  1. Cheers! We plan to start trying in a matter of months.
  2. If done well (see VW and BMW), yeah, it's lovely. If overwrought to the point of clashing (see Honda and Acura), not so much. But I kinda like both your chops... the tan and the taupe work as accents instead of both fighting for attention. (O/T, is that a nav screen in the first pic, or is that just the flash?)
  3. Then you suck as a driver. My mother would win THAT race.
  4. I don't really think there's a bad CTS color. To answer the original question, I go for black, navy blue, and some kind of dark maroon/burgundy metallic.
  5. Floyd, you mis-misspelled "important."
  6. Love dark amber maple syrup, but I can get buy on the stuff I buy at the store. BTW, Croc, Log Cabin no longer contains HFCS.
  7. Oldsmoboi, I forgot all about the *228. I haven't done it in years, and not at all with the phone I currently have. Let me do it now...
  8. I've been only two places where I didn't get good Verizon service, even on my now-crappy RAZR: 1 - A remote mountainous region in SW VA 2 - My job But still, Verizon FTW. /thread
  9. Tough summer will do that to ya...
  10. Great. I'm gonna be up for hours reading this site now...
  11. My dad, mom, paternal grandfather, youngest aunt, and youngest brother all have birthdays on the same day of the week as I do (this year, all Wednesdays). Moreover, my dad and his youngest son (my baby brother) were born on the same date (April 22), as were my paternal grandfather and his youngest daughter (my aunt) (April 29).
  12. In afternoon rush traffic: Toyota MR2 Spyder right in front of me. Lotus Elise in oncoming traffic.
  13. Yep. In order of increasing magnitude (every three zeros): Million Billion Trillion Quadrillion Quintillion Sextillion Septillion Octillion Nonillion Decillion etc.
  14. I'm weird... I interchange between cursive and print. When in grad school, I would use cursive when taking notes in my culture or literature classes... but print when in my linguistics classes. In church I take notes in cursive too. I use print everywhere else, but my wife complains that my print is too messy. Of course, she also complains that my cursive is too small. I can't win.
  15. Sure about that? Or was it one the dealer just hadn't been able to get rid of?
  16. How does BMW sell them? It's a phenomenon called "roundel hypnosis."
  17. :lol::lol::lol::lol:
  18. When coming back from Raleigh yesterday, saw a new Taurus SHO in black, the first '10 Taurus I'd seen on the road in motion. Definitely has much better lines than the Taurus it replaces.
  19. Story is here. I'm guessing that the intruder, with 29 prior convictions, wasn't the meter-reader. Thoughts?
  20. Also symptomatic of society.
  21. One commenter said that college girls make up about 90% of the driver base. But I would figure that old people fit in there too.
  22. What I mean is, the question to ask is "was it consensual until she sobered up?" Her character can be called into question anyway since she was already drinking while underage.
  23. I'm guessing that "Gary" didn't force the girl to drink...
  24. I've always preferred simple luxury with unsuspecting speed. So.... Audi S8. With a couple of options, of course.
  25. That car would own, even today! (with a modern design inside and out, of course) What was the designator used for the 6.6L?
