  1. Reasonable, simple regulation is a great thing. Put everyone on the same playing field and let them duke it out, free market style. But do it with reasonable regulations...don't have one set for the regular banking system and one set for the investment or "shadow" banks. Government caused this by not being proactive. Chris
  2. Neither can I. The Malibu and Fusion are much better cars. Chris
  3. It comes with the paper bag, as well a a dominatrix with a whip and a blindfold. You in? Besides, your looking at this all wrong. G3, G5, G6, G8. A string of G cars...and we all know G strings bring excitement. Chris
  4. Look at the fullsize cars of the 50's and 60's. Or the Corvair, the second gen was actually a decent car. Or EMD locomotives or... Chris
  5. Time for another editorial mentioning the Cimmerson and the Aztek, methinks.
  6. GM is doing almost as well as MINI, and better than its Asian competition. Let's see what happens next with a leaner, meaner, GM.
  7. I like what your thinking, actually. It certainly is a good enough car for that IMHO. Now a Sky Targa with the wreath and Crest...hmmm I'd be buyin another GM product. Chris
  8. WOW on the Maserati. Chris
  9. Preach it mr. Oldsmoboi! Chris
  10. Let's just hope that as GM comes back to life, Cheers and Gears follows suit. That being said...way to go GM! Chris
  11. Hey it's cash for GM and jobs for here. China isn't all evil. Chris
  12. Remember me saying that Scion would go away...and that our family currently uses a first gen xB, so it's just not typical C and G anti Toyota BS? Look at the sales figures for the TC and xD...barely out of the hundreds...and off worse than the Civic. More of those good times brought on by deregulated free markets. If we're going to bring back the failed politics of Hoover and "Cal" Coolidge, could we please bring back the cool cars of that era and politely dispense with the $h!boxes we have on the road now? Just a thought... Chris
  13. ...but the new Maxima is almost as pretty as a base G5. Why are they having this kind of sales loss? Chris
  14. Hmm...and Civic sales are off 61% for the month. GM clearly should have built more fuel efficient Honda like vehicles and they wouldn't be in the shape they are in. SHAME ON GM FOR THIS! (irony meter pegs) Chris
  15. We're enjoying the free market effects of the deregulated banking system that Teh Ricer Civic was talking about. How nice of Honda to share in the joy. Chris
  16. +1 Chris
  17. Actually to me this is futuristic, as it looks like a 2016 model. Chris
  18. +1 Chris. I think a small sedan-coupe similar to the 1 series BMW with the Turbo Ecotech and RWD would be a killer Pontiac. Also, a GTO based on the new Camaro, since the new Camaro is roughloy the same size as an older (68-72) GTO. Also, a real full sized Pontiac based on the Lucerne...somthing softer and more elgant than the G8. In Victorian times, it was common to build a femininne and masculine version of the same house next to each other, to compliment each other. I would like to see the same with a Pontiac design-more free flowing and BMW like for a fullsize car (and no Pontiac should not ape BMW). But still the thumpin V8 and GXP package. Chris
  19. I am hoping that is what we see, without further cutbacks. TRUST Me, I'm not saying they should be cut...I would have loved to see the Sky live on as a Buick product. Chris
  20. Saw a whole car carrier load of new Camaro's on rt. 23. That new orange color is the cat's ass on that car. Saw a 39 Pontiac rat rod 4 door...nice to see somthing other than billit and chrome on these older cars. Chris
  21. I used to keep small pleco type fish...there are lots of interesting small catfish from South America. Sadly, the aquarium shop near me that always had interesting fish went the way of the dodo bird. Chris
  22. Dealership network rquirement...some dealers need to sell trucks and sell Cadillacs and Buicks but not Chevy's. Buick is dead...for all practical purposes. It will be interesting to see if Buick comes back. Chris
  23. Over near Lancaster when I was passing through I saw a 68 GTO ragtop, green with a tan top and interior, I think it had keystone mag wheels and looked right out of the 70's, as it was painted a different metallic green than the factory color. Did that GTO show up at any local car show's, blu? Chris
  24. What kind of filter system, and what size tank? I had a lot better luck when I switched to 75 gallon tanks, water quality stayed much more stable. Chris
  25. They put smk4565 in the passenger seat and faced him backwards. The vortex effect with all that hot air brought on the extra 15 miles per hour. Chris
