New G8s on their way!
I still like this car alot. Just a shame that the wagon won't come, but I understand their reluctance to bring it considering the fate of other large wagons on the market recently.

2009 Ram Revealed
This truck is a real looker, imo. It's a close second to the Sierra. Here's my best looking list. 1. Sierra 2. 09 Ram 3. Silverado 4. Titan 5. F-150 6. Tundra

Now this is a toy I'd like to have!
I think I just messed myself. That thing is beautiful. Love the long bed with the regular cab much more then the short bed/regular cab configuration.

More Zeta : Crewman Ute as GMC
Ok, this makes sense. I'd love a Crewman ute. It would be the perfect truck for me. Despite my postings to the contrary, I do love the Zeta cars and am rooting for them to come here, but I am afraid they can hurt GM. I think the Crewman would be the perfect model for families who need a light duty truck, and would be more fuel efficient in V-6 form than the tradition full sizers. To GM I say, "Bring it on over!"

I hate to be insensitive, but who says that performance cars are dying with GM? Where was that big announcement? Did I miss it?

Bunnell: B-P-G may each add smaller vehicle
I'm all for a small end Buick, if it meets the expectations that the Enclave has set.

I don't care what sex the CTS Coupe is. It's gorgeous! I'll change my orientation for it. No problemo!

2009 Toyota Venza - it's a Buick
Even though I do kinda like the Venza from that view, the Enclave is far superior to it based on looks, interior room, and superiority in my opinion, unfortunately, the Enclave is not in the same category as the Venza since it just holds 5 people.

VE Sportwagon will not make it to US says Bob Lutz
This is disappointing. I like the looks of the wagon, and I think that initial demand would have been strong, much like the Magnum, but would have tailed off substantially after the car was on the market for a year. Maybe there will be a rear drive wagon based off the Alpha architecture from Cadillac (3 series wagon competitor maybe?).

2009 Impala 50th Anniversary Edition
It's easy to play Monday morning quarterback, especially when 200 or so Mondays have past. The W-body in 1988 was a huge step towards what was competitive at the time, and they were thoroughly modern. Rear wheel drive was not in fashion at that time. The thinking has changed. Since the W-body has aged, so has my love for it. I think it's time to replace it with something more modern, and preferrably rear wheel drive. With the state of the market, gas prices rising, the volume customer does not want a heavy rear wheel drive large sedan. These sedans and coupes will become niche cars, and to have niche cars we need mundane cars like the W-body right now feeding GM's earnings. Without the mundane customer buying quality mundane GM cars, then the enthusiasts would not have cars that cater to their needs at all. The Impala is one of those cars.

Anyone else with me here in thinking that the CTS Coupe Concept will be voted Best Concept at NAIAS? It is simply breathtaking!
