And? Best selling does not mean best car. It trails both the Civic and Corolla in that category (all time).

Number one according to whom? Sales? That's the Camry occupying that spot Btw so maybe better argument is in order.

I get that but apparently you missed the irony given that you have shown the same tendencies where Mercedes is concerned.

As a former owner of a ES300, please allow me to tell you how completely full of crap you are if you think that engine can handle such neglect and is "that good". It isn't btw and I had six months of sludge to prove it.

Thanks all. This was uncharted territory and I am just glad he is no longer suffering. He had advanced dementia on top of the Parkinson's and he wasn't the same man I once knew.

My father passed away from Parkison related complications. Thanks Olds. That's why I haven't been on here for the last week or so. Drove across country to NC and back.

Why does everyone keep arguing with SMK about this dead horse he keeps beating? He will always ignore the simple fact that Cadillac is not Mercedes and does not need to be for reasons already explained to him at least a million times. This is just getting sad.
-
I love how you continue to compare the entire Mercedes portfolio (China sales figures) to one GM brand. Want to compare Mercedes Benz to GM in China? That is a more accurate comparison. Buick alone sold over 1.2 million cars, cars that compete with lower trim Mercedes.
-
Tip toe around it but the fact remains that those "Tahoe Bones" do not delude the prestige, the performance, and the luxury of the Escalade. It matter not one damn bit what chasis it uses when it beats the hell out of the competition that is supposedly "the best" of you believe the marketing hyped commercials. And we are not talking about China here so no bar moving. I do wondwe one thing though. Will you express a similar disappointment if Benz brings that pick up over here, Frontier bones and all?
-
Then please oh please explain how an Escalade, you know that overdressed Tahoe you love to bring up, beat all competitors in the most recent comparison on top of being a top seller in its class.

Dodge News: 2018 Dodge Challenger Demon Begins At $86,090

True but FCA is the worst of the "lack of innovation and investment" bunch (and again this is on top off their other issues) for too many reasons to list here.- 38 replies

I still stand by my point though. Lack of innovation and new technology investments will ruin FCA, on top of all their other issues.- 38 replies

Correction. One model with a name that no one associates with their minivans and instead only remember a half baked CUV that was prone to premature rusting. My bad.- 38 replies

Good grief man. Always interjecting GM into it. Sorry, but for all of GMs flaws, they are nowhere close to the dire situation that FCA finds itself in as far fuel standards go. No hybrids, no plug ins, no nothing that keeps them afloat with CAFE. That is the point here.- 38 replies

He also forgets that the CT6 is a tweener model. The CTS competes with the ones he mentions and it most certainly has the balls to beat them, i.e. CTS-V. Rumor also has it that a V8 will find its way into the CT6. What will his excuses be at that point?
-
Again with the GM comments. This about FCA, not GM. Anything to deflect from the facts about FCA I guess.

The A8 and 7 Series are more apt here. The S Class, when you start to option it out (never mind the higher base price), shoots into another stratosphere price wise that makes comparing a much cheaper Cadillac kind of pointless. That's just my opinion, mind you, but I feel it is a valid opinion. I do get that the CT6 is a "tweener" size but just further makes my point in regards to any comparison to a bigger and much more expensive S Class. That all changes when the CT8 comes out.
-
And we care not about them, as they will always nitpick anything that doesn't come from das fuhrer lol! The CT6 is a solid triple, just short of a home run, with the 3.0L. The CUE system keeps it at third base but it is ready to steal home with the right update. I will say this though. These comparisons to the S Class need to stop. It was never meant to compete with the S Class, yet people keep insisting on bringing it up in every CT6 article. It's clearly not in the same price bracket and is not equipped the same (not to mention the size). That spot is reserved for the upcoming CT8, which I do think will be a true S Class fighter and rightfully so.

It absolutely will and as much as I like my phone, those cords are the bane of my existence. They are horrible.
-
Very nice write up. I think the Siri issues are more on Apples end. Everything that is asked of Siri has to go through an apple server and then back to your phone. I think these third party decks don't address these very well hence some of the issues I have been reading about.

No worries. Either scenario would have been tragic.

And that definitely but I am betting my bottom dollar on the Ativan being the main culprit. My years working in behavioral health have shown me what can happen when you take too much of that mess, especially if you have a history of depression. Just very sad for his family having to deal with this.
