  1. A fitness thread... Anyways I know that many of our members who are active on the forum are also some fitness freaks...and I should also consult a doctor on what I should do/go to reddit, but I realized that this place is much better in terms of the variety of folk we have here. So guys right now I am a size 34 waist on my pants & shorts. I'd like to be able to fit in my size 28-30 pants like I could just 15 months ago... I went out for a light jogging/walk the other day. Now I haven't done any kind of jogging/running for a long time...maybe like 6 months. The day before yesterday was when I did my jog. I would do intervals. I realized like I felt so heavy, and I could barely job more than a 100 metres before having to stop. So now I definitely have Delayed onset muscle pain...I did a bike ride instead yesterday. I want to do 3 things - cardio, flexibility and core strength. I don't need to become a meat head. Quiet the opposite - I just want to be able fit in my shorts and be cool again to take off my shirt at the beach or at bbq's like I used to. All tips and techniques appreciated!!!!
  2. Like I said before - the first company to use a Wii Wheel as a steering wheel.....will be a god.
  3. It's too bad. I really hate how there are rumors that more future Jeep models will be built in Europe...and then be imported to the US. What a farce.
  4. Diesel witch hunt it is. Now I suppose why aren't we testing gasoline vehicle to see if they're emissions compliant?
  5. Looks like a pretty nice auto. But that's not real wood trim man...and it SHINY as an SOB.... and I LOVE SHINY SHINY!!!
  6. I have flabby flab. It all gotta go! At rock-bottom prices. Come check out our new and improved flab menu, with more tasty ingredients. Flab for sale!! Flab for sale!!! Get your flab right here!!!
  7. It's not just the shifter from FCA. Every single one of those stupid shifters that return back to centre are really unintuitive, you find them in BMW's, Benz's, and now even some GM models. I'd say even a knob shifter like RAM, 200, Fusion and Jaguars is probably a better solution to a shifter that does not take up a lot of space.
  8. They went ham on carbon fibre and gesture control, instead of EV's and real design. Though I do say, the i8 is sexy, all it needs is their 4.4TT V8.
  9. Didn't Citroen have a 1 spoke wheel?
  10. The new 2017 Accord hybrid beats the Malibu hybrid in efficiency, and power, and conceptually the CR-Z is like the ELR, but actually affordable. There's failures everywhere meng.
  11. Has anyone else seen some images of the Volvo V90 R-Design?!! Most sexifull wagon that's going to be on sale very soon. It is the prophecy, the legend realized - a Viagra pill in the shape of a Volvo wagon. What I mean is that you can get some MAD action going - you're going to attract all the sophisticated women types, all the Subaru Outback babes, and wanna-mommies who initially fell in love with some kind of Nissan mall finder, Chevy Mall Traverser, Ford Mall Explorer, Toyota MallLander, Honda Mall Pilot......
  12. The deception happened in something they had doubled down on to make up for a lack of investment in HEV technology. Now VW is trying to make a wholesale jump straight to EV's. It's going to be very expensive, and without much fruit at first. But also...diesel days are now relegated to even more niche uses. Actually in GTA, and I presume all of Canada now, diesel is usually 10-15 cents cheaper per litre, so if you have a diesel vehicle now subject to the VW recall or diesels in general, you're getting FANTASTIC mileage and paying less at the pump. But it's not a safe bet to hedge on for too long.
  13. None of this changes the way I feel about the CT6. I don't mention it enough, but usually, my sole major criteria is always the way the vehicle looks - and the rest of the stuff just has to be par or if it's better then there is icing on the cake. The CT6 compared to the 7 Series - it's far away better looking. I like the way the interior looks too over the 7 or S or A8, but I can concede that the Germans just have an upper hand on materials used.
  14. Here we go with this... Listen. They clearly state that the BMW was at 7160 miles. and that it had been in the fleet for 2 months. Meaning.. I doubt that BMW dropped off a crip new 740i to C&D when this 2 month period began. That it was a probably broken-in, or at the very least had 3K on the ODO before they got it. Oh.. the picture below tells me that the Cadillac wasn't broken in.. and that just like about 99% of time.. I'm right.. and U ain't C&D 3.0LTT CT6 I asked for proof, and now you gave it. Anyways, it still don't mean the instrumented tests weren't done before. It doesn't matter. The 750 in all variants, including being a LWB only in the US, weighing more and making less power is always faster. It's interesting. Here's the thing - some people just don't get it. I find it interesting all the nonsense over the CT6 being called a flagship beater, when it ain't a flagship. I like it for what it is, not what people pretend it is. Ask Johan about that.
  15. More interesting tidbits - BMW only sells that LWB in U.S, but does not apply the "L" badge anymore. And the claimed acceleration for xDrive models is even faster. Maybe a huge difference has got to be the transmission as well. So maybe the 320 hp is the amount the engine makes at the wheels.
  16. I am so confused, is this a millennial thing? So my 48 years of age is showing. LIES....I know all aboot your stories about Xbox 360...YOU KNOW... You refuse the will of reason. Treachery!!!
  17. It's still an interesting find. Road holding numbers were pretty much the same. So even though the CT6 might be more enjoyable to drive when driven hard (totally against the vehicle's intended function) - the handling capabilities seem pretty much even. But - we don't know when they did the instrumented tests. Maybe they did them before they were broken in or not. Besides - most press vehicles do accumulate miles. Unless you know exactly how many miles the CT6 has during most of it's tests, it's still a big assumption. Some CT6 first drives were obviously prepro's, which do have decent miles on them.
  18. GET BACK ON YUR EXBONE DAVID. PLAY THEM METAL GEARS.
  19. I love the autoplay - you come on this page of the thread and you always hear "Use that bike - it's all tuned up and ready to go"
  20. Dammit - get back on your XBONE and GET MGS5PP, and you'll understands.
  21. David, did you like being Diamond Horse? (Cause I know you're all about alternative transportation and them natural gases!!)
  22. I was just shocked by the numbers. Supposedly, this thing is faster than a CT6 3.0TT that weighs less...and has 84 more HP...as well as more torque... Hurrray, suddenly the car is so much BETTER!!! (NO. )
  23. NOOO!! I want people to do this to the epic reaction: And then I want them to be like: And no, I am not, definitely not: Neither am I: And yes, I know those of you that are doing this: Because: (NOT REALLY...OKAY, I don't know. U WIN) So please, yes join the spectacle yes....watch the reaction videos, yes...the epicness, yesss.
  24. Balth I just realized that I have never done a serious "core" workout. And it showed. Barely did 2 knee push-ups without breaking my back. Did like 4 sit-ups, called it quits. Did 2 butterfly sterches... Managed 10 burpees somehow.... And I'm not exactly portly, but I'm totally unfit, and even when I was slim, I didn't do a lot of core building excercises. When I do cycling now, there is a weird clicking coming from cartilage...it doesn't hurt but...
