  1. Agreed but the problem may be having an AWD system that can handle 707HP.
  2. I have no doubt about it succeeding overseas. The US, however, is another matter entirely.
  3. And both of those were great cars (save for the 2.7L Magnum which was a pile of dog s***).
  4. I Iike it but there should not be any black plastic trim outside for $35K. I feel that is a big mistake on Buicks part.
  5. Yes because all of those are the exact same cars as what's on our roads (please note heavy use of sarcasm).
  6. Would expect anything less? You have to go that high (or be that high) in price to get a Benz to beat a "lowly" Chevy.
  7. BS because neither one of them have pictures of them sitting on a bunch of rocks it can't even go over. That's the big point here. I have no horse in this either way.
  8. No worries man. To each their own. I just like that the Durango at least looks like an SUV and not just a tall station wagon. The V8 option is a plus too.
  9. The fact that no one has mentioned either of the Caddies doesn't make the statements about BMWs any less true. This about BMW after all.
  10. The fallacy of your argument is that you expect the higher end market from Benz, not an increase in the bottom feeder market.
  11. The Durango looks 1000 times better than this. They really didn't change that much and it already looks like a five year old design. Just ugly from every angle.
  12. I would be fine with a variation that doesn't look like a boy racer Aztek.
  13. Good to know. I figured it leaned a little conservative given the military presence there but I don't have a problem with it one way or the other. It those far fringe folks on both sides that I can do without. I do have a good friend up there who loves it and the mountains, which I am fan of as well. She pretty much echoes your sentiment.
  14. Any downsides to that area (Colorado Springs. I already know Denver is expensive as hell lol)?
  15. I can second that. The heat does get old at times. Honestly, if I did not have a pool, I'd probably never have a reason to go out to my backyard this time of the year. The wife and I have been talking of relocating to higher ground and cooler weather but the trade off there is that the prolonged cold of some areas are absolute murder to my joints. I experienced that living in Prescott for five years. It was the opposite of Phoenix in terms of weather. It really is a matter of picking your poison but our poison here lately keeps pointing us to Colorado Srpings. That is way too cold for my "raised in the south" blood lol! Beautiful area but those winters would turn me into a hermit.
  16. It can be brutal but if you can handle the three really hot months, the other nine months of much better weather makes it worth it.
  17. Found this on Facebook today and it perfectly sums up Phoenix right now. BTW, calling for 119 today.
  18. Which falls under the heading of "No one cares but you". Just stop the silliness man.
  19. Not to mention that despite the extra room (which minimal Btw), these cars are marketed as performance cars, not family haulers and on the performance front, they fall well short compared to better options out there. Also, regarding the price, how many Civics Type Rs will you actually find for under $35K? My guess is next to none.
  20. Exactly what I'm getting at. I can have a top notch V8 Stang or Camaro for that price. Definitely not marketed to an old school soul like myself.
