    2017 Honda CR-V 6.jpg

Now those are proper chairs... they look extremely comfortable... a lot of automotive seats nowadays are getting narrower and whatnot.
  2. I think it looks great and it has a nice interior. My problem continues to be the CVT. Now the HR-V will have to get bigger for the next round... see how that goes?
  3. I am currently spellbound by the new Bottle Green color on the 2017 Beetle, after having seent it on VWVortex a few munts ago... but when I go to Build & Price over at VW's site... no manual transmission! To that I say... POPPYCOCK!
  4. Local dealer has had three. Black LT, Kinetic Blue LT/RS, and Cajun Red Premiere. The red Premiere was unlocked on Sunday, so I jumped in it and pretended for a bit. I can see now why the lower trim Cruze has better fuel mileage ratings than the Premiere... tiny wheels. The Elantra Eco has tiny wheels too... and the Tucson Eco. But I still want wheels that fill out the fenders. AND FOGLAMPS DAMMIT. So... Cruze Premiere RS hatch it is... even with stop/start and autotragic. In Arctic Blue with Atmosphere leather. I think my mind is ready to stop dallying on this. But the Bottle Green on the '17 Beetle is FANTASTIC.

  6. So... I know a guy who works at a dealership group that sells Mazda, Hyundai, Dodge, Ram, Chrysler, Jeep, Buick and GMC. He's hemming and hawing, putting together a list of vehicles to buy. He's not at all averse to being a company man. He's looking for something that gets good mileage for his commute, but also has personality and good looks, along with practicality and affordability. Mazda CX-3 Mazda 3 Hyundai Tucson Hyundai Accent Sport Hyundai Elantra GT Jeep Renegade Buick Encore These are the finalists on the "company man" list. Which is best for the criteria mentioned?

  8. I went over to VW's site and built an AllTrack. Couldn't find a manual transmission anywhere on the features list... nor is there a brown paint option... although they have a delicious brown leatherette interior color available. I'm not cool with DSG transmissions, having driven them short distances. Too jerky in operation.
  9. Live, rolling footage videos of this Compass filmed in Brazil posted to YouTube really make it look great. Yes reg, it is sized between Renegade and Cherokee. In one of the videos we see an awesome bright blue Trailhawk. Just about all of the Compasses featured have a green "DIESEL" emblem on the tailgate... makes me wonder if Jeep will follow GM's lead and bring a diesel to the USA.
  10. THREE PEDALS? I'm impressed, William Maley!
  11. Yeah there's a warranty on the system... but it's kind of a pain to call them when you wake up in the middle of the night freezing yer butt off. He's got two chuhdren now. Also, he and his old lady recently factory ordered a 2017 Chevrolet Tahoe.
  12. So because he's my brother, he did not do research before spending all that money? If he didn't have a wood burning fireplace, he and his family would have been damn cold last winter.
  13. My brother spent untold thousands on a geothermal climate system for his house and he's had multiple issues with it. The more I observe the minimalist, Euro/Sporty box that is the 2017 Kia Rio from video and photographic evidence, the more I like it.
  14. Is that one of those new Volts? Because I keep looking at those when I lurk the local Chevy lot on Sundays while I search for Cruze hatches and manual Sparks.

    Spied Colorado ZR2

ZR2 = awesome. I think the guys are forgetting though, that the baby Duramax out of the Colorado/Canyon is going into the Express van. That is prolly the reason the vans are there.
  16. Sounds like a series of good moves to me. I am sure Buick customers have been asking why the Regal is 4-cylinder only.
  17. I don't think they want to use it to sneak up on anyone. It has another purpose. Plus with all the current hoopla over electrocution, why didn't GM go with that alternate propulsion method in this truck instead? Because maybe there is something about hydrogen, or this truck in particular, that made the military ask for this instead. I downvoted you because lately you have gone into every single thread and said that whatever the subject of that thread is... it would be better as an EV. Even if it is about puppies and dandelions. Or a ham sandwich. I'm trying to help. WEHT natural gas anyway, sir?
  18. Geometric overload: saw my first new Civic hatch, a battleship gray EX, at the local dealer.
  19. CVT be damned, I think I want to drive an HR-V for myself to make an informed decision. Cheaper than a Trax with sportier looks and a good amount more cargo room.
