GM said that exports do not fall under the operating profit sharing rules of the joint ventures. Take it as you will.

2015 BMW M4 vs. 2016 Chevrolet Camaro SS
The Camaro, equipped correctly is the better performance car to the ATS-V coupe. Not because it's actually better because they made it more special. I just think they should reconsider not small blocking all the performance things in Cadillac. I think the LF4 would make a great VSport engine. Great for the refresh of the CTS in a couple of years. But the V8 - it's the best performance engine GM makes, the small block, and if it's good for beating Porsches, then it's good for beating the roundel and the tri-star. Oh wait- it just beat the roundel - and for all the objective and subjective reasons mentioned. I think BMW has really sunk its engines into the toilet. The i8 has a 3-cylinder after all.

There's ugly candidates. And then there's the worst. Then there's the pure vultures and then there's the filthy scavengers. Thankfully, he's none of those. And probably the only one that isn't any of those either. I mean the best candidate the democrats have is a political aristocrat that lost to Obama. He's just going to replay that at every debate with her. He's gonna make quick work. I like the ego, but he also holds his cards close to his chest. And he's the real reason why the GOP base is finally engaged. If I could vote as a Canadian - well, you who I'll vote for!! Besides - I bet he probably uses I can't believe it's not butter to style his hair. He wins right there.

Trump's awesome. Love the show he put on every debate - the highlights are tasty. I can imagine him making a quick work of any Democrat. Doesn't he want to repeal NAFTA (only because of Mexico). He loves Canada. He got great support from the North East States, and will probably get a lot of support from Northwest too - the folks most like Canada. He's okay with Canada - or maybe I'm being led to believe (which I'm okay with). Mostly because now our oil is cheap for America and, and we're a tiny country, almost like a mutually beneficial relationship that Sharks have with the fish that tail them that eat parasites off of the body of the shark.

Nah, Trumps got it in the bag. I mean it's incredible. He's the cure to cancer of the GOP... like the base of the party loves him, loyal to him to the end. He says a lot of things that are like almost incredible that no one thought of before. Like the wall solution. Damn, real third world nations like India have walls against their neighbours, and they're usually electrified like Jurassic park style. And trade barriers to currency manipulators. Why doesn't just someone give him the internet?! And getting rid of Department of Education aka common core - heck even Canada has school districts implemented across municipalities governed by the provinces...

Does anyone like watching the presidential primary race when they have a chance? I find it quite entertaining.

Well, we've seen that all kinds of companies tank for all kinds of reasons. Many times for building $h!ty cars. Sometimes for being on the wrong side of a major selling point - such as the value of fun and efficiency being sinking because of a major shift to less efficient vehicles. I'm sure the new CX-9 will bring a lot of sales. But I'm sure Mazda is fully using its carbon credits to full effect because other automakers are selling a HUGGGEEE (uuggge) number of comparatively inefficient vehicles.

The dream of every marketer is to charge more for a product if it has intangible value that you can quantify and deliver to the customer. Valid point, longevity is nice... But the products are so improved, that to question their longevity now is a laughing affair. We're on the same side. Democrats, Reuplicans. I'm being Republican. GM you're winning, but you can win more - make more money. Yes. Squeeze, drink it up, taste the succulent wallets, leave no stone unturned. (Playing in my mind is the sound of a sizzling steak)

GM could raise the prices of both the Camaro and Corvette by 10k and 20k respectively in ILE and GS, Z06 trims and they'd still have the best performance to price ratios in the entire industry. So, the value pricing hurts them, not because it's not like they're not making money. But that loss of even more money is given back to the customers. Why?! They're loyal, so take it back. Make more money. It's like squeezing an orange. Get every last drop.

The Camaro now gives power to the people. The Corvette doesn't need to anymore. atleast not as much. Here, the they could keep the C7 like a Corvette Classic or something, only available as a GS or above when the C8 comes within a decade, and yeah man... Power to the people?! Hell, no get the money first. Always get the money first. Don't get customers. Get paid.

Mazda has always been a niche player in America - one of the strongest of their kind, and they're not facing a tarnished reputation like VW or subsistence sales like Mitsu. Sales is one thing. But their products are better for enthusiasts, and are also desirable because no one else can replicate their styling. Again, why are you bringing sales? I'd expect sales to go down. For example, the old-gen Mazda 2 is being phased out. Because it's not profitable, and they get more unit sales through Toyota's iA anyways. Companies with big sales - especially chasing for them, fail all the time. Mazda's not in that position.

And yet you FERVENTLY disagreed with me when I pointed out the same problem with the new Fusion Sport and MKZ, despite the Corvette having far greater differentiation in equipment and appeal from a Camaro. I'm not talking about the product stealing sales though. The appeal does not translate to sales. And these are performance cars. I want the Corvette to become a high priced non commodity sports car. An exotic priced like it should be. Again, I want the Z06 to be $100k base price. Lose the volume, but increase the price, and start nickel and diming for options too. GM can make a lot of money. A ton of money. The Camaro can be the value proposition that the Corvette had in the past. I don't expect Lincoln to be fielding race cars in the GTE class for Le Mans either. And I will disagree, but nor will I make this a thread about a luxury car maker when it's about true performance cars. The summary of my argument is that GM can win even more by squeezing all the juice from the wallets - and I want GM to win. They might not have as much volume, but damn. The Corvette, like the Escalade can be something that directly contributes like $20,000 for every sales directly to the bank.

The respect is from other automakers. They're on the wrong side of a fuel glut, but their CX-9 is better than anything from any automaker in that segment for enthusiasts, and therefore is the best, You don't care. And Mazda doesn't care about you. They exist because they tailor to their niche, and the last thing they need to do is compromise their reputation by trying to be everything to everyone.

It's a new Tacoma with some kind off-road package. Or its an Audi A5. or it's a Wrangler.

Geneva Motor Show: Abarth 124 Spider: Comments
I think the respect for Mazda is apparent all over the industry. Other automakers pay money to rebadge their vehicles, then pay Mazda to build them for them, and also pay Mazda again because in this way - Mazda doesn't have to put an unprofitable model into a market that doesn't need it. That's why the Mazda 2 didn't enter the U.S. Toyota offers the scale that Mazda would have wanted for such a vehicle, and anyone stepping up from a Toyota iA to Camry, wanting the Mazda feel would realize how dull that Camry is for the price, and defect to Mazda to emulate the same driving experience in a bigger vehicle. Mazda wins by having other carmakers slap their badges on them. That's amazing. Win-win. Fiat sells a very similar competing coupe. Mazda wins. Toyota sells a competing small car, probably more than the CX-3...Mazda wins.

February 2016: General Motors Co.
The rest of the new Chevy line-up is shaping to be one of the most complete and compelling that GM has had for Chevy in a while. Though I will say, the new Cruze, outside of the RS appearance package looks about what I'd expect from a compact car, as in I see nothing that really sets it apart that much.

Is this VW NEW Corporation Image and Emission Testing?
Yeah. I mean, I agree that V.W. should be punished the full measure of the law... but that doesn't mean I don't consider the double standards - because commercial diesel vehicles and/or diesel powered transportation equipment such as buses, light rail, rolling stock pollute way more than passenger car diesels.
