  1. Hey, he's in Michigan and he shows a dedication to the auto industry. He gets my vote.
  2. Best way to control your mosquito is to beat the heck out of it as often as possible.
  3. The fever builds!
  4. See, we have a GMC franchise at work, I will need to give our own ppl first shot at pricing one out. SLE extended cab 4X4 V6 with G80 locker... and maybe the all weather floor mat/bed mat package. If Emerald/Rainforest Green is too expensive, then Cyber Gray. I can't help but get my hopes up... it could all be for naught though. We'll see. *bites nails*
  5. People close to the plant have photographed these trucks leaving on car carriers. We're getting close!
  6. Mk IV GTI VR6 with a vinyl "CHECK ENGINE" icon decal on the back glass. What is this I don't
  7. Grass, grass, grass, and you're on a slow but steady and noticeable rise... then... BOOM! You see them ahead of you and you regain your energy... to get there.
  8. Big Sur Key West Tail of the Dragon
  9. Drew - she told me but I forget.
  10. I do believe the diesel engine solution is much more appealing than electrification, by a moon shot. My automotive ADD has been mitigated by this Beetle. I just love that diesel engine, it is quite a gem. I still have to deal with some ppl's perception that the Beetle is a girl's car though. If there were an affordable compact pickup with a diesel, that would be a grail for me I suppose. I even enjoy the clatter that can be heard outside the car... but not inside.
  11. GROUP HUG?
  12. Well yeah, I also think the new Explorer is kind of an heir to the fat ass, slightly jacked minivan masquerading as a quasi-SUV look that the Pacifica pioneered. Look at one from the back next time you're in traffic, a wide load, fat ass lumberer. The Lambdas escape this connotation, imo, because they seem to not squat so low.
  13. Too expensive in the more popular configurations. I'm bereft, but I am only one insignificant po' boy. I am extrapolating that a 4WD ext cab Z71 will be $32k with a puny 4 cylinder, maybe $30k for an LT.
  14. So they're about $8k cheaper than a fullsize... and as often as they throw a "sale to end all sales" on the big trucks, I'm afraid that is not enough of a difference. We were promised "affordable", they are more expensive, to start, than a Tacoma, and just a smidge cheaper than a Frontier. Has a full price chart been published for public consumption?
  15. We worked on enough of them to know that they were junk.
  16. This small offset test has thrown a lot of carmakers for a loop. This is the type of crash I was in that totaled my 2011 Fiesta.
  17. It's been at least six munts since she had to do that.
  18. I think I read somewhere that 3k+ Cruze diesels have been sold so far. Are they even advertising it?
  19. At this juncture, I believe either a buy-out or another Soul lease is the best way to go. Only this time around, a base model instead of a +. The new ones have plenty of kit, no need for her to fret over moving down the trim level hierarchy. She's complaining about the style of alloy wheel on the base model... this is what I'm up against.
  20. ...and we all know how long that lasted...
  21. That blue and silver two-tone xD looks pretty nice.
  22. Well, I got a phone message. No other small car sits up as nice as a Kia Soul. Meaning we need to find a way to get her into another one when the time comes.
  23. ew what
  24. Well I believe I could afford one, but there's no way she could. Her current lease payment is $126.00.
  25. You can also get it in pearl white, the color of semen.
