  1. Jesus iPhone. It’s “because” not “nexuses”. This should really get back to GM and their EV pickup plans.
  2. More reliable than your average Jeep and that’s not being personal. That’s a statement of fact. The other fact is that they could be Toyota reliable and you’d still bitch because EVs are the devil. While it may be a bit long, his position is pretty clear on this. Meanwhile, you have moved the bar where the Tesla issues are concerned. First it was they are all junk, then it’s calling it out when service takes that, and then back to the junk statement. Which is it? Again, we get it. This isn’t just about Tesla and neither is this story. You hate EVs. Meanwhile, the automotive world is moving on without you.
  3. Yet, until now, you have never called out GM with the same vigor that you reserve for Tesla. You also contradicted yourself nexuses your initial gripe was about them being Junk, not because it parts and service timeframes.
  4. So it’s just better for you to disregard valid arguments (like what Drew said) and create your own narrative so that you can feel better about bashing an American company trying to do business in a nation known for unreliable junk? As as it has already been pointed out, the problem is not whether the Tesla’s there are junk or not. It’s the down time which has jack squat to do with reliability. If you want to cherry pick this because of your blind hate, go ahead. Just don’t expect others to buy into because most folks here know the facts.
  5. Problem is that if they are anything like they are here then they’re really not that cheap. Just overpriced junk.
  6. Make sure to ask for extra butter lol!
  7. Now who’s getting personal? Oh and I don’t drink so I don’t require the DUI special to get around town. This is literally an everyday occurrence in my home state and that’s normally after the drunks have already crashed their mopeds.
  8. They started the downward spiral of product degradation, from the half baked Crossfire to the POS Caliber. FCA had to clean up that dumpster fire and finally update the Charger and Grand Cherokee. I do agree about the LX platform though. It is still a solid platform to this day even if it is old as dirt (by todays standard).
  9. Exactly my point in my "non-story" reply. Here's my question. Will the addition of the Shanghai plant help alleviate these problems with prolonged times? It would seem so but I don't know all the details. Maybe the current problem is a result of putting the cart before the horse (selling a completely new car in a market with no current production facilities).
  10. That would be the only reason I could see that not happening for the Soul. My wife has a 2015 Soul and absolutely loves it but AWD would sure be nice in the winter months when we go up the Arizona mountains.
  11. So what you are saying is that FCA is merely continuing the failure that Daimler started almost twenty years ago by just leaving Chrysler and Dodge hanging out to rot on a vine. Good to know.
  12. Nope. Just a means of comparison. You like to point out how Tesla’s and EVs are just big piles of $h! yet the company that makes your vehicle routinely spends their time at or near the bottom of every reliability list out there. That’s not being personal. That’s stating a fact. Since you asked though, my Toyota is 24 years old with 266K miles on it and the only thing I’ve had to replace on it, in the three years I’ve had it, is an alternator.
  13. I was just thinking the same thing. Otherwise, the model shown above actually looks pretty nice for the segment they have in mind.
  14. Not once did I say it did but since you look for any reason to slam EVs as junk while you drive a car made by company with a history of junk (as well as just general history of negative trolling where EVs are concerned), your opinion on this means squat to me quite honestly.
  15. Really don’t want to bother with you because you don’t want to hear the answer but let me just sum it up though. A country that makes endless unreliable junk doesn’t get to make statements about American companies and their issues regardless of truth or not.
  16. Here’s the non-story regarding the Times Square message. Never take seriously, a Chinese company criticizing someone else’s quality. https://www.google.com/amp/s/mashable.com/article/tesla-iunicorn-chinese-ride-hailing-repair-costs-billboards.amp
  17. Where I grew up, that is the choice of transportation for convicted DUI drivers. It gets all the honeys though lol, certainly than any Smart car will.
  18. If not for RAM sales, FCAs losses would be even more devastating that they already look. Just brutal.
  19. But those are not EVs which is the only thing that matters here. Didn’t you read??
  20. Yet you don’t say what that decline means because your point was clearly to troll especially given that most models this year have suffered far greater year over year losses. But “technically” he is right and that’s all that matters lol. We will just sidestep all the ICE autos losing sales by the thousands this year. All that matters is that one EV who is down a whole 59 units over last year.
  21. No worries but thanks for clarification. I did not want anyone to misread my intent here.
  22. That is not the context on which I was speaking but I get what you’re saying. My remark was pretty much a trolling deflection.
  23. Only in the most technical sense, yes it is down. However, given that the year over year loss is less (percentage wise) than the majority of ICE autos out there, it means nothing. It doesn’t mean EVs are crap. It doesn’t mean that no one wants them. It literally means nothing.
  24. I don’t know why people buy the Jeep Compass but people still do. Fewer this year than last year as well. The Bolt, for the record, is only down 59 units for the year compared to this time last year, which is far less than many other models out there even when accounting for percentage loss.
  25. At one time, some folks thought that no one would ever buy a Tesla. History is not being very kind to those folks.
