  1. It's easier, and it is better for the car. It will restore proper dimensions to the width and height of the rear of the car so everything that attaches to it fits properly and looks good when it's done. It would be a bitch to fix all those angles and radii.
  2. Yes they have to replace the bumper, likely with a used assembly, which is a good way to get everything needed. That estimate is written on the CCC estimating system. I've been using that since 1993. EDIT: Yes, the rear body panel is the rear trunk panel, the panel that the trunk striker is on, the bumper covers it. The taillamps are mounted in it. It is a welded-in panel, that's why it lists 7.0 hours labor to replace it. The old one has to be cut out at the original joints.
  3. Make sure everything gets fixed. Maybe they are writing to repair the rear body panel somehow.

    Sleep

How does one simply "make sure" they get 8-9 hours of uninterrupted sleep in one fell swoop?
  5. A six-speed manual is not "standard across the range". It is available only on base trim level, 2WD models. Also, I am disappointed that the rear-seat delete configuration is only offered on the cheapest fleet models. I mean I understand it is to maximize space inside the extended cab for delivery items, tools etc., it would be handy on uplevel trucks as well.
  6. Presidential limo.
  7. Ugh, that looks pretty bad from here. Entire rear bumper, rear body panel, etc. I would say, prepare to fight.
  8. And it is extremely "looks challenged", with a crappy CVT. Suggesting to 1500 Express customers that they need to step down to... THAT, is laughable at best.
  9. So you just sit there in the driver's seat while the guy services you? How convenient!
  10. Uh that is for the 2016 model year.
  11. Uh... dude, that is a 2016 model yerr option. The Order Guide is for the 2015 model yerr. THANKS ROGER!
  12. Was traveling in steep, hilly river country yesterday on my way to a Susquehanna River overlook. Got behind a parade of 4 MG convertibles... and a Mini Roadster, out sightseeing.
  13. They are calling it a hard top because it is not a soft top. And I think a 5 door Mini Cooper is a horrible idea.
  14. 1. Toyota Prius 2. Nissan Leaf 3. Mitsubishi Mirage 4. Any hybrid or electric vehicle I don't understand how any Volkswagen could be on a list of boring cars.

    Sleep

I have serious issues with sleep. I wake up in the middle of the night and then I start thinking about work. All hope is lost at that juncture.
  16. Dodge Deputy with Maryland plates. Faded red/orange glory. Dropping a hairy dude off @ the gymnasium.
  17. Mazda 6 though... drop dead GORGEOUS, even in base form.
  18. Does anyone else have a little gray phallic symbol to the left of their screen? If I roll over it, it has buttons that read "normal" and "performance".
  19. June... wow, it came fast. People are itching to get their cool and unusual vehicles out of mothballs and onto the streets! See how many you can catch, and post 'em here!
