  1. Given the choice I'd say Solstice Targa...But I could live with a Fiero. Did you drive one of the 88's Camino? I think the shifter was one of the things that was changed over time, IIRC. Chris
  2. Really after even about 68 or 70 the big cars started to suffer IMHO. Although I wouldn't mind a fullsize Buick, Pontiac or Cadillac ragtop from 75-76. I've always had a soft spot for the end of the line fullsize GM ragtops, personally. Probably never get around to getting one, but.... Chris
  3. He drives (drove) a hybrid ford SUV. You think he's gonna care about boring cars? Chris
  4. ...and no one says you have to. For me it wouldn't work because there is no head room in the back, and my sons friend Nick is 6'6" and my friend Timmy is 6'7" and neither would fit back there. Hell I'm 5'11 and don't really fit in the back. I don't understand why midsized cars like the Charger or Maxima have such crappy back seats. But the Charger is still growing on me. I like them in the Chryco heritage colors like Sublime, Top Bannana and Plum Crazy. Back to the B4C, is there a registry of these cars somehwere, or a list of stats? I do know manual tranny B4C's are excessively rare. Chris
  5. Yes it is, although I like the mid 70's Grand Prix models. Chris
  6. Real world 13's...? Have you put in that 40 HP Chip into the HHR SS? I've always kind of wanted a Fiero, actually. Chris
  7. ...as a design...the Charger is growing on me... Chris
  8. Another pic... http://www.flyinmiata.com/projects/current..._flip.php?x=869 Chris
  9. Off topic, but an Ls motor will fit in a Miata...nicely... http://www.flyinmiata.com/projects/current..._flip.php?x=872 Makes me think hard...Ls power in a car 1000 lbs lighter than a Firebird... Chris.
  10. ...a pic of it in your garage between the Camino and the Wagon would be awesome.... Chris
  11. Cool! Either I never knew or had forgotten you owned a modern Goat. Chris
  12. I've actually seen two seperate versions of the Pontiac Aerocoupe running around Columbus here. One is silver and I honestly forget what color the other one is. Chris
  13. ...oh and other than the Firehawk, what LS1 cars have you owned, Camino? Chris
  14. I actually never understood just how good an LS powered car sounded until I drove alongside of a few in traffic with the top down in my car. That motor just sounds sooooo gooood. Better even IMHO than a Hemi running WFO out at trails during the Mopar nats...and actually given the performance potential, probably FASTER than the Hemi's also. Chris
  15. Shhh...it's a rare Chrysler prototype he has...with factory installed "flow through" ventilation. Actually, There are a couple of very intact Shadows with no rust down at the local pick-en pull. If you wanted another project after the Intrepid, I may have a body donor for you. Chris
  16. The Pontiac GP version is also very uncommon, yes? Chris
  17. The 69 For sure...not this eme. day weekend, but sometime when you are in Ohio we should hook up for lunch or something. Chris
  18. Oh, and watching this made the hair on the back of my neck stand strait up. God I'd love to own an LS1 car... Chris
  19. Preach it Mr. Sixty Eight! I drive US 23 to Chillocothe every day going to work. 23 is a major drug pipeline and a major speed zone so cops patrol the thing like its the Berlin wall. Saw 7 cars pulled over on my way to work yesterday ayem.... Only bright side is that they are using some Charger Hemi patrol cars which are about eleventy billion times better looking than a crown vic. I got nailed for 77 in a 55 about 3 months ago...just wasn't thinking...first ticket in 15 years. Chris
  20. ...and in the main videro, lots of Firebird Action... Very nice, 442! Chris
  21. The Tiger Scores again! 1966 GTO has a very cute dark haired gal driving it...and she can drive a 4 speed! I need a car like that...WOW! Chris Now on to the main Video
  22. As a small car fan...I am really happy. Mito may be coming here from Alfa/Fiat, a 500 based small car may come, the cooper will remain in production, the Solstice and Sky will hang around for another year, even though the SS is going the HHR is staying in production, the Focus and Fiesta are coming here, I'm starting to like the Nissan Cube...should be lots of cool small stuff on the market. Plus the Chevy Cruz looks good also... Chris
  23. ....all I'm saying is that experience is worth a lot. GM will loose out regardless... And +1 on the new Camaro thing. You need one, GM4life. I saw one today at the local Chevy dealer and had myself a look. Pretty awesome! Chris
  24. ...sad thing is, GM is going to see a lot of talent walk out the door any way you look at it. Building cars ain't easy, and 30 year people are tough to replace. Chris
