  1. I drank more in high school more than I do now, and even then I only did on some weekends. Sometimes now I'll go up and visit a buddy of mine up in Bufallo in his dorm and there's been some times where .... well there was a lapse in memory and some things I don't want to remember. But as time goes on, not seeing many of my friends on a regular basis, social drinking has slown down quite a bit for me, and I'm not someone who enjoys drinking alone.
  2. Those issues are just the ones that the shop saw just to get to the problem and make the car leagal, so there's more to it to get the car to stay running. Just those problems alone the shop said well over $1000 to repair. So my dad's gonna bag it and now we're on the look for a new(er) car for my mom. She's a realistic type and knows what the budget limit is so she will tollerate anything (almost), but she's been talking about a Nissan Pathfinder (last gen). Though I've been trying to move her desire to some other suvs. She seems pretty interested in a Trailblazer/Envoy, Liberty, and the Vue she seemed interested if it was reasonable on gas. Pretty much vehicles that are not going to be looked at are compacts/small midsized cars, full size suvs, pickups, and minivans. Tomarrow I might hop to a dealership to take a look. Damn right! Who says that American engines don't last?
  3. That's when you buy a new pair of shoes... you keep the box and give it to him, and tell him you bought his dream car.
  4. http://www.apple.com/trailers/wb/v_for_vendetta/trailer/ Havent seen it yet.. probably will wait till it hits dvd.
  5. What the hell.. count me in too
  6. Replacing his 91 Caprice Classic, my dad bought this car used in 96 with only 30,000 on the clock. He needed something with a smooth ride since for his career (rick management) he travels quite a bit to medical facilities across the state. Both myself and my brother started learning to drive on this car. Over the years, very few mechanical problems have arose so when it was time to buy another car for my brother, they bought a 92 and shortly after my mom's sister had bought a 93. Well, now the time has come that now some mechanical issues are coming up and my parents have probably invested a few thousand into the car to keep it running. At the moment, it leaks gas, oil, has a rotted exhaust, and some sort of electrical problem causing intermittent startup issue. So now, we are parting it out between my brothers car and what ever my aunt/uncle can use on theirs. So for your enjoyment here's one last look of it... Yeah and it just HAD to snow last night too
  7. 2 (Despite the high contrast, I think the velite front end goes well with it) 3
  8. The next one is still going to be based on the Corolla/Matrix platform right? I'm assuming when toyota re does the Matrix. Come on GM.... you have a perfect platform and engines for it... Delta/2.5 ecotec Just not a HHR clone. But then I'm not sure if Delta has AWD capabilities.
  9. Almost done with it *Edit* I wanted to do more to this but I'll let the contest finish if nobody else has anything to enter.
  10. I ment G6 as in sixth geration Grand Am
  11. Doesn't G5 essientially mean 5th generation Grand Am? I too perfer the Grand Am name but to the general public it's a probably considered a cheep rental car.
  12. If you have the 3100 V6, I think the biggest issue to watch out for is the infamous head gasket issue with the 60 degree V6s (3100 & 3400). I think the issue was corrected in 2002 up models.
  13. I got a WIP... I'll let you know if I need more time
  14. Thoughts? Maybe it's just that color combination that I love. I can see this looking awsome in a G6 GTP coupe... ebay auction of the car
  15. http://www.saturn.com/saturn/detour/television/index.jsp Titled "Inspiration" Something else to keep in mind, at the end when it shows the Aura, Sky, & Vue Redline, this is printed below:
  16. When I remember to, I just copy my posts into Word before posting. But, it would be a pretty cool feature.
  17. For biodiesel, where would we obtain fuel?
  18. I was thinking Robert Plant when I saw the pic
  19. I've been having the same thought too.. I just doesnt' feel right to want a Saturn more over a Buick or Pontiac.
  20. Congrats to the winner GT and Nos for 2nd place. Now to just think of something for the Enclave chop
  21. Shoes Beer, Liquor, Water, Soda, Juice, or Milk
  22. AmericanV8 or Turbo 6?
  23. Not too mention that some of those engines that Opel and Vauxhaul use are diesel that if I'm not mistake do not meet US emission standards. Or maybe it's just the stigma on how the general public views diesel engines.
  24. I'm curious if it will have the revised grill simular to what the LT's have(wich I have to say I'm not impressed with that black plastic in the headlgihts to fill the spot where the crossbar once was). Simular to when the Silverado HD's got the revised grille and the year after it went through the rest of the line up. I wish they had used chrome on the trim of the grill and the lower intakes on the SS though (the black & grey plastic looks cheep IMO.
