  4. ive read about it alot on Stevesnovasite.com and in a recent HOT ROD article.... as long as you have the patience and lots of time... why not.? but theres a LOT of sanding and MANY thin coats to make it work... if you try it, keep us updated!

  6. great pics camino! mine are basically the same... our trip was full of "fun" including blowing the radiator hose and having to stand on the side of the road holding a sign that said "NEED WATER/COOLANT!".. but the show was great.... i was DROOLING over the Yenko Duece and the 454 Camaro....and the burnout contest was sweet.... and anyone who was there during the MISS CARLISLE contest.,.. remember the group of guys honking the airhorn somewhat frequently???? :AH-HA_wink:
  7. i leave tomorrow at 6 pm, should get to the hotel by 9... and be at the show bright and early on saturday morning!

  14. funny story came to mind.. now i LOVE 82-88 monte SS's... one day a very simaliar thing happen... very long story short.... a C Clip snapped in the rear, and next thing we know, the wheel/hub/axel assembly on the drivers side slides out and we're three wheeling down the road for a few hundred feet us> <life

Camino-As much as id like a RWD coupe to be a chevelle, theres a lot of equity in the name, and no matter how perfect you make it, there'll be alot of people against using the chevelle name...the monte name has been on a FWD car for over a decade... so anythings an improvement....thats just my opinion..

  25. me and my friends are making the trip down to PA in june for the ALL GM show, which is gonna be a cool way to celebrate my 17th bday (its the 23rd) we're gonna be cruising down on friday the 22nd, me and my friend Shane in his 70 Chevelle, and my friend Mike and his g/f in his 00 Camaro SS. Gonna spend the night there, and Saturday night leave so we can make the Top Fuel Nationals at Englishtown on the 24th... i cant wait for this trip... so i was curious.. any others here on C&G gonna be there?
