  1. no its not that bad... i can usually read stuff on C&G haha
  2. sweet! i have a pretty cool microsoft one that has a magnification button... press it and a little window pops up that magnifies whatever you roll it over... useful for me because my vision is astonishingly bad, even while wearing contacts stuff can get blurry if its small enough
  3. well of course... ill be waiting for a Camaro as well i just felt like it brought the price into better perspective when you realized its more expensive than a Cadillac not to mention... i was pretty much stating my personal opinion... i never once said "ew noone will buy this" i simply said that i wouldnt
  4. Im not sitting here saying i dont like horsepower or torque or whatever... in fact its just the opposite... im a huge fan what i was saying... is regardless of what you want... you never really need more than 250hp and to be honest you could probably do just fine with less than that... and either way... the point i was trying to make is that just because a car has a lot of horsepower... doesnt mean its worth as much as they want to charge for it... a 425 hp V8 challenger sounds great to me... but when you tell me that its gunna run me 38k before the dealers do what they do, i wont be able to get a manual for a while AND while i dont hate the styling, its definitely not the most stunning thing i've ever seen... all of a sudden... a 263 hp V6 and absolutely beautiful Cadillac for less money sounds pretty damn good
  5. because clearly... when paying north of 35k for a car... the only thing really worth considering is horsepower... not to mention... when are you really going to need that? will there ever be a point when you say "man... 263 horsepower is nowhere near enough!"? i cant think of one... i wasnt saying the car wont sell... im sure it will... i was merely making a point that there are probably better options available for 38k... at least in my opinion...
  6. haha! that photoshopped pic with the lower beltline has proven my point! i shall now take a victory lap and then sit down, sigh, and wish Lincoln had noticed that before releasing the concept...
  7. at first glance... i loved it... then about a second later it started going downhill... interior is nice tho! and i actually like the grill setup they've been using on their concepts for a while now... but not in this application... looked awesome on the MKR tho upon looking further i have figured out exactly what is wrong with this... because i keep feeling like it should look really good but refuses to... basically whats going on is that the beltline and such is too high off the wheels... seriously, look at the car, then imagine if the top of the hood and the hips were a few inches lower... basically its just too tall from wheels to beltline, take some of that space out and itll look really good... i promise. dont believe me? then chop it and see what happens... im curious as well haha
  8. well lets see... for 38k i can have a bloated cartoon of a 1970s classic OR I can have a well equipped Cadillac that probably handles about 100 times better and actually looks good SUCH a tough decision... of course the other option of having a Camaro for less money... is much more tempting...
  9. eh... a lot of the reason that i dont like mac is that the company seems to value image over practicality... there is no real reason to make a laptop this thin other than to be able to say that you did... they would almost be able to make an arguement for it if it had its own disc drive... but if you need to offer an external drive just to play dvds or run applications off discs then why not just make the damn thing a bit thicker and put the drive inside it? its like their desktop with the cpu and monitor being one unit... cool looking yes but what happens if you have a monitor issue? normally you would be able to buy/borrow/use another monitor and replace the one you have or use the replacement until the other is fixed... with this computer you have to send in the whole thing... so now you dont have a computer for however long the repair may take...
  10. pretty fantastic looking... until i get past the c pillar... where did the decklid go? this is disturbingly close to a hatchback and that almost ruins the whole thing for me... i understand that current trends are leaning towards less decklid... but there is no reason to make it that small... not only does it look bad, it also loses functionality... think of an old fleetwood brougham... the decklid was so big you could put a fiero in the trunk with the right equipment... but these days even in cars that have trunk space nearing the size of the fleetwood (DTS comes to mind) the decklids seem to be shrinking to the point were you need a working knowledge of advanced geometry in order to get a golf bag inside... granted once its in there is a ton more space around it... but what good is having an enormous trunk if you cant fit enormous things in the opening for it?
  11. hahaha awesome story... it will never cease to amaze me the sheer amount of rice that drives on the parkway... i have yet to see anything that tops the circa 1985 cavalier with pep-boys snap on spinners, bleacher seating spoiler and yellow tinted windows tho but the civic you described sounds like it could do it... i hope to see it one day... that story could actually qualify as a Chevy FTW since said rice-alier actually challenged my Monte before its untimely death... but since the cavalier was a Chevy as well... im not so sure it counts...
  12. GREMLIN! of course im kidding... but i felt it had to be said... i apologize for any trauma caused by reading the above exclamation and assume full responsibility for any and all mental and/or emotional breakdowns caused by the mere thought of that car
  13. hmmm... daily driver: G8 GT luxury: CTS-V for fun: 69 Corvette L88 for work: Tahoe or Avalanche
  14. we had a ton of wind last night in Columbus... it was blowing my CTS around... i would've hated driving a van, much less a truck in all that shenanigans
  15. David St. Hubbins: I do not, for one, think that the problem was that the band was down. I think that the problem may have been, that there was a Stonehenge monument on the stage that was in danger of being crushed by a dwarf. Alright? That tended to understate the hugeness of the object. Ian Faith: I really think you're just making much too big a thing out of it. Derek Smalls: Making a big thing out of it would have been a good idea.
  16. its so black... its like... how much more black can it be? and the answer is none... none more black
  17. reg i think this thread would be much better in dobly
  18. bleh... i appreciate BMW's effort to get away from their previously bore-tastic designs... but really... this is over the top general shape looks pretty good but that front end... man... i just... ugh
  19. oh my... im so sorry to hear about this... glad to hear you're mostly okay tho...
  20. a bright yellow Murcielago being followed by a bright yellow F430 on Rt. 17... lots of exotics out right now... kinda strange... both of the cars actually went into the same parking lot as i did... they both had yellow aftermarket rims... totally lame, altho the ferrari's werent totally yellow but still enough to look lame... and to top it all off... both cars had vanity plates...
  21. where do the extra 200 lbs come from? whats the purpose of all the carbon fiber and aluminum if this is heavier than the Z06? not to mention the 0.8 liter size difference in engines between the two... rather confusing altho im sure the supercharger and enormous brakes have something to do with that... but not 200 lbs worth

outside of the wheels which are far too large... and im not a fan of colored wheels either... i actually like it... im a sucker for red on black anything tho... haha
  23. a black Mercedes SLR driving down my block and a bright red F430 in a parking lot on Rt. 17 i also saw two white R-classes... they look really weird... almost like they were originally 5 door hatches but then got stretched like putty to minivan size
  24. just a heads up on this one... its been moving really fast and being awesome... but for the past 5 minutes anytime i try to go to another page of a thread it shows an error and makes me log in again... ill try again and post the error message i get if it comes up heres the message: "> Board Message Sorry, an error occurred. If you are unsure on how to use a feature, or don't know why you got this error message, try looking through the help files for more information. The error returned was: Sorry, the link that brought you to this page seems to be out of date or broken." one thing worth noting is that as soon as i input my user name and password it takes me right to the requested page... so the link isnt completely broken...
