2020 Hyundai Sonata Unveiled in New York: Comments
On top of some rather anemic HP numbers for a midsize car. The rest of it is pretty sharp though.

Hyundai Venue Debuts in New York: Comments
Not real crazy about that front end (like oddly placed and large fog light housing) but it’s a nice package for a smaller CUV with more practicality than its sibling Kona. The interior seems to invoke some Volvo cues but that’s a good thing, in this case because it has a cleaner look than some other CUVs.

Yeah, not feeling that at all but then again, it’s just another CUV to me. Even the interior is a let down after the Navigator and Aviator reveals.

Cadillac Fully Unveils The CT5 Sedan: Comments
The Audi is indeed nothing special and the CT5 already matches up quite well against it. Of course, you should consider the source of the pic posted lol. Never said anything about price, only the size. It’s obvious that will cost less than the 5 series because all German cars are overpriced to begin with.

I like profile but the front end resembles the Tesla Model 3.

Volkswagen Bring Tarok Pickup Concept to New York: Comments
Hey, a VW I would actually consider! It's a better take of the Ridgeline while combining it the flexibility of the Avalanche (which I also liked). For urban dwellers or folks who just don't need a "full on" pickup, this is a nice option IMO. And I'm with you @Frisky Dingo. Get it out there and lets see if it floats (sales wise of course).

Cadillac Fully Unveils The CT5 Sedan: Comments
Look at the center of the steering wheel and you'll see, very clearly, why he probably thinks the MB is better lol. I absolutely hate the slab of screen there, combining the gauges with the infotainment section. That is just awful IMO. Quite a bit of "shiny" plastic in the center console., if you ask me. Not to dismiss it as it does look decent overall (save for the slab tablet mentioned earlier) but it has more than enough plastic in it as well, which should dismiss complaints about Cadillac using it (not saying you are complaining btw).

Cadillac Fully Unveils The CT5 Sedan: Comments
Let me just say this. While I am still not a fan of the profile (especially the rear quarter of it), kudos to Cadillac on the improved interior. Love the two tone option and the overall design (outside of the floating tablet nonsense that I don’t like fro anyone these days). Maybe the exterior will show better in person. Here’s hoping for some sales success that defied the current CTS (which I am a general fan off overall).

Chevrolet News:GM Confirms and Teases Mid-Engine Corvette
Which is typical of soon to be released Vettes but even more so this time around, given the complete overhaul of literally everything.

Anywho, maybe the conversation needs to steer back to the original subject, which is the next Vette.

So SMK claims the Stinger is priced way too high over a FWD Optima while Mercedes does this. The A Class starts at more than $32K while the C Class is almost $10K more. We will sidestep the fact that $32K gets you a whopping 188HP in the “entry luxury” car.

Chevrolet News:GM Confirms and Teases Mid-Engine Corvette
Your gripe is severely misplaced, is my point here as you keep comparing it to completely non related cars which now includes the Camaro and Mustang. Even your Optima comparison is off base because the 2.0 motor is the thing they have in common. Seriously, I just don’t even see how you can make these arguments about it being overpriced while being a fan of a company known for overpriced cars. Just stop the nonsense already. I would dare say that part of its issue is due to brand snobs like yourself. And for the love of all that’s holy, stop with the apples oranges comparisons.

That is just future guessing. Says right above that they are using the 224HP four banger and offering a bigger option down the road is a cop out (seeing as how that 300HP offering is for the much overused “AMG” model that will cost at least $20K more than the XT4) and proves my point about offering a weak motor on a seven passenger SUV. You also go the apples to oranges route yet again since the NX200 and XT4 don’t offer seven passenger seating (and with good reason). On top of that, Benz is supposed to offer more, according to your past comments. Here, they offer less and you offer up excuses you do not grant to Cadillac or anyone else not wearing a German label.

I’ll give Benz credit. They at least show pics of the most expensive trim when releasing to the press (concept or otherwise). The reality is though that most of them sold will not carry the same high end material and colors schemes of the top of the line trim shown here. Take away the two tone color and you have a pretty boring design given the make and supposed “best or nothing else” marketing behind it. Oh and only 224HP on a seven passenger SUV? Seems like someone here has some crow to eat given their history of slamming brands Ike Cadillac and Lincoln for their “weak” engine offerings.

Stop moving the bar. That was not your initial gripe. You complained about the price being too high when compared to a compact luxury car and now you are splitting hairs over the interior when it looks just fine for its price/performance range. Shall we bring up the relative cheapness of entry model German cars and their faux leather, for example? And did you really type that? A Camry? A FWD non-sporty sedan against a RWD/AWD grand tourer? You have to be kidding me. Hey, while we are at it, let’s compare a $35K loaded Camry against a $53K 303 HP (35 HP less than a lower priced and loaded Stinger) Mercedes Benz E300? That’s how apples to oranges your comparisons are.

Chevrolet News:GM Confirms and Teases Mid-Engine Corvette
You are comparing large apples to smaller oranges. The Stinger is quite a bit longer and larger than any 3 series. It is closer in size to the 5 series, which is way higher in price, when comparably equipped. Furthermore, that $51K Stinger comes fully loaded while most of the turbo 6 models are closer to the $42-45 range. It never surprises me how much you try to dismiss or belittle anything that isn’t from Germany.
