  1. There, I put a red mark on your bottom (of your post). Feel like your day is complete now? Lithium Ion battery packs, and electrification in general are like SO LAST YEAR. The people have spoken.
  2. Well it was way too long to read it all, sparky. So no downvote from me. GM discussed doing something like this years ago, it was posted over the interwebs. Nothing ever came of it.
  3. Yup, Beetle Dune should have been AWD. And they need crossovers, competitively priced. Plus Amarok. TDi manual brown Amaroks for EVERYONE!
  4. What you're saying has been discussed before and it was decided that it would not behoove them to move forward with such a harebrained scheme.
  5. Yo skeeterbite... DEFINITELY not on a non-Chevrolet... GM is doing what they can to make the brands unique, that is GM 101, first day of class, first lesson...
  6. I like the current Focus and would buy one as an SE hatch with blackout package... but only if it has a stickshift. That automanual is atrocious, no wonder people hate it far and wide.
  7. Same boat? LOL... totally different ocean, totally different ships, muscle cars and diesels. Why you trippin'?
  8. "You’ll able to tell how smooth or rough various roads are as the suspension will transmit a good amount of the surface into the seats due to the Tacoma retaining a solid-rear axle." No idea what this sentence alludes to. Every genuine pickup truck made has a solid rear axle. It is possible that, like most diesel trucks, the baby Duramax has a throttle that is tuned for smooth getaways while towing, not burnouts.
  9. A very sad situation that was totally unnecessary. VW diesel owners LOVE THEIR VEHICLES. Those newbs who felt "cheated" were not diesel material in the first place.
  10. "Tuning By Corvette" dilutes the icon. No can do!
  11. Considering that it is only a 4 mpg re-thinking... Its still a victory for the "pie-in-the-sky weenies" rather than a slap in the face. 50-52.6 mpg is still a huuuuuuge number to attain. And if it is attained, Id say the "pie-in-the-sky weenies" have had their way.... The weenies (or should I say... vienna sausages) won't even hit 50 mpg. They will be so sad and shriveled. The pool is COLD, weenie bros.
  12. I bought a 1998 ZR2 extended cab manual in dark blue brand new. No way I could afford a new one. It's going to be a tough mother though.
  13. Is that where you hang out?
  14. Hey there. Good to see you posting. I understand what you mean about car design these days, and the lack of easy-riding coupes.
  15. Uh huh. Sure. And Tesla still SUUUUUUCKS!
  16. Good question, I love those rims and tires too.
  17. So the "Jeep" name came about as a shortened form of "GP", which stands for "General Purpose" vehicle.
  18. Every 2016 Jeep model is available in 75th Anniversary regalia. The Concept version is awesome! Here's a picture of my former Patriot, since everyone was asking so hard.
