  1. Cool pics, clete.
  2. aww... davey...
  3. The Pontiac Delta II should compete with high-end Jettas and low-end TSXs, depending on trim level. Buick should stay "soft luxury", imo, competing with ES350 and the like.
  4. uh... everything, moltie?
  5. Yeah, he's been slamming "CHANGE" down our throats for months now... and he picks a good ol' boy. But that's all I'll say, I've never wanted to see the Lounge politicized. So I'm out of this thread.
  6. I saw a young man in an Alero coupe the other day. He had it looking very good, with factory-looking quad exhaust pipes, rims (not ricey), lowered just a bit... and it was shiny clean. Keep the faith.
  7. This goatee I have is getting on my nerves now. It takes longer to shave in the morning to keep it shaped correctly. Once it gets to a certain length, it becomes more sensitive, and it can get itchy. When I eat, I am constantly afraid I'll get food in it somewhere. I'm shaving it off, I think. I've gotten a lot of compliments on it though.

    OH OH!

    Cobra Jet package?
  9. As long as Obama wants to jack up CAFE standards to ridiculous, pie-in-the-sky levels, I want nothing to do with him. He comes across as a dreamer with his feet off the ground.
  10. Those old Chryslers were like an authoritarian regime unto themselves. They were just road rulers of the highest... Caliber.
  11. Ted, you've got her cleaned up nice. Good job so far, sir.

    New Camaro

Reminds me of something like a '77-'81 Z28 steel rim.

    New Camaro

Hmm... that steel rim doesn't look bad, imo.
  14. Test-drove an '09 HHR 1LT last evening, 2.2L/auto, in Aqua Blue with tan cloth. They are included in the Employee Pricing deal. I love the color, but I'd choose one with black interior, a 2LT with 5-speed. Anyway, I found it to be very comfortable, smooth and quiet. I can see why these are so popular. And it looks American, a Chevrolet attribute I find familiar, attractive and comforting. But the new Cruze will change all that. Chevrolet is turning into a foreign car... unthinkable.

    OH OH!

Congratulations, mr. ball. I always liked the Freestyle/Taurus X. Let us know all about it.
  16. Happens to me, yup.
  17. Well I guess I'll straggle along here behind the pack and wish you a happy belated.
  18. WD-40.
  19. Chevrolet, the quintessential American brand, goes Korean. That's my take. And it is not a compliment. The Future of GM? Murkier than ever. With Chevrolet becoming a foreign brand... why buy Chevrolet? May as well buy any foreign brand.

    New Camaro

18" "Heritage" steel wheels standard on the base car... is this a revival of the old favorite, Rally wheel?
  21. At the front of a line of traffic waiting at a red light this evening, I noticed a big silver Ram at the cross light coming from my right, waiting to turn left. Two hot rednecks inside. I put the truck in neutral, held the brake, and revved the engine, Flowmasters speaking their language. Their light turned green, they turned and went by me, looking my way and grinning. Then when my light turned green, I took off pretty good, just enough to squeal a tire a tad, but I let off of it when I reached the speed limit. A car I never noticed beside me in the left lane stormed by me like a rocket... a late model Maxima. I floored it, but it was too late, I lost my momentum and couldn't catch him before we had to slow down for the next light. Damn nerd was prolly laughing his ass off at me, I had to laugh too, what the heck.
  22. Brown '74 Cutlass sedan in perfect shape.
  23. Now see, that's what a tiny car should be. WAY more desirable than an Aveo. Stevie Wonder can see that much. It looks decent, except I still cannot warm up to the crappy, plasticky new dashboard. I prefer the old dash.
  24. I think I'll guess: she said "pffft... what ass?"
