White 67 Lemans Convertible, red interior. Must have been sharp new. ...and yes I do like lighter colors on the Chrome bumper cars also. Although if I were to order this new from GM I can think of two words for a color-Reef Turqoise. that color is awesome on a 67 Pontiac. Chris

Actually what I like about this place is that we don't all agree. Where else on the net could you find a boat load of different Camaro's, a mid 70's Chevrolet wagon, a Prius, two 59 Buicks, a few Bezes, an Avanti, A few Cobalt SS's. Corvettes, A MINI or two, a Miata, a few cutty's, modern Buicks, W body Impala's, Soltices, BMW's, GMC trucks, a model A ford, a Buick Century, Cobalt, El Camino, Lincoln, CTS-V,68 Benneville ragtop, etc. It would be boring if we all drove the same C-4 Corvette or something. Like I said in another post, long drive, rock and roll (or whatever you wish to listen to) heart attack on a plate for a meal will do wonders. Sometimes you just need to clear your head. Chris

Hey balthazar, we cana gree on 60's Pontiacs! I know lots of people who are into Miata's and only a few who are into 60's Pontiacs. As such I enjoy reading what you write. As I said in another post...diversity makes the (automotive) world go round. Chris

Bubletop+wagon=Camino I like it, but I think it would be difficult to pull off and make it look right. But I like it. Chris

One of our local SCCA members, Brian, who runs Aujtobody Specialists in Grandview built a nearly identical truck to this. It is blue with a big block IIRC. Chris

Not sure why you would need a buble top, unless you wanted a shortened buble top for an E/C. I'll check my Ohio Junkyards again, seems like I remember seeing a B/O/P bubletop of some flavor here, and I know I've seen several old wagons. Chris

It is a wonderful car. IIRC it set speed records at Bonneville. Not sure if it was an SS, but I think it was. Seems like I remember reading about female undergrad students building it and some established driver racing it. With the 300 HP upgrade, having 130 HP on a Cooper S would be nothing to sneeze at. I could have a LOT of fun with that car. Chris
