  1. family cars should appease the majority, a pony car should be built for the enthusiest
  2. i totally agree with Camino and 68.... im only 17, so the automotive world i was born into was full of computers, airbags, and more computers..... i daily drive my 71 nova almost 40 miles a day... my 36 year old hunk o' junk was built in a time when cars were built without compromise..... my car, in its generation, was not offered pillarless.... i hate my b pillar... one reason i love pre 70's cars is the pillarless look... like Camino said.. its not just the piece of metal... its the concept of habing to compromise.... are you telling me that they cant build a pillarless coupe today? did we forget how after the mid 70's?

  5. from what ive heard, that guy ( NGGA PLZ ) lives a few miles from me (he's a friend of a friend)
  6. all the car enthusiests around here hate them.... NY requires a front plate... for example... 4th gen f bodys ( i have a lot of friends who had them) look like ass with them... another friend was pissed off when he had to drill the nose of his 88 Monte Carlo SS to install a front plate
  7. i did a short research paper last year for english on the history of the muscle car...lol

  11. yesterday i saw the coolest yet saddest thing... walking out of the supermarket i work at, parked next to my 2Door 71 Nova, was a 4 door 71 Nova.... i was looking at the car, the body was so rotted it was non existent!..... it makes me wanna get a 4 door nova tho...lol

  15. sounds like the chuck norris jokes i used to always hear
  16. thats a smart way to share parts... much better that the costs are shared, but the consumer cant tell its the same (unlike a rebadge, where even those who know nothing about cars can tell certain cars share parts)
  17. i dont know why but when automakers mispelled cars and features it always bothered me.... like Stabilitrak...lol
  18. I know this is kinda off topic but... how does a FWD car do a powerslide? do they mean basically ripping the Ebrake to get the car sideways? thats not a powerslide

  22. TOTALLY right XP.... some of those early automotive pioneers were ridiculed (sp?) or even killed tinkering with those early cars..... without them, where the hell would we be?
