A fully restored white 1959 Rolls Royce Silver Cloud being followed by a super stretch Town Car.- Solar Panels for Home Use Heats Up
Ah, that makes so much more sense now, thanks for clarifying!- great pic

Most of the instrumentation looks white...which doesn't look very original. I liek red because it's different...and I think red on black = awesome. Different Strokes of course!- Is it worth it? (auto insurance Q)
I can't afford full coverage otherwise I'd have it on both cars, ad plan to someday. That being said I was extremely lucky that the moron who hit me was faulted.- Getting a lucky break to fix the break.
It's always rewarding to find the parts you want...it's even better if you can install them yourself instead of having someone due it...although i wouldn't know how to install a fixed window Well I dropped everything but the bumper off at the Body Shop since they'd just take up space at the house , the bumper will go there Tuesday when I get it from my friend's house who is kindly storing it. I should take some more photos of the damage though, as all you guys saw was a few night photos while it was in the tow yard. Of course, when it's all done I'll take plenty too :AH-HA_wink: On another note, I love Armor All, that stuff got the small dirt/grease marks off the the back seat where the bumper reenforcement was resting. (I love a clean car)- Autoblog takes a closer look at the G8
Plus, depending on the shade of green, it might remind us of the 80's when all displays were green.- Getting a lucky break to fix the break.
Yesterday my friend and I stopped at Lowell Used Auto to see if they had any Prizms in the yard that I could get the parts I needed off of: trunk lid, rear bumper cover, bumper reenforcement, and the left tail light. I was telling how how it would be nice if I could find one the same color as ours...although it'd be highly unlikely...I've never see a Crimson Cloak Mica in the junkyard before. He told me he didn't think there'd be any way I'd find one the same color and that I'd have to settle for a blue or green or white or whatever one. Which I agreed. As e walked toward the area where the GM products, including Geos, I noticed a red surrounded by Metros and stuff...I couldn't be sure right away because the missing headlights were deceiving, but low and behold, they had a Crimson Cloak Mica Prizm! Immediately I went to the office and told them I'd be back tomorrow to take parts from it and not to do anything to it. Today (Friday) after class and bringing Jessica to see the `71 Caddy and chatting with Sixty8, we headed to the Junkyard, and for about 3 hours worked on getting the parts off. Good things he was their to give me a hand, especially keeping the trunk lid up while I unbolted it. It took about 3 hours, mainly because I couldn't find the damn repair manual for the car so I had to figure out how to take everything apart myself...the fact that it was 85 flippin' degrees (in October!) didn't help either. Eventually though, we got all of the parts we needed and with help from my friend, who showed up with is dad's Quest to take the bumper cover, we were able to get everything we need to fix the car....best of all the paint matches! Originally, when I went their about a month ago for estimates on the parts they told me around $300...today I got them all for $200...I love this place...they're very nice (they helped me get the last bolt off of the bumper reenforcement), great prices, and always happen have what I'm looking for. It helps that I'm a good customer too This is great, because as tight as money is right now, I doubt we could have the car repainted right away (although we eventually plan to). So for now it'll be the original paint, but it won't look mismatched. Now it's just a matter of waiting until the 15th to bring it in to be fixed. Oh yeah, sorry Sixty8 but it looks like they crushed the old Cadillac that had the rear end sawed off...I saw it yesterday but today it was gone. There was a 2nd gen Aurora there too...that was kinda sad to see such a nice car there.- Autoblog takes a closer look at the G8
It only exists in America because of the Charger and it's LX cousins.- Ghoolish Sights
Today... A 2nd gen FireBird at Lowell Used Auto...makes me sad to see it there...it was complete except the blown motor A crushed early 60's T-bird An all original white `64 T-bird convertible on the highway. A red Chevy 3100 Behind it a blue GTO both fully restored Black 1970 Dodge Coronet- Chrysler's new hood ornament:
True that...I'd love to buy one and stick it on the Shadow for fun- Solar Panels for Home Use Heats Up
I have a question...maybe I missed this in the thread...but is the electricity converted from the solar panels stored in say, batteries for evening use? I think it's an excellent idea to use solar energy...it will reduce the use of fossil fuels that electric planets use, and at the same time the price for your energy will never go up...because the sun is free. On top of all that, if you're buying or building a house, $39,00 isn't that bad when you consider the house will cost well over $100,000 anyway.- THINGS ARE 'ROSIE' AGAIN
Don't care...call me when she gets hit by a bus...that'll be news worth caring about.- 2008 Dodge Caliber write up
I think it would be sweet for Dodge to put a turbo 4 in their mid size lineup again, like with the Spirit R/T- 08 Chargers

All the "concept" was the Avenger with a ground effects kit and 19 inch wheels. While the Torana looks plenty production ready, it isn't currently in production now is it? Hence the Apples to Oranges comparison. Sure, I could mistake the Avenger for a Charger...if I were blind perhaps...- Wanna Motorcycle
It could very well be parked, but if the film the camera is good enough it can capture the treads to look like moving...help you can make a helicopter's rotors look like they aren't moving.- Chrysler's new hood ornament:
Seen it before...it's not even actually on the hood.- 08 Chargers
We're comparing a concept to a production model. Yes it has better proportions but it's not an apples to apples comparison...something many of you seem to forget to do. Will you ever mistake an LX for another car? I don't think so.- Hyundai ad

At least they didn't give up the minivan market because they never figured out how to make a good one. Anyway... black Sierra Denali silver Tundra with AutoZone portholes- Pontiac G8 to start at $27,595 | Ordering Guide
Well, some of us would rather listen to a voice to guide us so we don't have to take our eyes off the road than either A.) have to pull over to check or B) try to read the map while driving hence being 1.)Unsafe and distracted 2.) An idiot. This holds especially true when you are the only one driving That's rather unfair, not surprisingly... If you're going to accurately compare the two, you do so with the Charger SXT...which comes with 17 inch wheels, 250 hp 3.5L V6, 5-speed automatic. I'm assuming SXT gets you an upgraded stereo too. That brings the price to $25,685...almost 2 grand less than the G8. Let's compare apples to apples. The G8 Gt pricing sounds fair...it's cheaper than the R/T and not much more than the base G8...you'd be silly not to buy one over the base model. If you're gonna fork over that much coin, you might as well spend a little bit more to get a lot more for the money. I'd like a black GT with a 6-speed manual. Considering Pontiac is the performance brand, it's pretty sad that we'll have to wait for the manual...and just plain retarded that you can't get it with the V6...but the GT is a better buy anyway so I guess it's ok.- 08 Chargers
