    Once these models arrive, it will truly be the baby Corvette, offering the same bodystyles and everything. I think this will go a long way in improving sales that have slumped. I bet the coupe and targa will double sales.

    I disagree. The Avenger is an example of family resemblance gone wrong.

    To me, a stopgap model is something with a negative connotation. The Astra is truly a world class vehicle. I like to think that the Ion was a stopgap vehicle until we got the Astra.

    Agree, and the Ttype could use a supercharged 3800 stuffed into its engine bay. 240 hp in that thing would make it a real screamer.

    The LeSabre T-type was my favorite Buick second only to the GN's of that time. I wish that LeSabre would have continued on into the 90's with the supercharged 3800. That would have been a pretty stealthy car. That's a beautiful Reatta too. Another favorite Buick. They made some cool stuff back then.
