    I happened to drive a 200 today too (about 150 feet to put it into the building, as it had been rear-ended in a collision and the trunk won't close), and I have to wholeheartedly agree. First off I hate the dial shifter, and secondly, I've never been in a vehicle that hesitated so oddly after the dial was turned to D, then jumped hard into gear like this 200.

    Like with radio personalities, sometimes it's hard to match the feces to the voice. It's good to have threads like these that allow us to get to know each other a bit.

    Still a lumbering minivan on short stilts. Combine that with an uber-crappy CVT and you have what amounts to a giant slug on wheels, guaranteed to require many trips back to the dealer service department. Other than that I really like it.

    There are innumerable, very plain differences between the two. For example, Bob LUTZ (not Putz) is a vastly experienced auto executive who has REAL WORLD knowledge and business acumen gained over decades all over the world at various automotive entities. He is considered an elder statesman of the industry. Whereas the other guy just STINKS to high heaven.

    Not the owner's fault. Benz's Beta version of autopilot is programmed for a-hole parking. He was merely sitting back and enjoying the ride. The car decided to park that way.

    I want to be the autonomous one. Not my personal transporter. BUT, Tesla and everyone else needs to study psychology. NO ONE READS THE MANUAL. PEOPLE ARE DUMB. EVEN SMART ONES. It is fanboi-ism gone to fatal lemfs in the case of this crash. Another in a long-ass list of reasons Elon and his company need to show some humility. All he's ever done is blame the customer. NAME ONE BAD THING SURROUNDING TESLA THAT HE HAS NOT BLAMED ON THE CUSTOMER.
