  1. Wife's car is an 05 and it is at 108,000, going to go home and change the oil. Chevy Truck I drive at work is at 225 K or thereaboouts. Chris
  2. Old Cadillacs are cool. Forgot to mention, a mid 60's 4 door hardtop in tan drove through the parking lot at the TDI club get together right before that Ferrari. Seems like there are always interesting cars out there when we have our meetings. Last month IIRC we had a BMW Clownshoe Coupe drive through the lot... Chris
  3. The heat has made everyone's A/C break, so I have cleaned up running service calls. Is beautiful here...I am about to put the top down, drive home, and take my son to Columbus Motor Speedway to watch the roundy rounds... Chris
  4. Also...a red MGB ragtop, running down US 23 this Ayem. Wish I could have gone to the grand am at Mid ohio this weekend, but we got backed up on service calls and I ended up working. Wicked 85ish Monte SS drag car on a trailer, flat black... Another Solstice Targa, also black... Chris
  5. A few interesting things.... A beautiful early E type Jag, red, where I had previously seen a 57 red Corvette. Another Studebaker Golden Hawk, also red, different car than the one I saw earlier. Parked out in front of Carl's Townhouse in Chillicothe. Carl's is a diner that was actually part of the 1939 worlds fair and was brought to Ohio in 1940. It and the Studebaker were both quite well preserved for their age. A beaufiul green 71 Dodge charger, not sure if it was called Sublime still in 71 or there was another name. New Charger in the bright yellow... A beautiful 71 SS El Camino, blue on blue, NICE! A really nice 55 Chevy 210 2 door, dark green, almost like british racing green, just loafing along on the highway this ayem. And last night at VW TDI club...a new Ferrari, not sure which model, comes rolling through the parking lot while we are all outside looking at each others cars. Coming home from TDI club with my 11 year old son Daniel, we started running beside a beauful dark blue 69 or 70 Cadillac convertible, white interior, top down, older gentleman driving the car. VW Eos pulls up in the other lane, top down, two very pretty females riding in it. Was really cool running through traffic at twilight, three VERY different convertibles, top down, rolling 80+ side by side through traffic... Also, I know where a 63 Split window has been sitting under a cover in a driveway for 30 years. Drove by it again...still sitting there. Chris
  6. Out of hell
  7. That old mini is badass! I sooo want a LBC (little british car) .... would take the mini before I'd own the Hummer... Thanks for posting this, 'blu. Chris
  8. Oh, and lastly...it would be cool to have anothe black MOPAR in someone's sig around here... Chris
  9. I used to drive by the Atlanta Hapeville plant often when I lived in Atlanta. Sadly, that plant is no longer in operation. One of my best friends from the SCCA spent a summer way back when he was in college helping repair the roof on that plant. Given how hot Atlanta gets in the summer, I am sure that was one hot job... Chris
  10. That thing looks good in every color, but best in the blue IMHO. Esp. the lighter B5 blue, or the one petty blue car they built #43 off of the line... Great looking MOPAR! Chris
  11. ...bingo, we have a winner... Chris
  12. I would stick with M1 in the 'balt...and nothing wrong with AC Delco filters...I've used them on every GM car I've owned and I love them! Chris
  13. I would agree with Oldsmoboi and Dodgefan. Although I've also run Shell Rotella in older gas motors and not had a problem with it... Chris
  14. ...and since I am a dumbass when it comes to computers, could you add that to my sig line...please? WOW! I am in awe... Chris
  15. I'm in lust! But it creates a moral dilema, because after looking at THAT I no longer want a GM car. Maybe I should start posting at allpar? THANKS DF! Chris
  16. PM SENT! Cha Cha CHA CHARGER for the Chrisman! Chris
  17. I think it is quite funny, and I am laughing at it...but you've got to admit, in this thread we do sound like the Scion guys... Chris
  18. I'm going to go shoot a deer this fall in honor of Peta. Chris
  19. That's because bacteria is smarter than the average American voter, Democrat or Republican. And I'm not kidding, dammit! Chris
  20. Amazing...I came here because of the level of maturity, and now C and G trails the Scion forums in the level of maturity of posts. Glad ya'll are blowing off and having fun, but... \ Chris
  21. An oragne 71 Cutlass that looked good, and a new Impala SS in black sitting on a dealer lot in Circleville. Chris
  22. Really for small cars the Fit is the head of the class, and nothing else in the Sub-sub compact field seems to matter. Ford might have a few things to say about that in a few months though. Chris
  23. For me, it's easy...Mitsubishi Lancer. Ugly as sin. Pick just one car for this thread please.... Chris
  24. Glad to hear you have a barn full! Chris
