Industry News: Trump Threatens Mexico with Auto Tariffs
And why is that exactly? Because not everyone buys what Trump is selling? Please elaborate or offer a counter argument explaining why tariffs with Mexico is a good thing. Trump has also suggested huge tariffs on Europe regarding their cars. Want to see how many sales Mercedes loses as a result of that nonsense?

Industry News: Trump Threatens Mexico with Auto Tariffs
This “fresh trade agreement” hasn’t even been ratified by our congress nor will it. There are simply no other words for the cognitive displacement being shown by this man. I won’t even touch on all the other BS.

Industry News: Could Pricing Finally Crack Truck Buyer Loyalty?
I have my doubts about this. Trucks have already shot up $5-10K with every redesign and truck buyers keep scooping them up. The manufacturers know this too which is why they can get away with it. All cars are pricey these days but trucks have taken it to a whole other level because of that loyalty from truck buyers. It will not stop until a sizable portion of them say “enough” and start buying used or CPO saving a ton of cash.

SMART News:SMART Could Be the Next Dead Brand
Sorry but all of their cars came with those very nails. It had jack to do with any EV plans and it is pure trolling and foolish to think that it was when their sales (and their cars) have been garbage since day one.

And apparently even their love affair with them didn’t last. They absolutely had no shot in the U.S. and with good reason.

Was it ever really alive to begin with? Those cars took “POS” to a whole other level.

New York 2019: Cadillac CT5 to Debut: Comments
That’s my bad with it. From the rear doors to the front, it looks nice. But that C pillar window treatment kills the rest of it. I do look forward to what they will do with the interior but I just hope it’s not the same rehash of the “slab dash” look that exists in cars like the CT6 and their smal CUVs. It looks clean but it also just looks too plain for the brand IMO>

New York 2019: Cadillac CT5 to Debut: Comments
And that’s the sad part. The mainstream brand car should not look better than a luxury car, in any way IMO. I actually like how Infiniti did theirs though. At least they put some effort into the actual design aspect whereas it looks like the bean counters at Cadillac took over when it came to CT5s.

New York 2019: Cadillac CT5 to Debut: Comments
That spot just gets worse the more I look at it. And now that someone mentioned earlier, the profile does look a little too much like this...

New York 2019: Cadillac CT5 to Debut: Comments
I was about to say the same EXACT thing regarding the two problems. From a profile angle, that rear pillar just kills the flow. The front and grill look super sharp but the coupe look is getting way too played out (priotizing form over function).

Mercedez Benz News Maybach to Build SUV in Alabama
That was a joke cap, hence the “LOL”. Having worked at a Chevy dearlship last year, I can tell you that you will not find ONE Silverado for under $35K, even a V6 work truck. On the serious side though, it means nothing that the Slade uses the 1500’s frame because that is literally the only it has in common with it. The price of the 1500 is irrelevant, knowing that little fact.

- Does it HURT? I Like it When It Hurts! Chevy Blazer Beats Pilot and Edge in MT and C&D Comparo
Oh I’m not disagreeing with Honda’s overall resale but the name alone will hurt it just a little bit lol. The last Passport, like the Rodeo, was pure garbage and some older folks probably haven’t forgotten that even if they are two very different vehicles from each other.- Does it HURT? I Like it When It Hurts! Chevy Blazer Beats Pilot and Edge in MT and C&D Comparo
The smaller Blazer lost to the bigger Pacifica, on top of them being two different types of vehicles. Sorry, but that whole MT series was utterly pointless. To say that the Blazer offered nothing shows that you didn’t read the actual reviews of it. It was praised for its poise and driving dynamics, something that is rare in the CUV world. The Passport? HAAAAAHHH!! Honda or not, that was a horrible choice for a CUV name, given the history of said name, (cough, cough Isuzu Rodeo). BTW, it being nothing but a chopped off Pilot does not help its cause.- Does it HURT? I Like it When It Hurts! Chevy Blazer Beats Pilot and Edge in MT and C&D Comparo
Didn’t catch that before but you are exactly right.- Does it HURT? I Like it When It Hurts! Chevy Blazer Beats Pilot and Edge in MT and C&D Comparo
Not a flattering picture at all, if you’re the XT6. If can’t “dare greatly” make sure you can actually “rise above”. Neither slogan works right now.- Does it HURT? I Like it When It Hurts! Chevy Blazer Beats Pilot and Edge in MT and C&D Comparo
I love the logic that somehow you cannot criticize said car or car company if you never plan on driving or buying one. If that’s the case, then I guess most of us would have nothing to talk about here. ? Just dumb is what it is, in reality.- Does it HURT? I Like it When It Hurts! Chevy Blazer Beats Pilot and Edge in MT and C&D Comparo
I should clarify that there are “fanboys” and then there are “brand blind fan boys” lol. Definitely is counter to the “dare greatly” ad campaign we have been sold on but hey, everyone has an excuse in one fashion or another. It doesn’t change the problems faced by it though.
