lol nothing like spending 30 minutes blowing and pressing up and down her just to get her to turn on. kind of like your mom!

instead of closing Dealers my GM should have stopped forcing inventory on them. or make them outlets where they order a car. they have a couple models and the buyer can choose the options and then GM makes it and delivers it to them.

$136,000 car stolen from Panthers player in south Charlotte
capriceman replied to BigPontiac's topic in The Lounge
It not as bad as what some do. I should steal it aswell and put some 15's back on it with white walls. As C&Gs Caprice fan i hope no one wishes these into a wall. -

That pic with the chick bending over is the best. who took that one?

Well they skim off the bottom because the average person goes to college or starts working. The military is a good 60% kind of not normal and 40% outstanding citizens.

Mostly I wear polo's and khakis. I will wear button up's if its a little cooler outside. If im going to be drafting (with paper and pencil, a lost art) I have a trusty one piece jump suit. When Im working in the shop or on my cars i have some heavy duty Cintas type pants and shirts. If I'm Driving the Vette or going to a meeting I wear my good suits. I have a couple grand in suits my highest end one is a Brioni with light pinstripes. Its comfortable and flexible and looks amazing. When I get out of the vette with my sunglasses on I give off that "whoa there badass" vibe which is a little self gratifying. Also i still have my Formal army uniform which i wear once in a while to go to parades or if we visit Cemetery's.

XKCD is Amazing!! as well as Dilbert I would be mad in a professional environment because at work I tend to be serious if I'm being contacted for help. But I guess that's why I'm called the crotchety old man.

Right now it is 100% The Guess Who's Got no Time because Kim has been on me about not giving here enough attention and I keep telling her that Im set to retire in about 5-10 years and we will spent to much time together. I work 3 days a week over in novi/commerce then I spend 2 days on average either in DC or some other base in the Midwest. And don't get me started on my daughter... kill me... No time left for you On my way to better things No time left for you I’ll find myself some wings No time left for you Distant roads are calling me No time left for you. No time for a summer friend No time for the love you send Seasons change and so did I You need not wonder why You need not wonder why There’s no time left for you No time left for you. No time left for you On my way to better things No time left for you I’ll find myself some wings No time left for you Distant roads are calling me No time left for you. No time for a gentle rain No time for my watch and chain No time for revolving doors No time for the killing floor No time for the killing floor There’s no time left for you No time left for you. No time for a summer friend No time for the love you send Seasons change and so did I You need not wonder why You need not wonder why There’s no time left for you No time left for you. No Time, No Time, No Time, No Time No Time, No Time, No Time, No Time I got, got, got, got no time I got, got, got, got no time I got, got, got, got no time

So you guys don't hard code ARM processors with assemblers? which send binary to a computer via RS232 then a program takes it and sends it to a database then that data goes to a boss and then views it in a nice chart. The problem is this project is due first of august and We just finished the first prototype control box and we don't have any test networks up and running. FML.
-
I really dont know much right now but, Im learning quick. After serving I finished schooling to get my ME\EE degrees so right now at my job we design and implement control boxes for machinery and we are starting to implement feedback to databases so the workers don't have to use gages and manually enter stuff in.

Why does oracle never want to connect to anything. It blows Back in 8i THe microsoft odbc connector thing worked fine then with 9, 10, and 11 oracle released these stupid client that can never find the TNS thingys. Im proposing we switch all or DB's here to M$ SQL 2008. its simple type in server then Database Name and it connects. If my phone rings about another oracle issue I will kill someone. How is oracle so succesful as a company when support sucks and its products suck. Who else cant stand oracle or wants to help me out.

http://www.pcworld.com/article/168050/will..._chrome_os.html Will Consumers Take a Shine to Google’s Chrome OS? Todd R. Weiss Jul 8, 2009 11:30 am Will Consumers Take a Shine to Google’s Chrome OS?Americans love chrome on motorcycles and toasters, but will average consumers take a shine to the Google Chrome operating system? Google announced its lightweight Chrome computer operating system today and says consumers can expect it by the end of 2010. Google describes the operating system as lean and mean and perfect for small Internet-friendly devices that are both easy-to-use and transport - such as a Netbook. True, Netbooks are very popular with consumers right now, but will they be in 2010 and can Google ride the Netbooks' coattails into the heart of consumers? Google Chrome: A Nerd's Dream Come True My guess is that though bleeding edge technology lovers and fanatics will think this is "cool" news, the average technology-hungry consumer will have more questions about this option than answers. Innovation is a great thing, but the question isn't about Google's innovative spirit, it's about what do consumers want and need. After all, consumers don't like too many confusing choices. Ever scratch your head in the laundry detergent aisle at the grocery store asking yourself "do we really need 30 different brands?" Here's what consumers want to know: *What is Chrome? It's a new operating system -- the code the runs all the programs and hardware on a computer or device. Chrome is being built on top of the code that also runs the alternative Linux operating system. Linux is a free and competitive alternative to Windows. *Why should I care? It will be another operating system to consider when buying a Netbook. Your other options are buying a Netbook that runs Linux or Microsoft Windows. *How are operating systems different? Like Fords, Chevrolets and Toyotas, these computer operating systems are built differently, have different features and some are more popular than others. *So does the OS truly matter for me, the consumer? That is the million dollar question. So far, as Netbooks have grown in popularity, it appears that consumers do apparently care which operating system powers their Netbooks, but not for the reasons you might think. They don't care whether it's a Ford or a Honda engine under the hood. Many may not know how to tell a hard drive from a CPU fan or spark plug. But what consumers like is familiarity and comfort. * So are they buying up Netbooks that run Linux because Linux is cool? No. Instead, consumers bought Linux-powered Netbooks initially because that was what the first wave of Netbooks ran to save money. But as Microsoft worked on a smaller, feature-laden version of its Windows operating system to power Netbooks, manufacturers began buying it cheaply and loading it on to their new Netbooks. And what happened to the Netbook marketplace after Windows started appearing on Netbooks? Well, that's when consumers saw the Windows label, which is familiar and friendly, and decided to buy the Windows versions because they already know how to use them and are familiar with them. Since then, the Linux-powered Netbook market has fallen drastically, according to industry analysts, while Windows versions are today's shiny chrome on a fancy Harley-Davidson. It gets consumers in the door and helps make the sale. What consumers do care about, though, is whether Chrome or any other new operating system will run their favorite programs, like Apple's iTunes or Microsoft Office. Those will be among the measures of success for Chrome or anything that follows it. We'll have to wait to get those answers. So what's this all mean for Google? Well, wanting to be innovative is a great thing. But this looks like a hard road that Google is about to enter. That's not to say they shouldn't do it. The question is, what will you, the consumer, get out of it. Americans love chrome. But will they love this Chrome? Let the polishing begin.
