  1. You woke me up at 3:00 for THIS? Oh, I get it... thanks. I can go back to bed now.
  2. I am so sure the stands are PACKED with people watching this. *YAWN*
  3. Chevy's 20% off sales event had mixed results. Trax definitely benefited, but the beautiful Impala did not. I think Spark got a boost from it too. The Spark is easily the nicest minicar available. I see a lot of new Cruzes on the street, not sure why the figures are so low... ramp-up difficulties? Seems like the Sonic is getting lost in the shuffle between the improved Spark and Cruze. Sonic will have its work cut out when the Cruze hatch comes out. I think the Camaro has two problems. A rehashed look (from a distance) on an excellent new chassis, and high prices v. the traditional rivals. I would also say GM's midsize truck gamble has clearly paid off... even if the horrible Tacoma has the production capacity to keep them at bay.
  4. Not sure if I should believe this.
  5. I am a true blue Chevy fan, but the Camaro is just too expensive. People will always shop it against the Mustang and Challenger... not a BMW M4. 650 horsepower is NOTHING to sneeze at... but at what price? A Mustang 5.0 can be had for $4-$6k less than Camaro SS with disciplined ordering... plus it is dead sexy. The Camaro looks good, if a bit detached, closed in and emotionally unavailable, while the Mustang's been doing squats (dat ass tho!) and is not afraid to flaunt it.
  6. I really liked driving the Renegade Trailhawk to test it out... but it has a 12.7 gallon fuel tank. The reasons I traded my Patriot were... small fuel tank, coupled with so-so fuel mileage for its size, and the CVT. A Renegade at 22 MPG would give a theoretical 280 mile driving range. I believe the Trax would give better mileage than 22, plus it has a 14 gallon tank. A Trax AWD would theoretically be a better commuter vehicle than a Renegade, plus I have no fear of GM daily reliability.
  7. Is it Scarlet Red? Congratulations on your new vehicle!
  8. On my way home from work Monday evening, sawr not one, not two, but THREE last-gen Bonnevilles in traffic... two beige SLEs and one black GXP in great shape, that was a bit of a treat.

  10. You moved to Maryland and drive an old Chevy pickup for work?
  11. Well I did own a Datsun pickup once, for 3 years in the mid-80's. I don't think this new one's that bad. A little French Baroque (Renault?) in spots with some of the exterior trim work, but I like the SV interior, and I am a diehard fan of the regular cab wherever I can get it. So far the sales figures for the new Titan have been more Lilliputian though.
  12. No problemo dude, I was camping and have not been able to tune in.
  13. Should do wonders for ride and handling.
  14. Stay tuned for the Macan, "Tuned by 911" special brougham GT Type R Edition!
  15. Needs Ecodiesel before any pansy-ass plug-in. Also needs a regular cab model.
  16. Is that a GT350. Fits the demographic quite well.
  17. You guys really totally need to get a room. Preferably soundproof.
  18. Yeah, I think they're calling it Hurricane. Hopefully it's not all bluster and hot air. Chrysler hasn't had a decent 4 cylinder since the old 2.2L, imo. They need one bad.
  19. *brush*brush* I will try to find it, but it was several years back.
  20. Ew, really? That time has passed. Better to put the hemi in it.
