First Impressions: 2020 Cadillac CT5: Comments
You clearly did not watch the YouTube video posted above. If any GM car, much less a Cadillac, made noises like that just by pressing on various parts of the plastic, you would be non-stop in your criticism over said lack of quality. I’ve been in my fair share of German cars and I can attest to those squeak claims and plethora of plastic in all the wrong places. The design is made to look like its high quality and in some cases, does look better than most but it’s a front, a disguise for the squeaks that lie beneath it. Now answer me this, since we are on the subject of “one piece of the puzzle”. What percentage of Benz sales are actually leases? Cite the source. And that is my biggest gripe with the exterior of the CT5. Just lazy and unnecessary. Other than that though, it’s basic design is every bit as good as an E-Class (closest to its size) and certainly more modern and eye catching (think front three quarters here) than the rather boring and bulbous looking C-Class.

Never in a million years. Audi can keep that nonsense.

Buick News: New Buick Crossover Inbound
Even though I am also not a fan of the term “crossover coupe”, I technically fits and carries over from the sedan coupe trend that Benz started (for the most part) with the CLS. Now, regarding the Buick, it actually looks pretty sharp but until I see a production model (given GMs history of neutering nice designs like this), I will reserve judgment. Definitely some Blazer/Camaro cues on the front end, with a more polished look to it. Just my opinion. Much like the crossover coupe GLA?

Chevrolet News:Chevy updates the Camaro for 2020
Used to work up the road from there for years. These days I avoid that area. Too many idiot drivers and too much construction.

Chevrolet News:Chevy updates the Camaro for 2020
LMAO! I witnessed a few of those folks at Sands Chevrolet. I simply don’t get it but I guess 80 year old men need to get laid too.

Chevrolet News:Chevy updates the Camaro for 2020
I second that. I got a lot of time behind the wheel of them when I worked at a Chevy dealership last year. They are a pain to get in and out of (which is still better than trying to climb in or out of a Vette) but they do sit comfortably and I also had no more of a problem seeing out of one as any number of cars out there. Not even close. Those folks tend to go for the Corvette which is baffling given that my 46 year old ass has a hard time with entry and exit. To each their own I guess. I was under the impression that Alpha is on the way out. What would that leave for the Camaro if it’s gone?

Chevrolet News:Chevy updates the Camaro for 2020
Must mean a completely new one is in the pipeline since these are just appearance updates (save for the addition of the 10spd to the V6). Chevrolet needs to do something drastic with the Camaro or it might end up back in the grave like in ‘03.

GM News: Barra Confirms GM is Working On EV Pickup
I’m on the opposite side of the current design fence. I actually like the exterior design of the light duty models (especially after seeing quite a few in person) but the HD front end is just horrid to me. Where they really need to focus on is the Fisher Price interior that is being shamed by Ford and RAM.

GM News: Barra Confirms GM is Working On EV Pickup
There are a ton of options on that front, I’m sure, but hopefully whatever they decide to go with gets a better response than their current design language.

Jesus iPhone. It’s “because” not “nexuses”. This should really get back to GM and their EV pickup plans.

GM News: Barra Confirms GM is Working On EV Pickup
More reliable than your average Jeep and that’s not being personal. That’s a statement of fact. The other fact is that they could be Toyota reliable and you’d still bitch because EVs are the devil. While it may be a bit long, his position is pretty clear on this. Meanwhile, you have moved the bar where the Tesla issues are concerned. First it was they are all junk, then it’s calling it out when service takes that, and then back to the junk statement. Which is it? Again, we get it. This isn’t just about Tesla and neither is this story. You hate EVs. Meanwhile, the automotive world is moving on without you.

GM News: Barra Confirms GM is Working On EV Pickup
Yet, until now, you have never called out GM with the same vigor that you reserve for Tesla. You also contradicted yourself nexuses your initial gripe was about them being Junk, not because it parts and service timeframes.

GM News: Barra Confirms GM is Working On EV Pickup
So it’s just better for you to disregard valid arguments (like what Drew said) and create your own narrative so that you can feel better about bashing an American company trying to do business in a nation known for unreliable junk? As as it has already been pointed out, the problem is not whether the Tesla’s there are junk or not. It’s the down time which has jack squat to do with reliability. If you want to cherry pick this because of your blind hate, go ahead. Just don’t expect others to buy into because most folks here know the facts.

SMART News:SMART Exits North America
Problem is that if they are anything like they are here then they’re really not that cheap. Just overpriced junk.

Make sure to ask for extra butter lol!

Now who’s getting personal? Oh and I don’t drink so I don’t require the DUI special to get around town. This is literally an everyday occurrence in my home state and that’s normally after the drunks have already crashed their mopeds.

Sales: April 2019 Sales Figures
They started the downward spiral of product degradation, from the half baked Crossfire to the POS Caliber. FCA had to clean up that dumpster fire and finally update the Charger and Grand Cherokee. I do agree about the LX platform though. It is still a solid platform to this day even if it is old as dirt (by todays standard).

GM News: Barra Confirms GM is Working On EV Pickup
Exactly my point in my "non-story" reply. Here's my question. Will the addition of the Shanghai plant help alleviate these problems with prolonged times? It would seem so but I don't know all the details. Maybe the current problem is a result of putting the cart before the horse (selling a completely new car in a market with no current production facilities).

Kia News: Kia Looking to Bring Out Tiny Crossover Also
That would be the only reason I could see that not happening for the Soul. My wife has a 2015 Soul and absolutely loves it but AWD would sure be nice in the winter months when we go up the Arizona mountains.

Sales: April 2019 Sales Figures
So what you are saying is that FCA is merely continuing the failure that Daimler started almost twenty years ago by just leaving Chrysler and Dodge hanging out to rot on a vine. Good to know.

GM News: Barra Confirms GM is Working On EV Pickup
Nope. Just a means of comparison. You like to point out how Tesla’s and EVs are just big piles of $h! yet the company that makes your vehicle routinely spends their time at or near the bottom of every reliability list out there. That’s not being personal. That’s stating a fact. Since you asked though, my Toyota is 24 years old with 266K miles on it and the only thing I’ve had to replace on it, in the three years I’ve had it, is an alternator.
