  1. HAPPY EASTER
  2. IIRC the FWD Compass uses the 6 speed auto. I am glad I ordered mine with the manual.
  3. New Datsun Altima is too cubist for me, it will not ever achieve the level of THIS
  4. I was over at the Subie dealer last weekend. Brand new building with a giant lot here locally... and about two dozen Crosstreks... out of those... ONE equipped with manual transmission, and of course it was a 2.0i base model, not a Premium.
  5. Somebody in Volvo media management is gonna get chastised for this photo. Does anyone else notice the defect? They forgot to punch out some of the holes in the grille! LOL how does that even HAPPEN?
  6. Sorry but the door handle placement made me think of this and now I cannot unsee it...
  7. OMG this is like a perfected Jeep Compass Trailhawk in Adventure trim (right down to the terrain select knob with rock mode, the wheel arches and the black/machined wheel design) ... I am very intrigued by this... I want a Lunar Green one with white roof. Unless Jeep steps up their game with the Compass... this is now able to cover the "rugged" compact CUV class... the weenie hybrid compact CUV class... it covers ALL the bases very professionally. This and the Aviator OWN New York!
  8. I usually go all-out on sporty trim levels, but on this, I prefer the bling version. It lends a tiny bit of Cadillacness to this thing. Not enough exterior color choices to suit me. Back seat leg room looks fantastic though. Usually on a small crossover like this, the rear seat headrest hits the front seatback when you fold it.
  9. Hey Drewbert. Yes I know the XTWhatever and the Aviator are not direct competitors, I was putting them together in the context of their auto show debuts... I know if I were at that show I would need a drool bucket and someone to lean on while staring at the Aviator. The XTWhatever, not so much.
  10. Looks good. I'm a VW fan in theory but I still prefer the 2019 Edge. Yup, reg, we are still waiting to see Chevy's Murano/Edge competitor... a large-ish, 2-row, sporty CUV. But after seeing the XT4 or whatever, maybe I shouldn't get my hopes up.
  11. Since two big debuts haven't been posted here yet, I just want to say the new Lincoln Aviator is a STUNNER. And the Toyota RAV4 also looks great, it seems to shadow the Jeep Compass with functional and style features (with the addition of a useless hybrid model) while improving on every aspect of the Jeep. It's even got a 4WD mode wheel like the Jeep. I can see a lot of hard work in both of these vehicles and I predict success for both.
  12. The absolutely SMASHING new Aviator (while admittedly a near production version) renders this invisible. It's decent I guess, but the black lower perimeter cheapens the look considerably, I mean, the Buick Encore has less black textured plastic around the lower extremities than this. I'm thinking part of the issue with that is the "sport" trim. And the horizontal jag on the taillights takes away its Cadillac identity, forcing people to get up close to ID it. I agree with SMK on the door trims... plain. Not luxury. I guess they're trying to sell a "first Cadillac" to people who don't know or care about Cadillac history.
  13. Notice he said "trans tunnel" in a FWD compact car.
  14. Poor Balthy...
  15. This is the new 2019 GMC Sierra AT4. According to a GMC spokeshuman, it is the beginning of the AT4 brand at GMC... with EVERY GMC model slated to receive this package. Suddenly I am cautiously intrigued by a Terrain AT4 diesel...
  16. Yoohoo, hello, we still don't know which brand they're sending.
  17. dfelt, Peugeot has been in the transportation business since 1830, and the car business since 1882. They don't need your permission to do a gotdamn thing.
  18. This is what BMW calls "mass production" as it pertains to EV.
  19. Oldsmobile Intrigue in that popular bronze color. Beat, but still answering the call.
  20. This will be cool, just what the doctor ordered.
  21. Here's a whole lotta info on the car: Toyota's press release... dimensions, colors, etc. etc.http://toyotanews.pressroom.toyota.com/releases/hatch+back+all+new+2019+toyota+corolla+hatchback+wows+2018+nyias.htm
  22. Here's the link to Toyota's preview site. 168 hp!https://www.toyota.com/upcoming-vehicles/corollahb/?srchid=sem|GOOGLE|Corolla_HB|Model_Corolla_iM|Corolla_HB_General|Corolla_HB_Reveal_3.22.18|Corolla_HB_UVP&gclid=CPGk_Z_Eh9oCFZGnswodbLgG_A&gclsrc=ds
