  1. ...and GMTG74, Satty...keep us posted... Chris
  2. I love real walnut trim in a car. Chris
  3. Brainless ideas I have that you can hate: C and G drives of GM cars on a regular basis, letting us have a really good review of the good, bad, and ugly of the current GM lineup. A pic section that had pics of both GM heritage and GM current vehicles. A section devoted to non automotive GM stuff like EMD, etc. C and G get togethers (sorry I missed you guys in Michigan!) to help us all pull together. Wrenching get togethers (VW TDI club does this, works great). Pic a few projects, fire up the BBQ, or make chilli, and have a wrenching party. Local get togethers for GM fans. I am one of the few people I know in Columbus, Ohio that likes anything GM built past 1972, and I am NOT kidding. The VW TDI club has a get together every third Friday at a local pizza joint. We could do the same thing...get a Pittsburg group, a Columbus Group, a Detroit group, a Philly group, a New Jersey group, etc. Even if it was only quarterly or bimonthly I think it would be great. More actual real technical articles, not just which windshield washer fluid or wax should I use. Historical articles about GM heritage vehicles with lots of pics. I had almost lost the B-59 off of my radar when I came here...how many cool vehicles has GM built? Glad I'm volunteering you guys for all this work...seriously...if I can do anything, let me know. Chris
  4. Glad I've got someone to share some Sentra hate with. Just a Godawful car. Chris
  5. For me, it's the Sentra I've got as a rental while the Miata is in the body shop. Amazingly horrible suspension and handling, cheap, thin paint, not very impressive build quality, ugly as home made sin. It is the one car on the planet not even Jeremy Clarkson of Top Gear has enough sarcasm to diss. Chris
  6. ...as Sexy as a BMW M... Chris
  7. I hear you GMTG74. Glad to know there are other people here only attracted to a few new GM vehicles. Used new Bu V6 perhaps? Or go cheap, get a Malibu Maxx, and then spend some coin on a nice vintage GMC truck. Or get that Scion TC your step son is lusting after....(NOT!) Chris
  8. I want that 65 in my garage. Although a 66 GT ragtop in the dark blue with a 4 speed is really what I want. Chris
  9. His wife's comments are exactly why I autocross. Keep it safe, keep it real, keep it off the streets. Something like tail of the dragon is good driving at 6 or 7 tenths, when you can feel the car work and enjoy the scenery. Not so much fun to race on a public road. Chris
  10. Trading in both the Prius and the Buick? Doubt CFC will go for that with the paperwork issue but??? Chris
  11. Agreed, methinks a G6 and a Buick are in (GMCTG74) his future.
  12. +1 Couldn't have said it better myself, Rob. Chris
  13. I do too, but the Charger police cars and the Charger's in the Chryco heritage colors. Chris
  14. When your young and in love, good things happen! Chris
  15. She was in Columbus not long ago... Chris
  16. http://www.solsticeforum.com/forum/f35/off...ondition-58623/ BTW, meant to say at the Tail of the dragon... Chris
  17. Amazing stupidity. Chris
  18. ding, ding, ding, we have a winner. Chris
  19. Seeing lots of imports around here in the Cash 4 Clunkers thing. Ford dealer nearest to me has two lexus, the Pick and Pull has a CFC Lexus that is clean and nice (or was rather) the Local Honda dealer has two Lexus in the CFC line, Toyota dealer has a Lexus in the CFC line, 4 or 5 Toyota trucks in the CFC line at a Chevy dealer in Cincy. Also in the CFC lines...a nice maroon Aurora, clean, very low miles and sweet...sad. A nice 97ish Mustang GT. A Red Benz wagon of some sort. (when was the last time you saw a Red Benz wagon?) A trashed Iroc with T tops. Would have been a parts car even without C F C. Chris
