  1. I think this bypasses the critical question-what do they have to offer us at a reasonable price as enthusiasts?
  2. Agree that boomers might like this more in terms of a sports car. For me...couple of years my youngest will be away at college. 35K would buy a nice used Boxster or Cayman...
  3. I love green, and lots of it...
  4. Sweet...I need to visit you in New jersey so we can cruise around in this thing...
  5. We still need to get back together.... And yes, Ohio isn't a bad place to live...all things considered...
  6. I will quite happily grant you that the C class is a well executed car.
  7. E pace might be of interest also.
  8. I would probably go with niether of the above as there are a number of better choices available. We're I to buy a RWD FCA car, it would be a Challenger in something like plum crazy purple with a Hemi...but my personality is a little bit different.
  9. China will own everything, one reason Ford is beneath my lowest level of concieveable contempt right now for outsourcing the Focus to China. This will not end well for a number of reasons.
  10. I thought hard about a renegade or Compass before we bought the Beetle. My wife was not all that impressed when we made a showroom visit... I do like how FCA offers colors and option packages and tries to give you what you want with a vehicle.
  11. I love VW but they are very good at shooting themselves in the foot. Scirocco anyone?
  12. I really like how it all is laid out....Rhino must be a west coast color, cannot get it on Jeep website here in Ohio.
  13. Its absolutely freaking gorgeous...black rims are just killer on that....your son has fantastic taste in cars!
  14. Nothing wrong with that at all...and now improved with Ohio plates!
  15. There will be a stream of them flowing out of the factory...business will be golden!
  16. The GC is just much better proportioned methinks... It has me seriously thinking SUV with the next vehicle. I let my wife pick the Beetle, she says I have free reign (within reason) on the next car. You all know how much i love the Miata and how much i enjoyed mine...the GC is one of the few vehicles on the planet that could give the Miata a serious run for my next vehicle. Also adding...that same treatment in black would be just badass.... Sorry for the terrible photograph... Needs blacked out rims and chrome...
  17. I wish them no harm but i don't really wish them well either.
  18. Them is fighting words in these parts... You wouldn't run with the southern Ohio boys.... Maybe if you were willing to risk your Suburban...but no way in hell in that Escalade.
  19. It is badass.... However, X3, Grand cherokee, F Pace Jaguar, and a few others would be my choice ahead of this. Love the wheels and color on that!
  20. But they are not doing hard core wheeling...you are much more likely to see an Xt5 or Escalade with custom rims than a winch on the front, even in Washington state...
  21. Go M blue indeed...I think you can get through the Cold just fine with a Jeep GC...I often think of wearing a Michigan shirt just because OSU fans ahve become so obnoxious.
  22. Smaller size is an attraction for me, as I live in a large city and find myself parallel parking or parking in small lots on a frequent basis. The Cold seems to randomly destroy the testosterone level of certain Michigan residents in that regard...you could say they even go blue....there is a four letter word that describes that...
