  1. I'm down to teh DTS, Lucerne, Impala and LaX CXL... they'll all be toast soon. This.
  2. We want to keep hearing updates about your various projects, so don't be a stranger.
  3. All Pontiacs except Vibe ending MY2009... Vibe Ending MY2010. PCS, K.C. and caddcruiser are three lucky bastards is all I'm going to say.
  4. they still use the New Look busses in Calgary.
  5. If it makes you feel better it's blizzarding outside up here.
  6. Should that happen I'll move to the country and bury my Impala and the big Cadillac I'll no doubt pick up in a concrete box in the back forty...
  7. My dad is still waiting on that one... I don't think he gets it. If this was a politically motivated decision than GMC would not have been spared, trust me.
  8. The C6 is a beautiful car and I love the rampant design individuality... it's so backwards that I just can't get enough of it.
  9. Agreed... China is GM's largest market so why can't they have their own dedicated brand, that we don't get here? If you're losing money operating in North America then why bother continuing when you can maximize your profits by focusing the brand to the people who are actually consuming.
  10. Very True. In the interests of full disclosure Canadian Dollar = 0.8 USD, Canadian Inflation Rate= 1.1-1.2 %, prevailing interest rates slightly higher than in the United States, unemployment just under 6% where I live... Case study in my post is a 50-60K CDN$ Cadillac DTS that depreciates bigtime...
  11. With the Intrepid (+ another 60k) under a cover in the garage I hope I wouldn't mind a Euro-Focus Cabrio either.
  12. Different strain, different animal source, and SARS was a lot more contagious AFAIK. I don't know if everybody up here will get subsidized immunizations, at the very least health care professionals, critical government employees and people who work in infrastructure but I know my mom will get one (she's an RN) and maybe I'll get one because of where I work... I understand the strain that is causing the problem responds well to Tamiflu. From all the colds that my younger brother is constantly bringing into the house because of school (I call it a rodent's den) it could be helpful that this is all breaking as school goes out for the summer...maybe it won't spread as easy in that sense.
  13. The current Gen is on the narrow side as well, trust me. When you sit in one and an Impala in the same showroom back to back you definitely appreciate the extra shoulder, hip and knee room even if you're a man of diminutive stature like myself.
  14. Nein... and Camino I'm starting to think that unless you plan to keep the car you're buying indefinitely, and with depreciation the way it is today It's almost stupid to plunk down money on a new car anyway... Why pay 50k$ for a car that 8mos and 14k mi later is 33k$
  15. Sounds like the four or so cases in Nova Scotia college students is very mild... Lets hope it stays that way.
  16. In case anybody's interested the info for the Colorado is up... given there's not much to say in terms of changes.
  17. Yeah they're freaking huge... I chock a lot of that up to the slab sided-ness of the car.... and I always liked the Silver Seraph as well...
  18. From what I understand the new Impala is going to go Alpha should they continue to make it.
  19. I'm really liking the Current-Gen LaX CXL in Cocoa for some reason...
  20. It's a compelling angle for sure- but I hope that it doesn't start being picked up in political talking points in Washington because it would only stymie the nation's response to the viral threat through grandstanding and smokescreens. I don't think this will spread like the similar 1919 H1N1 Spanish flu as that pandemic was facilitated by the boys coming home from WWI, what you could call a mass one time migration.
  21. I would've laughed my ass off if you got a pic of PCS's Solstice
  22. That cloth on the Genesis Coupe looks kinda vomit inducing... does it feel any better than it looks?
  23. Yeah you're really opening yourself up on for some trouble ahead on that one... a couple years ago while I was visiting Nova Scotia I drove my Aunt's 'rebuilt' 1999 Volvo V70 XC- a nice wagon that was in great shape for having 300'000km but it just didn't drive right at all... wheels were off camber, it pulled to one side etc, my Aunt said that neither the Volvo dealer nor the independent mechanics she frequented could remedy the situation. She basically unloaded it for a 2007 Fusion SEL AWD.
