drew! Aaaaand congrats on the purchase!
  19. Hahaha you chose a a car with the same exact front fascia. Of course you can tell it is all the E Class. I can see how you might think it was all the C or S Class as well but you can definitely tell it is the same car and not a mixture of the three.
  20. I don't think that part is weird. I think it is weird they showed this before the Hummer because that supposedly goes on sale next year, I believe.
  21. I think this looks pretty dang good outside of the upper rear section with that awkward light. I think the rest looks pretty awesome. Granted, this is only 80-85% the finished product, I think it is a great start for a nearly finished product. You would have thought they'd show the Hummer EV first. I mean that's supposed to be out next year or some sht.
  22. What the sht is this? If this is accurate, it is an absolute fail of a vehicle already.
  23. The truck profile has a Rideline look to me. Awesome. I think there is no chance it starts under 100k, and I don't mean 99,990. Also, why would there be a 2WD Hummer? This should be AWD only.
  24. I've never seen a Tacoma or Tundra with a snapped frame in person either but they're apparently happening left and right.
  25. Which vehicle do you think he fits in? ?
