  1. Flyin Miata has an LS conversion package....the 1700 horse version in a car that weighs 2200 lbs...a little over a lb per HP....yeah...I could enjoy that! What I would put it in though is an exocet, a kit car that uses Maita suspension bits and driveline and weighs in at about 1200 lbs... This with the 1700 HP twin turbo, please...more than 1 HP per lb....yeah....
  2. People who want to make up false metrics to shame everything that isn't a Benz....seriously...
  3. Throw pitchforks but the Mustang has the best interior by far....not even remotely close. I like all three...and test drove an eco Boost Mustang before my most recent car purchase...but I am kind of burned out by the whole pony car thing. Hate to say it but I might buy a Nismo 370 before I would buy a Challenger...
  4. Ahh....the joys of car shopping with a significant other. Now that she has the Beetle, my wife is very content with the idea of getting rid of the cooper in a couple of years when our daughter is out of high school and replacing it with a Miata. I will be interested to see how you and Albert evolve your fleet...
  5. Kia needs to do something to bring a little excitement to the brand...I like it...kind of a unique vehicle.
  6. A lot of people who autocross cars actually ski. one of the people in the Miata racing community was an Olympic skiing medalist... The sensations are not un alike...
  7. Still nice to have choices though. I still like the Golf Alltrack better....
  8. Ohhhhhhhhh absolutely...it is a good time to be a fan of European cars.
  9. Another C6 and another CTS V Nissan GTR Austin Healy 3000 Several late sixties early seventies GM pickup truck
  10. I have been seeing several of the 84 and 85 lately. 65 ish Lincoln convertible was following me on the way home Toyota vintage FJ 40 Mazdaspeed 6 Air cooled eighties era 911 Model A Jag F Pace 66 Dodge sedan, nice shape, blue
  11. Agreed... I know you prefer American cars, thanks for putting up with my love of European cars. ...but I would damn sure take this jag over any Benz on the planet...
  12. Control board is out of my dishwasher and it is an older dish washer. I think the GE dishwasher that matches our fridge and stove is American made....only issue with the Bosch is that it will not latch and is stuck in regular wash cycle. using woodworking clamps to keep it shut is a red-green-ish hill billy hack but it cleans dishes flawlessly... Checking into Speed Queen...as mad as i get politically at both parties...and at the country...I will buy American when they build an excellent product. I love Sierra Nevada Beer and several other American manufacturers. Speed queen...asked around a bit...checked a few things out...they seem like well made appliances. Will have to seriously consider them, as everything else on the market seems like expensive junk. Thanks for your help!
  13. It pains me greatly to say this as the resident Ford critic, but I think GT 350 R would be my weapon of choice... Agreed! See, if I get the Mustang, you get the Challenger, CP gets the Camaro, Frisky brings an Audi R8, Dfelt brings a Tesla 100, Cubical brings something cool and Ford oriented...a Boss 302 gently used...Dave87Rs brings a z28 Camaro...we can all be in budness....!
  14. Could we please have the admin add "Adore" "Will sell a kidney for this" "Would you like my firstborn" and "Yes I would rock that" to the thumbs up thingies on the bottom right of my screen...
  15. Thanks for your advice...have not had the best of luck with Bosch dishwashers...speed queen it might be...!
  16. I don't think they will be drawing from the same pool of buyers.
  17. Interesting how visually close that is to the Monte Carlo of the era. Nice!
