  8. maybe he'll be the first to go if cuba ever invades... he's about as stupid as that woman who cast her vote on the CAFE legislation because of her instant MPG readings....
  9. you couldnt be more right. im a radiologic technologist. my hospital was supposed to see $24 million last year. when it was all said and done we had an income of only 3.5 mil after all the math was done it was figured up that our hospital lost 18.3 million dollars last year. why? people couldnt pay their medical bills. now construction that is currently going on to update the hosptital has been put on hold in the unnecessary areas. spending has been cut which means less up to date equipment and services. also there are rumors of layoffs and skeleton crews running the place. just to give you a picture this hospital was founded in 1905 and operated in the black up until 3 yrs ago.
  10. "Sure it will hurt. But so did having my appendix out last week. A few painkillers, and you'll get over it." Are you sure they did not take your brain out too? Show me a country that gets by on Wal-Mart jobs, and I will show you a third world country. I am sure this guy is writing this garbage from the basement of his partent's house because he never had to go out and work for anything. i wish i could correct this guys comment. he lives there not because he never had to get out and do anything, its more like the degree he paid 40K for amounts to nothing so he cant use it to get a job. you know people write this stuff and there are readers who cant make a decision under their own right to save their life that go around preaching it like the gospel truth. gas hog buicks? let me guess you are looking at the 1974 mileage ratings right? bloggers.... theres another waste of space for you, if you get out of the basement and see the light you may be suprised.
  11. dont worry he'll get his when no one can afforda wallstreet journal subscription because of econimic collapse.
  12. A. They Do? What is it? cause if it is the prius you speak of i would like to sit in the car and watch you consistently get that mileage. B. for $80K+ it had better park itself and be able to give me a happy ending C. whay are you comparing lexus and S-class features to Chevy and Ford cars that dont cost more than 40K to begin with. hey my HD v-rod has this... why doesnt your honda 250 have that too? - sounds kinda dumb doesnt it?
  13. ... and i thought that the people who go tmarried on WOW were strange
  14. i dont know, we only have bmw. that was supposed to start a manufacturing boom for us but it really hasnt. we really really REALLY wanted benz but were too "poor" to coax them to settle in.
  15. when i was in high school all four windows were either up or down. my friends called them bomb bay doors cause you could lose a person out of them hehe. the trim that i replaced on there was knicked up cause there was a bind down in there so i am a little weary of dropping them in the event of them getting scratched or bent. as for the nova thats my dad's new play pretty. picked it up in Cherokee about a month ago. it is fat nasty, 550hp 427 with an 850 double pumper a full racing th400 tranny with a ford 9" 3.73 rear. on the drive home the temp guage read 140 in clean air, 175 at red lights. we still havent opened it up. has to be a strong 12.5 1/4 car.

  21. i think that showed up in the lounge not too long ago.
  22. my grandfather worked in a mill as a shift manager, he got tired of that and took up masonry. started his own masonry business and when my dad graduated highschool he becan a mason (started working for pop when he was 16) my dad just turned 50 last month and is still working as a mason but he isnt happy anymore anout what he does. he takes great pride in saying we built this and we did that just like you say LT but there is a difference in how he says it now than how he said it 10 yrs ago. he just recently took a $5 paycut because down here "cheaper" labor is plentiful. everything from mason, tile, even electrical and drywall is getting swallowed up. the thing that kills me though is now my dad is out there killing himself in the weather for the same money he was making back in the late 90's. the cheap labor isnt saving them money either. they screw up walls, and mess stuff up all the time. the company just has to bear it though because the other crews are undercutting his crews by $200K on the for the jobs. My dad built our house. he laid the foundation, framed it, roofed it. bricked it. we have a 20ft X 15ft rock wall with a fireplace in the great room and i can tell you the man knows his game... but everyone wants things cheap... you get what you pay for.
  23. eh, dont really matter to me whether it makes it or not. this only says delayed a year. i prefer the structure and safety of the fixed roof.
  24. The Camaro convertible is off the table probably for a year as GM tries to save cash and claw its way back to profitability. Analysts predict U.S. car and light truck sales in '09 will be even worse than in '08 and the Chevy Volt and Cruze will have to succeed before GM can spend on such extravagances. Whether the Camaro convertible comes back from the hiatus depends on how well GM weathers the storm. If GM's situation improves, Chevrolet could return the Camaro convertible to its product plans for the 2011 model year, just in time to add a fresh new version of the car. http://www.motortrend.com/features/auto_ne...hold/index.html
