  1. I'd rather build the Grand National and hang its front wheels in the air! Chris
  2. G6 would be infinitely better than the Vue, IMHO. I would buy a g6 a million to one over a VUE. But that's just me. Chris
  3. Good Luck! Chris
  4. Get well, dude. Glad I'm a fat, slow old man on a bike... But I love being up on two wheels. And love the TDI also, when do we get pics? Chris
  5. We ought to have an Ohio get together. I know of other posters from central Ohio here... At Scmidts is good! Chris
  6. I'll be wishing you a happy birthday as I outrun a Civic at the next autocross... Seriously, happy birthday dude. Chris
  7. Right now, this has to be one of the coolest cars in the whole C and G fleet! Chris
  8. Hey, it's a 5 speed, sweet! Chris
  9. I'll take the Nomad myself, although the GN is a close second. Chris
  10. Kind of funny...but I'd almost take Wal-Mart and the freaks over "normal" people. Normal people are like normal cars, they are kind of boring, imho. Thankfully, no one who posts regularly at Cheers and Gears is anywhere close to what I'd call normal...
  11. The Thurman Cafe downtown has great burgers, they have been written up as one of the ten best burgers in the nation. They buy all their beef fresh from a local slaughterhouse, so what you eat was on the hoof yesterday. They have been family owned since something like 1937 and the beer is just ungodly ice cold, every time. Best wings in Columbus anywhere. I usually get the hottet available, they make me break out into a healthy sweat. The other idea would be Moretti's, the only resteraunt in Dublin i really like, but they are Italian. Personally, I think you'd like the Thurman better. Keep me posted on dates... Chris
  12. Damn, love the car, love the color...hate to see it hurt. but I think 'blu is right, she is a write off as far as I can tell... Chris
  13. If you want to get ill... http://www.houston-imports.com/forums/show...ad.php?t=539745 Chris
  14. Blu... I think he got offended that we were no longer offended by him. Seriously, we seem to have lost another round of members, such as Black Viper, GM4life, et al. Wonder where everyone is going and why they are not hanging around? Chris
  15. True, XLRV. However, I don't think that he's going to sink a ton of cash into this thing. Think he's going to drive it until he gets out of school, and then get a Camaro SS or something. Chris
  16. 67 is actually from Dayton also. What do you like to eat? I'll buy! Would LOVE to meet you. Chris
  17. MaXX or Focus FTW! Although the Intrepid is a damn good car. I owned the sister car, a Chrysler Concorde. Averaged 28-29 MPG, was the cheapest to own of almost all of my cars and perhaps one of the most reliable. But the Focus has a great chasis. You won't go wrong with the Focus. Eleventy billion to one, that would be my vote. Or get an older VW TDI, they can be had for reasonable bucks and 45 MPG isn't going to be something to laugh at if gas goes to 5.50 a gallon. Chris
  18. West Second Street. Tell Mike, Angie, Erica, and the gang I said hi if you go. Chris
  19. That 69 reminds me of a very similar 67 at a car show here in Columbus. They guy who owned it had a 16 year old daughter. Her boyfriend always wanted to know why he couldn't everdrive that Camaro... Chris
  20. Which is what is so cool about this type of event-getting to see good amatuers at work. He drove well indeed. I'd like to meet him. Chris
  21. This is going to become such a mess. Our local Hyundai dealers are considering a class action lawsuit against the government. One dealership in particular, Dennis Hyundai, is owed 1.5 million dollars by the government. Herrenstein Hyundai has over 120 cars they haven't killed or been paid for, and it's going to become a catch 22-they aren't going to get paid until they kill the cars, and they aren't going to kill the cars until they get paid. At $4500 a car, how many new Hyundai trades is THAT? Chris
  22. Ready to go find that vintage car yet Camino-cause that's the only place your gonna get what you want. Good thing you don't ahve children, or you would be depressed when they drove home to see you in their Volts, Priuses, Diesel VW's, et al. When gas hits $5.50 a gallon, that is all that will be left on the market. Trust me. Chris
  23. Neat. Now if I could only get re-united with my 66 Mustang Fastback we would be all set. Chris
  24. The list is probably copied from 2004 or something. Around here, it is pretty rarte to even see an Integra anymore. I can't even think of the last time I saw an Integra, outside of dedicated autocross or track cars with the SCCA. Chris
