That is one desirable automobile. It is a "want", and a "want" is sometimes more powerful than a "need". Hence, GM should make more cars that people will "want".

The Gamma platform should be all GM needs to come back swinging. A Chevrolet and a Cadillac, each color-coded to denote a separate model. And they should look exactly the same except for grilles and taillight lenses. My revised 2015 GM lineup consists of this: White Gamma Chevrolet: Cruze Red Gamma Chevrolet: Corvette Yellow Gamma Chevrolet: Camaro Blue Gamma Chevrolet: Malibu Brown Gamma Chevrolet: Impala Green Gamma Chevrolet: Hybrid Black Gamma Chevrolet: Silverado Pearl White Gamma Cadillac: CTS Firethorn Red Gamma Cadillac: XLR Bronzemist Gamma Cadillac: DTS Ivy Metallic Gamma Cadillac: Hybrid with leather GM will need no more than these stellar automobiles to fight the Asian brands and any remaining domestic competition by that time.

Not bad, imo. I was hoping for these changes for '09, but maybe '09 will be a short model year. Here's hoping some further powertrain changes are coming, as well as the styling improvements. How about a 4 cylinder coupe... 2.4L/manual trans base... 2.0L turbo/manual and auto optional?

Apparently, the spy photos we saw of a G6 with a freshened front end were not of the '09 model... I've seen several '09 G6s on the lots and they look exactly like earlier years.

Well, I'm home. Sleepy, with a headache and a bit sore from dancing my ass off all night last night. It was a very good time, both nights. Merlot sneaks up on a person... and it makes them become sex machines on the dance floor (or total fools, depending on your POV, ha.) Yeah, 26 is an odd year, but nothing got off the ground last year. The parties consisted of folks from classes '80-'85. Of course, they all pale in comparison to the Class of '82, yeah baybee.

This evening after work, I will be heading to Kent Island, MD for the first of two parties in two nights to meet up with some old friends... it's my 26th year High School Reunion. I'm not sure what to expect. I hope I'm not bored to death. I hope I recognize most of those old farts. I hear name tags will be available. So I'll be down there for the weekend. Maybe some hilarity will ensue... who knows. Does anyone have a High School Reunion story to share?

My mom says I'm the best looking guy in school. :AH-HA_wink:
